Cheers from my fish room in Chicago, where the temperature is a Sweden-like "-3" degrees F. I love this nano blackwater tank. My current post features a super similar tank, somewhat bigger with neon tetras (like you wanted) and Licorice Gouramis. I think you could consider a trio of these for your system. They'd be perfect.
Cheers , thanks man! I saw your video it looks super nice 👍 yeah the thing is that my aquarium is too small for fish… I have to get a bigger one in the future 😀
@issaraplayz779 When you have a brand new channel I think that's the reason , and after 5 months & 18 videos I think 5K + is a hell of a start !!! Just make sure you are doing the same thing as you should for everyone, liking 👍 & sharing 🫦
Lovely scape…black water can be very dark….though it’s nice to be able to see the inside of the tank! Health permitting I want to create a 15 or 20 gallon black water tank with neon Rasboras, Pink Lady nerite snails and shrimp. I have plenty of leaves, rocks and sticks outsise.
I bought it at an arts and crafts store called Panduro here in Sweden. I think you can find it on Amazon it’s called adhesive vinyl plastic or something haha 😄 The light is : Diversa - Intenso LED Nanolight - 25 cm / 5,7 W
Awesome videos, jätte bra! 👍🏻After living for some time in Sweden I got you were Swedish before you even said it, but ok come your Italian accent is flawless? 🤔 In any case great inspiration, I really want to do a shrimp tank now!
Even after boiling the leaves and seeds they will release tannins into the water. I wouldnt add black water in there for a while to see howmuch leaches out.

Thanks you! That sounds like a great setup 😊
Good job they are cute
Goodness, how do you not have 100k subs yet? These are quite good videos mate. Keep it up!
Looking to make a blackwater shrimp tank myself so this was plenty helpful!
Appreciate it thank you 😊
This was very inspiring, great work !
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks 😊
Where did you get that black backing you put on? I love it!
And what light are you using?

Hahaha thank you so much! I’m working on my Italian every day 😀 you should definitely get a shrimp tank 😀
is the low ph a problem for shrimp? I heard blackwater aquariums generally have very low ph
No I haven’t had a single death. In fact they are thriving 😊
love it :) great job
Thank you! 😊
Will there be an update on the tank? It looks amazing
Thanks ! I’m planing to do updates on all my setups soon 😊
any tips of getting aquatic plants growing im starting to get frustrated
I would want to see your setup. Can you send a picture to my instagram?
@@terraquaman ok i sent a message invite

Yes thanks I noticed that. I haven’t added any black water. Just regular water 😊
It looks great... but I'm not a fan of dark water tanks. 😢
Thanks! Yeah it’s not for everyone. I’m planning to rescape a few of my aquariums with “normal” water. Maybe you’ll like those better 😀
you can keep a betta fish in that tank
That would be cool I have never kept a betta before! This tank is a bit small it’s only 12 L don’t you think ?
@@terraquaman Bettas don't need a lot of room and they love the dark water. what you have would be perfect :)
@@sherluthienthis is not accurate, bettas need at least 5 gallons of water.
