I would say play around with January before you make a plan with me video so you can get a jist of the style of planning you like. My style changed drastically even right from the get go when I switched from using similar vertical style but in my Filofax to when I first got my ECLP. Hope u do make plan with me videos cuz I love watching them. Also, I'm back in the swing of making plan with me videos so hope you can take a look at them :)

I really love all the encouraging things in the planner. I don't exactly like the graph behind the first sayings either. But it's still cute!

Some of the months (mostly latter part of the year and yes Sept is quite ugly in color.. even June, Oct, and Nov too and even Dec I find) I find have not so great color schemes (I like pastel/muted colors) so I personally like to cover them up with stickers and stuff. Even if I like the colors, I get sick of looking at the same palette 4 weeks in a row. I mean its nice to look at it as opposed to black and white pages so I like the colors there when I flip through, pre-plan, jot down appointments, etc but when it comes to actually planning my week in detail i like to switch up the color schemes a bit.
Its cool you dipped into the Etsy stickers already. Its a big part of this planning community lol. If you like to color coordinate and whatnot you are gonna need some extra appointment stickers. I like the pre-printed one ECLP gives you but some times its not the color I want for my week. The blank ones are great too.

+TheGLOSSette The Etsy seller that I got some stickers from wasn't so great. I liked how they looked but you can't write on them. No matter what type of pen I used, it either smudges or fades off. Then the stickers aren't removable like it says on the shop. I'm very disappointed with that. I do plan on playing around with January though to get an idea of how I would like to do things.
