Well, Rode NT1-A was kind of predictable, but I have to say that the built-in microphones of Zoom recorders are surprisingly good. I can see that you were using them at a distance, but it would be interesting to see how they would compare to Rode NT1-a if you actually leaned in and tried using a pop filter with them as well.

iPhone XS Video quality is amazing. The Zoom H5 and Rode NT1A had better bass but terrible low end wind rumble. Thank you for this great video and thank you for not stretching it to 10 minutes like all the yt techy bois. Yes do more tech videos like this please. Very topical in 2020.

daamn.. now i want the nt1 :( but to be fair the h1n sounds like a decent compromise at the price.
I didn’t keep the H5 in the end. I usually record to the h1n for my videos and occasionally use the NT1A for a voiceover ✌️

Rode sounds great and looks the coolest
It does sound mint! That's me studio mic, but it lacks the portability factor

HM surf Yeah man the Rodes amazing! Needs 48v phantom power though, not as portable as the others 😊 I sent the H5 back and kept the H1 and I use the Rode as my studio mic

Does a smartphone video Camera record 4k with the audio of the H5 or i have to edit in a PC?
The audio and video have to be synced together afterwards in editing

You can’t do it with the H1 you can with the H5 as that has phantom power
