The instrumentals alone in essentially every song Counterparts produces are just full blown eargasms, like it's beyond enjoying music, it's actually satisfying to listen to, it's like everything is composed just right and it all falls into place and meshes together perfectly.
Especially in solace or the disconnect. Love these dudes.
HushLittleHeart Tragedy is the best example of that statement. The melodics just flow so perfectly in that song it makes me cry. Fucking love this band.

Tragedy Will Find Us has grown on me. It has proven to be a very memorable album.

"Tragedy Will Find Us" is a masterpiece.
I found these guys at my lowest point and I feel nothing but a loss of stress every time I hear them play.
No one does transitions like Counterparts. They are the best. You tie that into awesome guitar work, tight drumming and great vocals/lyrics, you get one of the best bands to ever do it.
It's crazy that they have been this consistent with all the lineup changes over the years. Every track is awesome, all the time, 10 years strong now.
