第1空挺団 は、陸上自衛隊の団のひとつで、特殊作戦群が創設されるまでは陸上自衛隊唯一の空挺部隊であった。 第1空挺団は空中機動作戦、即ち航空自衛隊の輸送機 からの落下傘降下による空挺作戦 と、陸上自衛隊のヘリコプターを使ったヘリボーン作戦を展開する能力をもった空挺部隊である。また、各国軍の空挺部隊と同様、精鋭軽歩兵としての位置付けがなされている。
The 1st Airborne Brigade, also known as the Narashino Airborne Brigade, is stationed in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) Camp Narashino in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture. Currently, they are attached to current homeland defense and international combat operations under the JGSDF's Ground Component Command. The 1st Airborne Brigade serves as Japan's elite paratrooper unit meant to counter against either guerrillas or enemy special forces units.

大学の時、この空挺師団演習場の近くに住んでいたが、演習場の周りを迷彩服で小銃を抱えた隊員が歩いているのを見たり、空砲だと思うが小銃の発射音が聞こえたり、授業中学校の教室から落下傘を見たりしていた。
ある時周辺を周回するバスに乗ろうとした時、落下傘のパラシュートであろう大きな布を抱えて迷彩服でばつが悪そうに座っている隊員をみかけた。後で地元の人に聞くと、風が強い日などに降下地点から外れて演習場外に落下した隊員がバスを利用して基地に帰るとのことだった。

自衛隊の皆様本当にご苦労様でございますそして有難う御座います
自分の父親は、35年間航空自衛官として勤務していました。弱音を聞いた事は、全く有りませんでした。ある日若い隊員が非番で基地の外で車で事故を起こした時真夜中でも飛んで行って四六時中付き添いをして家族の方が遠く地方より来られる迄離れられなかった事を昨日の事の様に思い出します。
またある時には、プロペラの輸送機に搭乗している時に突然のトラブルでいくつかのエンジンが止まり急降下してあと数十メートルで駿河湾に墜落しかけた事もあったそうです。父は、常に国を守る為には強力な兵器と訓練が必要と言っていました。今自分が、父親の退職した年齢になり9年前に親孝行をあじわう事も無く他界した父親に感謝せずにはいられません!！

空挺団の人に聞いた話なんだけど、訓練で降下する時に足に負担がかかるらしくてボルト入れてる人とか結構いるらしいです。そんなにして日本を守ってくれる彼らに感謝ですね！
すごく、わかりやすいです。自分も安全保障情報をわかりやすく伝えれるよう頑張ろうと思います。
こういう命がけの仕事を自衛官の方々は我々国民に代わって引き受けてくれています。
厳しい訓練も必要ですが、国会で居眠りしている政治家の給料削ってでも、特に敵陣に真っ先に切り込む決死隊の彼らには、
最新の装備と、より良い待遇が必要です。
自衛官の皆さん、本当に日々の職務ご苦労さまです。訓練とて危険と隣り合わせかと思いますが、可能な限り安全第一で体に気をつけてお過ごしください。

思い出した。空挺教育隊の室内の壁には、「愚痴を言うな、悲鳴をあげるな、物事は徹底的にやれ」張り紙があったな。教育期間が終わり、空挺隊員になると、降下した習志野演習場から並んで空挺団の栄門に行進して入る訳だが、その時に左右に並んだ先輩隊員達の拍手で出迎えらられる。何人かは泣いていたな。と、云うわけでした。

The look very professional. Obviously very well trained, disciplined and organized. No fear in their faces! My youngest son is now a paratrooper as was I. I would be proud to have him train or fight along side warriors such as these! Airborne All The Way!!
Japanese army never had a problem with disorder.look back to WW2 in the Pacific. Anything like there for fathers they'll be a hell of a force.

習志野演習場で行われた、米空軍のC130からの降下訓練は見ました。3月には横田でもやっていたんですね。どんな状況でも、どんな航空機からも、そして他国の航空機からでも降下できるような訓練をするのは、とても意味のあることだと思います。

演習場からさほど遠くない場所に住んでいるので、空挺降下訓練は謂わば日常の一コマです。最近はジェット機のC2輸送機よりもCH47輸送ヘリからの降下が多い感じでした。ある時聞き慣れないプロペラ機からの降下訓練をしていたので、何処の部隊からC130借りてきたんだ？と思っていたら、後で日米合同訓練だったと(UA-camの他のチャンネルで)知りました。飛び去った方向的に、航空自衛隊の下総航空基地を使ったのかな、とも思いました。

Japan does not like non -Japanese in JSDF. Non -Japanese barely tolerated in Japan as it is. Japan likes to remain Japanese, and that is good.
@@jcjgvkftjhb1456 Actually being an American is the closest to working in the Japanese AF as these guys train together all the time. Even FBI and our Japanese police train together in some divisions and not a recent thing, they’ve been doing that for some time now.
What you see here is Japan Air Self-Defense Force and United States Air Force base in the city of Fussa in Kanagawa prefecture. They share the AF base together.
Things must have changed in the 20 years I've been out, or the Japanese do things differently. I did not see a safety controlling static lines.

Interesting that they're jumping out of US C-130's. I wonder if Japan doesn't have transport planes retro-fitted for paratrooper deployment. Whatever the reason, glad we can be of help to a great ally.
There are also transport aircraft in Japan that are adapted to airborne. The airframes owned by the Japanese Self-Defense Forces are mainly modified Hercules imported from the United States. Japan has state-of-the-art weapons by importing from its best ally, the United States, and by its own technology. But except for nuclear weapons ...

What you see here is Japan Air Self-Defense Force and United States Air Force base in the city of Fussa, they share a base. That’s why you see their planes there. And American military in Japan is the joint effort of the U.S. and Japan (meaning the Japanese and Americans pay for them to be stationed in Japan). They share many things together.
