    #1: August 2020
Welcome to the future, live from @Aotearoa. Work thats worth it Webinars. Generative conversations shared online introducing the founders of the world we want to see.
This is the first 'Work thats worth it' webinar. An opportunity for you to get to know New Zealand's entrepreneurs. Our hope is you will begin to understand the ecosystem in which VentureCentreNZ exists by meeting those connected to the network who are doing their best for all of us.
Recorded as part of the #Techweek 2020 and Tauranga Groundswell Festival of Innovation week, this webinar features four wahine toa sharing their mahi to create new systems which address challenges we face today and improve life for our tomorrow.
    Kaye-MareeDunn, Founder, ahau.io/
Kaye-Maree is creating better ways for people to identify themselves, anchored in relationships, in collectives, drawing on Mātauranga Maori (the indigenous wisdom and practice of Mana whenua, Aotearoa). Ahau is based on the concept of whakapapa. It delivers the means to assert identity, based on our relationships with each other, with our actions, our contributions, and intentions. Our shared past, present and future, rather than on the constructs of last century's institutions.
    Deb Hancock, Founder, riposte.app/#home
Deb is developing ways for groups to work together consensually, sharing their highs and lows as life unfolds. Riposte's core hypothesis is that by working together we can see everyday experiences which impact lives in our communities, identify challenges to be addressed, and act quickly if necessary drawing on a marketplace of proven expertise and their products and services.
    Greer O'Donnell, Founder, www.theurbanad...
Greer is finding ways to combine technologies in the contract law, cooperative, business and resource management legislation, citizen action and social science spaces, to take collective control, accountability and responsibility for our common obligation to satisfy the right of all humans to have a safe, dry, warm, healthy place to live, and nurture whanau.
    Suzanne Wilkinson, Senior Research, buildbackbette...
Suzanne and her team have been researching crisis recovery for 20+ years globally finding are refining ways to organise and prioritise resources and activity in crisis situations. The Massey University-led team delivers leaders of communities (citizens and government) the means to more easily focus on the wellbeing and the future resilience of whanau and whenua as their number one goal at times when data is confusing and decision making can be compromised by stress.
Nau mai, haere mai, meet New Zealanders, decent people, doing their best work-thats-worth-it using #tech4good. Ngā mihi nui @kayemareedunn @DebsHancock Greer O'Donnell @urbanadvisory & Suzanne Wilkinson @MasseyUni co-creators of a generative, prosperous, flourishing future.
