This is by far the best exploration of this pedal online: great explanations and the pedal dialed in perfectly to highlight the sound possibilities. So many reviews of EFs elsewhere are just knob twiddling by people who don’t seem to know how they work. Very cool with the upright!

The low pass filter in lieu of a blend knob has been a total revelation.

Didn't the Eletro-Harmonix Envelope Follower (Dr Q) have a bass switch? And I'm sure there's another of their old pedals that has a colour switch on it.
I've yet to find an envelope filter pedal that is worth a shit for use during a live show. They all drop to a whisper when engaged.
Try turning the volume up on your bass, I need to max out the volume on my bass to get the full effect to work on my MXR Envelope filter :)

Boss ME-50b‼️…with plenty of other FX & Bottom Boost on board to use/blend in with!✨🎛🎸🎶👍🏾😉…also have a Digitech Bass Synth & Source Audio C4 that are just fine & PHAT‼️👍🏾☝🏾🤨I’m bettin’ some MXR Envelope Filter users are saying,..”Yep!..me too!..”…🤔 But this one is cool tho’ and convenient as well huh!? f’_’ )
Just as a little warning; this pedal, though a fantastic sounding filter, does not play nice with high output active basses. Just had to send mine back. Gutted because its a fantastic sounding thing, it just clips with my Roscoes and their 18v Bartolini preamps.

No, the Aguilar Filter Twin blends two identical envelope filters that sweep in opposite directions, one sweeps up & the other sweeps down. This Supa Funk is an envelope filter which can be adjusted to sweep up or down & has an extra low pass filter to control the overall tone.
