I’m always delusional. Sometimes I think I can get better at Chess. Then I get destroyed.
I remember reading a grandmaster was asked, 'What do you do when you are at a disadvantage in a game?" The answer was, "Sit tight and hope for a mistake by the opponent." I don't play chess but I do play other strategy games and it's good advice, keep playing as well as you can and maybe you'll get an opportunity

Graeat match, Anna! I was watching the live on UA-cam during the last few moves and when your mom got excited about your good position I was excited too, seeing you possibly win against an IM! Ok, the clock is a strong enemy in these situation, but you are a great player! 💪

I have seen you turn around bad positions so many times. You HAVE been in losing positions and won. It’s part of what makes you so exciting to follow.
chess can be really cruel, you can climb the very steep path and still in one move you lose it all

It appears to me Anna is on sort of a plateau of her playing. Wishing her the momentum to push through and up.
Would be cool to see stockfish’ evaluation of every move (brilliant, great, etc.) and/or the estimated elo at the end of the game! Especially the second one is something im very curious about!

Let go of your self-doubt and just play your game. The winning part will take care of itself. Playing to not lose guarantees a non-win.
Totally agree with you Anna, in life like in chess you have to look for the best move despite of how losing is your position, this will allow sometimes to catch an opportunity that you wouldnt expect. Always as talented as beautiful!❤
