very funny series ,well written ,classic english humour at its best ,with actors who are at their prime ,miss them ,impossible to replace such talent ,xx ❤
My favorite character in this series was Mr. Moulturd. I don't know if it was the writing, the actors, or the directing but these series are the best series ever.
Now here's a thing. Maybe I was too young at the time so I didn't get all the double-meaning I don't know? but as a child I couldn't stand Are you Being served. I found it quite dismal and depressing? I think that was also a lot to do with the set. So when this appeared on satellite TV a couple of months ago I hadn't even heard of it, and had assumed it would be equally beige. But, it really is quite brilliant!!! The writing, the acting and especially the on-location elements lifts the whole thing yet at no point does it become The Last of the Summer wine! 😂👍 Be nice to find a Mavis Moulterd here in the French countryside one day too. Great series... no idea how I had NEVER heard of it at the time? 10/10 🇬🇧
I wish the series would have went on longer I love this series

made in 91' first shown in jan 92' only 12 episodes, covering 2 series.
A worthy successor to AYBS.
❤😂🎉 Love the show.
Its a shame most of cast have died only two young ladies are still alive
John inman
Iconic 😂
I often laugh at the implausible situations created by Mavis and Mr Lucas. Although unlikely to turn him, the speculation was entertaining.
Funny.

The driver at 14:23 is Jeremy Lloyd, one of the writers of the series.
