Sir, Pcloud also have servers in US by default the Pcloud save our data US we have option to transfer data from US servers to EU servers but it cost some money , you missed this point.
Hi Mauricio, I've been searching for a cloud storage provider that allows me to set syncing behavior for folders: "I want this folder to always be local and up to date" "I want to manually update this folders local state" "I want this folder to always be uploaded instantly (and it would be cool if the files in there get deleted locally once they are uploaded. to safe space)" Ideally, I would be able to set this behavior by right-clicking on a folder inside the finder/explorer. But at this point, I'll gladly settle for having to do that in a proprietary interface. So far I've tried iCloud, Dropbox and yesterday, on your recommendation, pCloud. Also looked at others, but this functionality seems to be hard to come by. Perhaps you can direct me somewhere?
@jeffrey bankers it is always better to have separate providers for the storage and the encryption. Also cryptomator is open source and your key stays with you and isn't in the same hands as the data itself (no matter of the claim that it is encrypted with your password)
@jeffrey bankers Jerome has already replied you with a straight pointer. Go on, trust the cloud providers closed-sourced zero-knowledge encryption "guarantee". I would rather go with an open sourced encryption app.
@jeffrey bankers it is better. They use the same encryption techniques but that it really is e2e with zero knowledge is just a claim that cannot be checked. With cryptomator the checks can and have been performed by hundreds of developers that don't have any financial benefit of covering flaws. So simply better.
Wie auch immer: I really love to watch your videos. They are all very informative and useful! Thumbs up! 👍🏼👍🏼
Sir, Could you please explain the secret behind 5TB lifetime one drive storage and Google drive delas selling in sites like Aliexpress,Ebay etc , there is no such video on internet
These are basically scammers exploiting cloud service loopholes. They would subscribe for unlimited storage as a corporation and share the storage among buyers. You will lose your data as soon as they terminate the subscription, which they would typically do after ripping off enough people.

@@KrunoslavStifter If the service has a reputation, it is difficult for that to happen. However, absolute security does not exist in this reality. Your best NAS or HDD can be hacked or broken any day of these (as already happened) and goodbye data. Information stored in a nearby device does not make it eternal or completely private. We must look for the best balance and I think a good encrypted Cloud Service, plus a parallel Local Backup as is my case, achieves this quite well.
@@KrunoslavStifter A lot of that is what this video is about, I could add some others like Time and Reputation in the market, Security Practices, Innovative and Technical Expertise, Cost, Performance, Customer Support, Ease of Use, Features & Functionality, Multiplatform Support and especially Disaster Recovery… I recently recovered the entire disk thanks to the history function in the cloud, otherwise the Ransomware would have damaged my entire data.
Thanks for this video. This is one of the few safe cloud storage video's that doesn't look like it is made by someone with a tin foil hat on and manually unpluggs its camera and microphone when buying a phone.

Why no mention of separate encryption software like Boxcryptor or Cryptomator?
i made a similar comment on his earlier videos. He just ignored. Boomer mindset.
@jeffrey bankers If you dont hold the encryption keys, the files are not truly secured.

Excellent video. Can you share recommendations for cloud backup for NAS devices?
Is Boxcrytor and one drive would be a secure alternative?
Yes

Sounds like a scam if you ask me.
Don't trust anything to China.
