i have to agree with diliprai. Kirat has 2 definition or meaning.
first definition of kirat is adivasi janjati or first people of the land.
second definition of kirat is mongoloid race.
so tell me if gurung fall into both category?
if you agree that gurung is adivasi janajati and mongoloid race then gurung is definitely kirat.
yes gurung are kirat. all mongolian adivasi janajati are kirat. they were known as kirat in ancient time and not only rai and limbu. if we turn the pages of history there are no mention of gurung magar rai limbu tamang thakali and other adivasi janajati. the history book only mention kirat. therefore kirat means all adivasi janajati people.
