Pro Wike 27 sacked Rivers lawmakers remain sacked, and their seats remain vacant as the Appeal court didn't decide on the validity of their illegal decampment nor the declaration of their seats vacant. The Appeal Court focused on declaring that the Federal High Court is the only court with jurisdiction to decide on the legality or illegality of decampment, thereby ruling against Rivers High Court proceedings. The legal fire works continues. The former Speaker Edison Ehie led House votes and proceedings that declared the seats of the 27 lawmakers vacant are still valid and subject to pending litigation and the vacant seats of the 27 lawmakers remains vacant, and the actions of the House led by Ehi in declaring the seat vacant have not been declared null and void by any court.
The local govt Chairmen whose tenure have since expired remains expired and can't be extended and was never extended.

Thanks to Hon Rep Ugochinyere. Please keep on fighting for democracy, the rule of law , and judicial raskality. PDP has let Nigerian down. Nigerians would not vote PDP ad an alternative opposition party in future elections. Instead of fighting as opposition party, they like Wike are putting one leg in APC and another leg in PDP. The PDP national leaders have failed these who formed PDP because of selling their birth rights for pots of porridge.
APC would not have taken power from PDP if they have not performed their duties as opposition party during Jonathan government.

Rivers People should know better than to sacrifice the interest of their state for petty greed. But if they are willing to mortgage their State for pecuniary interest, we should let them have what they wish for themselves.
