More Sinister Appearance. If you want to add more black to the exterior of your Jeep, these Smittybilt Door Hinges can help you out. These replace both sides of the hinge, both on the door and on the tub, giving you a completely different appearance. Some JK owners are really into the stealthy or sinister blacked out look, which might appeal to you. Or you might just want hinges that match other black exterior mods. Sometimes, the door hinges on your Jeep need to be replaced, because they're damaged or are corroding. Whatever your reasons for getting these hinges, they'll work great, so you can concentrate on more important things. Know that these door hinges will work on your 2007 to 2017 Jeep Wrangler JK.
Made to be Strong. With these hinges, you get some of the highest quality and best-built options on the market today. The hinges are made of stainless steel, so they're strong and will hold up well over time. You get four hinges total, or enough for two doors, so you can swap them out for the front or rear doors on your Jeep.
Direct Replacement Parts. Because these hinges are direct replacements for the OE parts, you don't have to cut or drill anything to get them in place. This job is easy enough for just about anyone to complete. Just give yourself about an hour, from start to finish. You'll need a set of Allen bolt sockets, plus to remove your doors to swap out the hinges.

Watching your guy remove the bolts make it look so easy. I just stripped the head off of all four bollts on my left hinge. I guess now I have to drill them out.
Lmao! Hey it gives you something to do on the weekend. I love spending my free Saturdays drilling out stubborn bolts from old ass jeeps.
I just had this happen to me. Did you happen to make a video tutorial? I can't find any videos on this repair.
Is there anything to put in between the new hinge and door so it don't rust
Ya! With the new hinge before install you can sand down the the metal and put primer and paint over it, then put silicon on the new hinge. After install wipe the excess silicon from the door.
Do you make stainless steel hinges for the new JLU?
Do not expect it to work this way! There is an INFINITE amount of adjustment and it is maddening. In- out, up- down, and then if you have them barely out of alignment, the door will never come off! I spent 4 hours on two driver side doors, this video is Crap!
I was curious about that haha
This video is literally no help
Installing these are such a pain. You definitely need 2 people and a lot of patient. Over the course of 2 winters, they began to rust.
should of bought stainless steel then! kentrol
@@tysonduquette1414 let me know when they make black stainless steel ;). All could have been avoided if they powder coated them instead of using generic paint.
I find it easier to do 1 at a time so I dont need to deal with adjusting
