This video is dedicated to all those who spent the best years of their lives in Lineage 2 MMO and still miss those unforgettable emotions. For many years, we have been wandering through the world of MMORPGs, desperately trying to find something that could soothe our gamer souls. Playing on both, official and private servers was still fun, but we were always looking for something more. Lineage 2 Essence and Lineage 2 Revolution just couldn't give us what we want, same as old school Lineage 2 Interlude servers.
Ashes of Creation MMORPG is an ambitious project by Intrepid Studios that is led by Steven Sharif. It aims to redefine the MMO genre by offering a truly dynamic and player-driven experience. At the heart of its vision is the concept of a living, breathing world where every decision players make has a lasting impact on the game environment. The game features a unique node system, deep crafting and economy mechanics, PvP & PvE elements, 8 archetypes and 64 classes, naval content, castle sieges and many other awesome in-game systems. The world of Verra is designed to be immersive, with a rich lore, intricate political systems, and deep crafting and economy mechanics that cater to both casual players and hardcore enthusiasts alike. Starting on October 25, you will be able to enjoy the gameplay firsthand by taking part in Ashes of Creation Alpha 2.

Lineage 3 is finally coming home. We hoped for AA to be it... We hoped for Lineage Eternal (TL) to be it... We hoped for L2 Classic to bring it back... None came to pass. AoC is the next hope. Probably is the last one.

Well, technically you could do that in Lineage 2 as well, but I get what you mean, true
Yes but I am absolutely sure you will still have limited choice in reality unless you want to potentially significantly handicap yourself, there will be better choices than others based on what your class is.
@@Michael_G980 I agree, but I guess it is what it is in a game where you have classes. Ranger with a staff or a 2-handed axe wouldn't make much sense, I guess

Lineage 2 has some awesome skill sounds and animations: resurrection, hurricane sounds are too good. Ashes sounds are too wimpy, for now. Animations are kind of meh and colors are all neons. Maybe they will be improved in the future. I really hope they will.
So true! But yeah, we're not even in A2 yet, so there will be polishing iterations in future
If no PvE then dead game. Seems to lack that.
You are probably not following it closely, right? There is gonna be plenty of PvE stuff: raid bosses, open world and instanced dungeons, various hunting grounds (solo and group-oriented) etc.
This video is about what lineage 2 players value and what's available in Ashes. Pve has never been the main reason to play lineage 2.
@@drasleona6216 I mean, epic bosses and certain dungeons were kinda fun. But ordinary grind - not really, unless it was a contested spot and you had to fight for it
@@FlankerAOC the difference being that the majority of content is directly tied to peoples motivation to achieve anything in pve. It's to be better in PvP.
People have an odd notion that PvP players don't do pve content.. quite the opposite, we do it so we can PvP better and fight stronger players and aim for the top. I.e Olympiad owning Aden, rune etc
@@drasleona6216 absolutely. There was plenty of PvP in L2, but PvE took like 90% of the time
