My father owns a 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10 thats only has 19,000 miles on it right now a d is in pristine condition! We are trying to get in contact with local SRT-10 owners and start our racing group here in Tucson called PPRT. (Phillips Preformance Racing Team) Our main goal is to bring back the trucks name and fix thoughs who jave been crashed or need fixing. We also want to keep them on the streets and make sure that they are fully functional and not sitting in a lot rotting away! Edit: We also have 3 SRT-10 owners that we are in contact with and have all agreed to have a meet whenever available.
Nobody forgets the Neon SRT-4. Dodge expected to sell 3,000 of them. Instead immediately when they went on sale, they sold like crazy. 25,000 specialty vehicles in 3 years. More than 8 times as many as they thought they would sell. That Neon kicked the crap out of everything in its class, and was also faster than a same year Mustang GT, faster than a 350Z, and faster than the S2000. Nothing from Honda could touch it. Unfortunately it didn't fit in with the import crowd, and the American muscle crowd saw it as "WWD" (wrong wheel drive). But no matter, it remains an amazing and well thought of part of automotive history, with a few thousand still out there, many pushing 200k miles or more.
Aaaaand the srt-6 has no manual option, as well as not having a manual, and it also didn’t have a manual, but let’s not forget that it didn’t have a manual
At this point I wouldn't lol most of these have been boosted to death and were pretty much off the road before a 100k and the ones that are left are not great when compared to cars similar priced.
I got my SRT-4 (2003) in late 2006 for just over $12,000 used as my step father worked for a Chevy dealer where it was traded-in. I got it before anybody else saw it. Had boost leaks so it ran mid 14's even at 3300 ft above sea level. Once the boost leaks were fixed, ran 13.8 on slicks same track. Stage 1 PCM, Downpipe, Exhaust and ported exhaust manifold got it down to 12.74@106. It ran 11's Stage 3R. I do miss it but I got a Focus ST now. I would have gotten the Dart SRT-4 if Dodge had followed-through. I have no doubt it would have crushed everything in it's wake and have support from Mopar as well to make it even faster, just like the Neon SRT-4. Eventually I do want to get a Caliber SRT-4. They are unappreciated and undervalued so very affordable on the used market and as mentioned in the comments no real reliability issues so high mileage cars are cheap for the performance you get. Too many people are anti-American cars despite being Americans, willing to pay $5,000 for a 20 year old Honda Civic EK with 100 hp, when they can buy a Neon SRT-4 for the same money with 215-220 hp at the wheels. For the same amount of money it would take to get 400 hp plus swap a B motor into a Honda, you could make 500-600 hp with a SRT-4 and it's dead reliable, runs low 10's all day long too.
Anthony Thomas agreed. All these American cars are easily modifiable and go pretty quick while being reliable. Not sure where the notion for unreliable American cars came from. My family thinks the same, sure maybe not on the same level as mass produced cheap cars but still solid
@@MarspeedCars the 80s and 90s american cars had some real lemons amongst some docent models. Japanese cars were just on average more reliable then....Its really not true anymore, but I think it's just a hold over attitude.
My mom had one; we absolutely ABHORED the goddamn thing. That piece of junk cost us over 20 GRAND of in-warranty repairs, and another 8 GRAND of out of warranty repairs. We finally got rid of it after it almost KILLED us on the highway when part of the frame rusted and fell off the rest of the car. She said it was the worst car she ever had BY FAR, and she had a couple of mid-90s Kias, an Oldsmobile Omega, and even a Chevy Chevette. After that shitshow, she (and I did as well) vowed to never buy another Chrysler product again, and to tell anyone we see who is considering to buy a Dodge to deeply reconsider.
Scott Krafft yeah my mom has a normal dodge caliber, it's hair the most unreliable car I've seen. Dodge and chrysler products just aren't reliable like Toyotas and Honda's
yes the Normal caliber suffer from issues but not the srt caliber completely different vehicles. This video is not about the regular na versions of any vehicles but the srt (street and racing technology) versions
Fast Lane Kang yeah I've seen an srt caliber in Wichita cars and coffee and it's much nicer than the original, I'm not a dodge fan personally but i would take an srt-4 caliber over many other dodges
I have owned a Caliber SRT-4 since it was new. It's been a great car but unfortunately gets a bad rap. It has been incredibly dependable and I never even used the factory warranty. It's also very versatile and you can load a TON of stuff in the back. It's the best road tripping vehicle I've ever owned by far.
Great video!! I test drove a new Neon SRT-4 back in 2004, wanted one bad, ended up with a 2003 Neon SXT 5 spd, back around 2006 I was invited to a Dodge/Chrysler test drive event, at this event you were given two SRT tickets, one of the SRT's there to drive was a Crossfire SRT-6, which my friend drove. Your video brought back some memories, just subscribed.
I noticed a lot of these were produced around 2008, approximately when the huge auto industry recession began. They probably didn't sell well because people weren't buying new cars - nevermind pricey performance variants. Fortunately we bounced back and have all the SRTs that we have today and the competitors from Chevrolet and Ford.
I had a 2005 Dodge SRT-4 with the Stage 3 kit from Mopar. It was in Orange Blast Pearl with the black interior. Had the Viper-style seats. Loved that car. Was horrible in the snow with the 3-season tires.
I bought a '03 brand new. It actually sits in the garage while my newer vehicle sits outside. Love my SRT4! And my other car is no slouch either....2006 Charger SRT8. It's just not as fun as the SRT4.
I love those SRT Magnums but I think it's the 2008 that people are paying big money for, but damn for as much as they want 20k I got BOTH of my Daytonas! And you could get any other year Magnum SRT for half the 20k and less!
Yes because 2008 was the year the Magnum got redesigned (Charger/300 got interior redesigns). The front end and interior were redesigned and introduced features like HID projector headlights, and the availability of the new (in 2008) MyGig navigation system. They also only made 240 Magnum SRT8s in 2008, so they are highly sought after. A Steel Blue Metallic 2008 SRT8 is dubbed a “unicorn” because they only made 29 of those in ‘08. Magnum R/T AWD’s are rare as well, as they made 205 of those in 2008.
Crazy thing is there are at least 2 pre face lifts around me here in powder springs GA just a mom driving one and the other was for sale just sitting I also seen one another close to me he bought when it came out I have pictures. Also I remeber a inferno red one when I was Austin Tx talk to the owner real cool guy. I seldomly look to see if there any art magnums for sale and there rarley are any also the 08 ones good looks finding one of those for sale
Dont forget the SRT4 aftermarket was HUGE. with bolt ons and tune those cars were keeping up with Z06 vettes at the time. Big turbo upgrades and forget it. you were trapping mid 11's in the 1/4 mile.
Fun fact: 90% of SRT-4 Neons actually put their advertised crank hp to the wheels right off the factory floor. Mine even dyno'd at 231whp/238tq when it was stock with 184k km on the clock.
If you don't remember these cars, you're probably in high school still. None of these are even 20 years old yet, but the reviews and videos on the cars is decently well done.
Thanks man! yeah it would be nice but I think Dodge just cannibalized their Magnum sales with other products. Now they have way too much stuff out especially performance cars for the Magnum to work again
On the Magnum customers actually never stopped buying it sales where around 40,000 total units for the 3 years of full production . The Magnum was killed due to alot of internal politics primarily from Daimler who hated the Idea of Chrysler making a RWD V8 sedan which could threaten their E-Class sales.
Burnseys RT i was just saying that they shouldve given the Dart the same treatment I see alot on the streets and it wouldve been more affordable for those who cant get the v8s
Yeah I have the srt4 now and love it sadly most of the have been badly abused and are more like buying a project car took me 3 years to find a good one clean one
I enjoyed the hell out of my nsrt4 with the stage 3 mopar package. with just a Crower stage 1 cam upgrade, fuel pump, injectors and an 3" exhaust tha bish was quick af on the streets
The Ram SRT-10 will forever be one of the coolest SRT products ever made
Fulfilled Rouge l agree. Original owners paid over sticker price for srt10 trucks.

Still the fastest production truck in 2018
Fulfilled Rogue I'd agree before they made the trackhawk

SRT-4 is the least forgotten about SRT, its probably close to the most popular
No definitely not the hell cat track hawk and Chrysler srt8 are definitely all more popular
Actually this was 6yrs ago so nvm
I don't think anybody ever forgot about the SRT 10.
Nobody ever will. A fuckin pickup truck with a viper engine
You'd be surprised
Aaaaand the srt-6 has no manual option, as well as not having a manual, and it also didn’t have a manual, but let’s not forget that it didn’t have a manual
Philip Whitman wait did i think you mentioned everything but that the Srt-6 doesn’t come in a manual
The ram SRT 10 shall never be forgotten. They should make a new one.
They are make a new Dodge ram hellcat
And a mini Dodge like the Dakota
2021: makes ram trx , sorry bud that’s about the closest we’re getting to the legendary srt-10
Chryslers are eh. But when I heard that supercharger whine on that crossfire my jaw dropped. Holy hell that whine is beautiful
I wish they made an SRT Dart. I know ppl would go crazy. I would.
eunit08 that would be pretty wild
It was in the works, but obviously cancelled when they killed the Dart.
dodgeboy90501 dam wouldve killed all these 4 cylinder cars on the street
Hopefully once the hellcat trend dies down they’ll make another 4 cylinder car then srt4 it
cLippaTriPaaA hmm havent heard anything about them being problematic. Is that why they are discontinued?
Just picked up my srt4 neon 8 hours ago so excited
Super cool car to own. Transmission isn't the greatest though.
At this point I wouldn't lol most of these have been boosted to death and were pretty much off the road before a 100k and the ones that are left are not great when compared to cars similar priced.
I didn’t even know about the Srt caliber, but it looks awesome
Xo-1 Dodge could have been ahead of Ford and Honda if they offered it in AWD
Same 😂
It also had a standard wall outlet and the top part of the glove box acts as a cooler for drinks
Xo-1 I had the same profile picture before!
It is even still in FWD form it's an awesome platform
THEY SHOULD BRING BACK THE RAM SRT10
TINO TINTI hell yeah!
TINO TINTI no viper means no ram srt10
I agree. Id love to see a ram with the demon engine in it hehe
Graves yup
TINO TINTI Put in the Demon or Hellcat engine in it and you have a pickup that if made, would be so cool.

I’m sorry, but I will NEVER forget the Ram SRT-10. I have wet dreams about that truck man
Raylovescars ! Hahahahah
The chrysler 300c srt8 in my opinion has been forgetten.
Gonzalo Lopez this will be included if I do a part 2!
I used to own one of those I loved it
Definitely not forgotten i see them everyday
The 2012 redesigned was forgotten.
They stopped selling the 300 SRT in the US, only in Dubai now.
Someone needs to put a hellcat motor in the new dodge RAM truck
Bitemyshinny Metalass well....they did
It the power wagon would be miiiiiint
Edit: nvmd i think they already do 😂😂😂
TRX
this aged well
The SRT10 was absolutely mental and it was my childhood
I still own my 03 srt4 that I bought new in 03!
I didn't forget
K lol
I still own a Neon SRT-4
So you have "mesothelioma" twitch streamer super_noodle
I have a 08 caliber srt it's an awesome car

Scott Krafft your mom had a srt dodge or the normal one
Scott Krafft yeah my mom has a normal dodge caliber, it's hair the most unreliable car I've seen. Dodge and chrysler products just aren't reliable like Toyotas and Honda's

Jeremy Mitchell cool info! Yeah not sure why more didn’t sell, it was a powerful and useful ride
I want one but noone in my area is selling it, must me a keeper
You're the only person I know with an srt-4 that has said that... lol
And you drive a.....I stated my real world experience....enough said.
@Car Obsesser they’re jealous of us enjoy your caliber these things rip and are deemed super reliable when taken care of
0:40 I love that car
When I was little I play midnight club 3 dub edtion I choosed it for tuners race and complete all with it
Naturally, being a car nut, I never forgot these. I want a ram SRT10 so bad, lol.
Great video!! Daytona 5.7 that sounds awesome! Would be cool to drive these things, and thanks for subscribing!
I LOVED my SRT4. I bought it brand new off the truck and had the Stage 3 kit installed. I wish I still had that car.
am hoping to get a srt-10 fairly soon
that would be awesome!
5:24 that sound made the hellcat proud. It's like the baby sister of the hellcat while the demon is the older brother of the hellcat
I noticed a lot of these were produced around 2008, approximately when the huge auto industry recession began. They probably didn't sell well because people weren't buying new cars - nevermind pricey performance variants. Micah definitely true I didn’t even consider that! Recessions and car buying do not mix
I'm definitely not included in "we"... I'll never forget any srt!
Dodge was just insane during the 00s! They made an SRT out of just about anything!
FINALLY!!! THANK YOU FOR REMEMBERING THE CALIBER SRT4!!!
I had a 2005 Dodge SRT-4 with the Stage 3 kit from Mopar. It was in Orange Blast Pearl with the black interior. Had the Viper-style seats. Loved that car. Was horrible in the snow with the 3-season tires.
I had steel.rims.with good snows and my 05 srt4 was great in snow.
Been driving the neon srt4 since 2006. Twelve years. Not perfect but fun. STI destroyer. Seriously a beast. Best sounding 4 cylinder ever.
I own a nSRT4 it’s a fun car to drive, I consider them as rare cars imma keep my neon and pass it on to my kids
iZymes wanna adopt me I’m getting my license once I get a car
I bought a '03 brand new. It actually sits in the garage while my newer vehicle sits outside. Love my SRT4! And my other car is no slouch either....2006 Charger SRT8. It's just not as fun as the SRT4.
Get them a less powerful one those things are plastic and asbestos
mac10987 gaming asbestos ? That was like the 90s no cars use that stuff anymore
Neons are not forgotten...
Awww that neon was cute
Dodge NEEDS to bring back the Magnum as a Charger Wagon
Matt O Just imagine a Charger Hellcat wagon omg
Joel Arun I like that idea so much...great idea!
Yup
Now THAT would be cool
....or a Chrysler 300 Shooting Brake!
3:21 i notice that license plate. Thats my state. Also I like the srt 10 ram, but the magnum will be missed
Although pretty similar to the Magnum I feel many people tend to overlook the 300C SRT as well
I still want a Viper truck, it's still the baddest p/u truck going...
I love those SRT Magnums but I think it's the 2008 that people are paying big money for, but damn for as much as they want 20k I got BOTH of my Daytonas! And you could get any other year Magnum SRT for half the 20k and less!

Yeaaah! T'sup Ricey Rice!

O.T. Stogner Yup I know. That's why when I see some old lady selling her unicorn for 5k I'm jumping on it immediately! Lol

Dont forget the SRT4 aftermarket was HUGE. with bolt ons and tune those cars were keeping up with Z06 vettes at the time. Big turbo upgrades and forget it. you were trapping mid 11's in the 1/4 mile.
Coolest chevy ss models we forgot about

Yeah I have the srt4 now and love it sadly most of the have been badly abused and are more like buying a project car took me 3 years to find a good one clean one
I didn't even know that the Crossfire SRT and the Caliber SRT existed!
My two favorite SRT models are the Magnum SRT8, and the RAM 1500 SRT10!
I didn't forget about these
I frequently think about all of these except the crossfire I didn’t know that existed that’s cool.
Great video!
