When I watch these videos I imagine how the glamis dunes used to be in the 80’s. Bet it was awesome. Hey Kevin. I don’t know if you do your own machine work but I would love to see the process of boring/honing some cylinders. Trenching some cases. Ya know. Normal banshee machine work. A lot of guys don’t like giving information out to the public about these engines but it seems like you don’t mind. That’s a good thing for all of us younger guys that don’t have as much time with em as you do. Thanks Kevin.
Thanks for video..been thinking of doing same upgrade with my 4mil. Question...I'm going from sea level to 6000 ft. Do I need different dome size or can i just rejet? Have 24cc now. Pump gas.
@herrjugsracing7816 awesome video, I'm building a yammagamma (an RG250 gamma chassis with an RD350ypvs) is 421cc the biggest you can go without machining the crankcase? and what kit would you recommend for a street bike application?
That is correct. I like the 421 cub or cheaper alternative do the 421 Athena. m.ua-cam.com/video/4gU6SGVAMDw/v-deo.html&pp=ygUSQmFuc2hlZSA0MjEgQXRoZW5h
@@herrjugsracing7816 thank you for the explanation. I mostly build vintage street and some vintage race bikes and, over the last 20+ years, I have built about a dozen modded RD350s and a couple RZ350s but I hadn't seen anyone mill off the gear sets. It makes perfect sense I guess for drag racing a quad but I doubt I would see the benefit on a street motor.
I got a fresh pro mod done by Tyson racing with new shift forks. He said use a stock un modded shift star. I feel it doesnt shift as smooth as it should. Do you recommend switching to a modded shift star? i already have modded shift detent and shift shaft.
🐐 Couldn't be happier with the 4mil stock rebuild you did for me this past summer 🙌

Dang man I heard since you made the video on my 521 this is the new hot ticket 😉
I was like that looks like mine 😂 that 421 ran good over 100+ hrs
I replaced every Phillips screw with Allen screws. Phillips are ment for kids toys and drywall screws
😂
Nice work!
What kind of hp are we talking about whit this 521cc kit?
Wery nice jobb and a super informant video

Yes you do. My guess without doing the math would be 21cc.
@@herrjugsracing7816 thanks

First!
I had the adjustment wrong on the clutch blow up 3 of them till I figure out I was doing it wrong
Did you torque all your bolts and nuts off camera?
Yes, the videos are too long as it is. I stick the torque info in every video for reference.
Can you 421 or 521 sets whitout nicasil I prefeer real steelsleevs. sorry for the spelling.
You can get 68mm iron sleeves for the 421 and I'm sure you can find other sizes too.
What is the cost of one of these engines complete? 👍🥃🇦🇺
It changes as time marches forward. Check website or contact me for prices.
Just curious what the benefit of the trans promod?
Helps on shifting when the horse power goes up. At a certain point the shifting slows way down and becomes frustrating.

I have a question can you fit blaster pistons in banshee cylinders (jugs) ? And if so what other work would I have to do?? @herjugsracing
You only use blaster pistons on stock cylinders for 66mm bore and above on 58x115 stroke cranks.

As long as the spring rate is stock I would run a modded star.
