The fatigue is the part that is making life a misery for me, the nausea can ve bad, but the fatigue is making getting through my days very tough her at 1.5 mg (and since the beginning)
Firs t, there is no official 1.5mg dose so not sure how much you are on. Second, may want to discuss with your physician about possibly reducing the dose
Thats a great question. There are many beliefs but the package insert just says weekly. Best to ask the prescriber who wrote it for you. if I was counseling one of my patients, i would tell them to try Wednesday as it takes 1-3 days to hit peak and may start to wear off a day early. it will be at its strongest on the weekend in this way.
This is a great question but I suggest you ask the doctor or medical professional who prescribed it for you. Every person in weight loss is different and I cannot comment without knowing you and your medical history personally.
Just took my 3rd injection yesterday and worried it didn't go in because I didn't feel it like I did the first two shots. Is it possible it moved or that I just didn't feel it? My shirt did feel wet afterwards but I had already got it wet prior to trying to take my shot so I really don't know what to do. I think I'm paranoid mostly since I didn't feel it this time. Is it possible that's due to injecting it where more fat is on my stomach or should I always feel it ?
These are great questions but are really hard to answer. Some people seem to feel the injections each time and some feel them sometimes. Watch the video again on Wegovy.com to make sure you are doing it exactly right. Good luck :-)
Great question. It depends on a lot of factors that are hard to determine here. Best way to find out is to start a program, cause if it is covered we can prescribe it and if not there are great alternatives
My doctor prescribed this medication yesterday. Once everything goes through my insurance prior authorization hoopla I will get it soon. I cannot wait to see the results.
Great Question. You should ask your physician about your specific situation but the package insert does not put an upper limit on Wegovy use, meaning, the disease does not go away with weight loss, so keep taking it as long as it is helping :-)
Thank you for the explanation. I'm getting it tomorrow.
Check in a few weeks and let us know how its working :-)

Is it ok to switch from Saxenda to wegovy? If yes what should be the gap period in between?

Will insurance cover the cost of this drug?

@@VillyMarlou it’s in really short supply. Hopefully you can get it once approved.
Are there any limits to how long you can take Wegovy? I’m about to start, and didn’t ask my physician that question.
