I paid 75 used for one of these and after about a month of ownership I can say that it is extremely comfortable. I haven’t had it on during the rain but mine did come with a rain liner. My only gripe is that the elastic cuffs on the rain liner itself are extremely itchy. I would say wear long sleeves if you plan to be out when it might rain. Other than that I love it.
I have this jacket. Love it. However, is it possible to upgrade the armor to their ce2 version?
Can I change the shoulder and elbow protectors to the CE2 protectors instead of the CE1 the jacket comes with?
Be careful with sizing on this jacket. Im almost Brian’s size, I’m 5’11 195 pounds i ordered a large and it was to small, the arms was shorter and torso by a inch. Waiting for the xl and when i get it ill update then but regardless this is a great jacket and also the other waterproof rev it burn jacket is my favourite, very comfortable and it’s warm for colder days. Thanks.

The knit arm cuff is stopping me from buying this jacket... How is that cuff going to stop the sleeve from blowing up to your bicep in a slide?

How does this compare to the alpinestars t-gp air pro in terms of abrasion resistance?
REV'IT!'s PWR|Mesh is actually quite heavy duty, so it's very similar to the T-GP Air Pro in terms of abrasion resistance. Both jackets also have CE armor and the external shoulder sliders. -DrewZilla

@Revzilla What is the difference between this jacket, the Vertex Air and the GT-R Air (2) Jacket, apart from looks? Which is the better summer jacket?
The Traction uses PWR|Mesh for the whole chassis (except the ribbed collar and cuffs), so the whole jacket flows air. The other two jackets use a combination of standard mesh and textile. The Vertex Air and GT-R Air 2 are almost the same in function except for the hard external shoulder sliders on the Vertex Air. The Traction Jacket also includes a removable waterproof liner. For overall airflow in summer, the -Vertex Air- Traction is the best of the three. -DrewZilla

I must apologize. While the Vertex Air has very good airflow, I meant to say that the Traction has slightly better airflow, since the Traction is made entirely of mesh textile. -DrewZilla

Will this have more air flow than the tornado 2? Looking for something that had the most air flow or breathability while offering good protection.
Yes, since the main shell is made of REV'IT!'s PWR|mesh, the entire jacket gets airflow. Therefore, it does flow a bit more air than the Tornado 2. -DrewZilla
RevZilla will the Reax Alta mesh have more air flow than the tornado 2 and traction?
The Traction still has the most airflow, but the Alta provides almost as much airflow for less money. -DrewZilla

Hey RZilla,
on your website the Green Traction appears to be a dark army green. However in the video the color still appears to be military but instead in a light olive drab. Is this just the lighting? What color does it appear under the sunlight?
Also @2:00 Hi-Viz Brian seems to have something beneath the jacket right at the collar. Is that part of the jacket or part of his ensemble? Looks spiffy.
This is a great looking jacket and I'm really keen on picking one up. Especially when I already was looking at Rev'IT Intercept Jacket from past season, however the Intercept was not a summer jacket even though it had the spring/summer baseball styling. This one is perfect. Just trying to decide between black and green.

The product photo is darker than reality. The color in the video is more accurate. It's a lighter olive drab. At 2:00, you're seeing the front of the collar of the removable waterproof liner. The ribbed jacket collar is over top. -DrewZilla

Yes, the soft armor inside the jacket at the shoulders/elbows is removable. Washing/Care instructions are sewn into the jacket on the label for more information on that as well. I'm stuck between this and the dainese mig and the dainese dinamica, I have a 2018 mt 07 and I comute in Florida. Which one do you think would be best or if you know something better around 400 it would be helpful
The two Dainese jackets have a combination of mesh and full textile, while the Traction is entirely mesh for increased ventilation. So of the three, I would recommend the Traction for Florida. -DrewZilla

That is a loaded question more dependent on your riding than just our opinion. You could wear anyone of REV'IT!'s textile pants or their riding jeans, and a whole lot more. whats goin on with that collar...is the black showing underneath part of the jacket? you guys seemed to down play how the liner looks "fully" and that weirdo black part on the collar. it looks confused....whats up wit dat homeboys....Go Eagles!!!
The black is part of the collar on the removable rain liner. That liner collar has to be a bit taller in that area, so that rain is blocked better. Hope this helps! -DrewZilla
Is PWRMESH made of nylon or polyester?
PWR is a Nylon material from REV'IT! that they use for the base of the PWR Mesh.
