Thank you, I put the plug in the second intake and we are using our 1500 gph supllied with our 18x48 and it is working great this morning. The suction is far greater, I guess that part was for a reason...lol

Finally a video that tells me the basket will be low and the blue ring will free float.
There was a piece put in to the suction, before screwing on the adaptor. Is that required? I will go see if it fits. I thought it was for a different install, but heard on another video that it helped to increase suction.

We just bought and setup the Bestway 22x12' pool and installed this w/ the 2100 gpm sand pump.
It seems to work if we block off the other intake. I just hooked it up so the jury is still out.

I really appreciate you stating what the plug was for. I honestly didn't quite understand the plug concept based on the paper that came with the skimmer just for the plug until after you put it in your 2nd intake.

I have the same pool as yours with the same skimmer. I have a bestway sand filter and still it is not enough suction it seems. Bit annoying.

@@vulcan4d make sure to close the the 2nd input that is not the skimmer about 90% of the way or use that black cap with the hole to cover the 2nd input. I’d also check if anything has gotten clogged under that blue adapter or at the pump.

Stupid question but on the the nipple part should go in the inlet correct?

I’m not sure I understand your question but the blue adapter for the hose attaches to one inlet and then the other included white stopper with a hole in it goes on the other inlet to block water flow so that the skimmer has better suction on its inlet.

So you can only use the skimmer with pools with 2 inlets? Our intex pool has one inlet (lower one) and one outlet (upper one). Or am I not understanding something right 🤔

Best addition I made to our AGP. Keeping the surface clean is a major part of the battle, and for the $24 I spent on the skimmer, way worth it. Once the surface is clean, much less sinks to the bottom and you have to vacuum less too. I am SUPER glad I watched your setup video, because the foam and pavers setup was GREAT. Your videos are shot well and logically, your narration is great and are like professional quality. Add a saltwater system and you will be super happy; we love ours.

What did you plug the first one with, when you said to slow

    The inlet plug?

Any time I try to use one of the plugs, I get the low pressure errors on my pool, so aggregating.

Do you need two outlets(one specific for the skimmer) or does function with one?
The usual is that it's one outlet and one inlet.

I have the same question but no one seems to be answering 😅. Did you find out the answer?

You do not need 3 or 2. Works the same way. Ig you have two suction inlets the one with the strainer on it and put in the white plug. And then the second section inlet attach the skimmers hose and adapter to the same type of inlet with a strainer but you remove the strainer and attach them blue piece and hose two it. Or you could keep one suction plugged off completely and just use one in and one out. Obviously that's what you will do if you only have two. Hope this helps

@@hebaadan7490most pools that don't come with a filter don't have any hardware except the black plugs. Your filter will have one strainer inlet and one outlet attachment. The way this is explained is if you Have two of the strainer inlets. I have 2 because I used one from my old pump and the one the pump came with. The skimmer didn't provide any if those pieces. Just that blue attachment part. But read my other comment here about the 2 or 3 inlet and outlets. Hope that helps. Took me awhile to figure it out. Also that white nipple flow regulator I think is only needed if you have 3 total ports. I don't think it's needed if only two are used. Also most filters don't come with the T spliiter for the hoses for B &B . Just two hoses for A and B Port. I have a T spliiter from my old pump. Which you will need if you are using 3 ports. Hope this made sense.
