I loved the review and it’s been a challenge to find a mic that isolate external sounds. Mainly because the phones with this functionality are usually big headsets. This jabra one is more delicate and doesn’t look like the gamer ones. Is there any other earphone or headset that have this functionality a bit cheaper? If not I’ll go for this Jabra one.
Thank you for your review. I have been using this headset for about a year but was looking to see if anyone knows how to get the battery life to be audible again. I must've hit something and I no longer hear how much battery life I have left.
Longer battery life, newer Bluetooth, better mic noise cancellation, improved speakers, microphone that can hide into the headset, and USB-C charge port vs Micro USB. Those are the main differences to look at.
You test exactly what we want to know. But! There is one thing I would love to have tested if possible. I am a bike commuter like many people in the world and would be really interesting to see if it's possible to take phone calls while biking. How is wind noise affecting these Jabra headsets? Of course I only bike on dedicated bike roads doing this:) . I can give you input on qc35, works lot better than the average original wired headset for example iphone's. And when it comes to anc there is wind noise at level 1 and 3 but silent on 2, interesting!!
Thanks for your helpful and thorough review David. I feel the Jabra charging station does not live up to its price tag. I face frequent problems of running out of charge within a couple of hours of use although the headset was charging on the charging station all night. Have you heard of similar cases? How do you download the Jabra software?
You're welcome and thanks for watching! I have these at the office, and while the headphone sound, mic and most other features are good, it sometimes looses a second here and there from some sound sources. But what bothers me the most, is how they press/clamp on my ears (despite your experience). I much prefer the feel (and all other qualities) from the over/around-ear Bose Quietcomfort 35II that I have privately at home. Cons: 1. Takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to fully charged. 2. Although cushioning is comfortable and soft but I find my ears a bit sweaty after wearing it a long period of time. 3. Battery backup is about 6 to 7 hours for continuous use. 4. Mic does not move in both the directions so need to wear on right ear only. 5. Colour of charing cable is a bit odd. I'm interested in the Jabra Evolve 75. May I ask if there is any latency in the sidetone feature? I know you can listen to your device via windows settings but that has a lot of latency and unusable. Would like to know if there is little to no latency in the built in sidetone of this one. Also, if ever I forgot to charge it can I charge it while in call without the charging stand?
Hi Gilbert, there's no latency issue we're aware of with the sidetone built into the app for this headset. Yes, you can charge while on a call without the charging stand. The headset uses a standard micro USB charge port which is nice.
Hello. I compared the mic test in this video to your showdown video (Jabra vs Poly). Imo the mic sounds squeaky in this video and not so clear. In your showdown video (/watch?v=Dc25LzLZYd0), however, the mic provides more clear and consistent audio. Is this due to different settings, different headsets or what is the reason? Perhaps some mic DB setting?
@@HeadsetAdvisor No I'm saying the Jabra Evolve 75 microphone did not sound good in this video, while it did sound good in your showdown video. I'm guessing that is due to choice of mic settings in the headset?
@@henrikr5623 Ohh yes another subscriber pointed that out as well, so thanks for bringing it up as well. I think we had an issue with the microphone on this video and we may have to redo this video for the most accurate microphone test unfortunately.
Keep in mind, this is an older generation of wireless headset. Most of the new headsets out today will have Bluetooth 5.0 and the USB Dongle can be replaced if ever needed.
Very helpful review. What about the noise of the computer keyboard while typing? Will be filtered as well? Because the keyboard could be very noisy when typing fast and is really close to the microphone. People always complain about that with my current headset.
Hi Rafa, the microphone should help to reduce the keyboard typing as well. We've heard a lot of customers use this headset while they type and it works good to reduce the noise.
Do you mean pair? you'll press and hold the pairing/power button on the headset for 3-5 seconds then go to bluetooth settings on your phone. If your referring to the software search for Jabra in your app store.
We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
Sorry to report, my Jabra 75 headset has never functioned smoothly. It constantly needs to be reset. It can't handle being connected to more than one device at a time. One always interferes with the other. The sidetone is to low and it frequently needs resetting. I really like to be able to hear my own voice because it helps me monitor my own tone better. The Bluetooth will randomly connect to other devices all by itself. I have to remember to turn off those devices when I'm working. The last straw is that my 11 month old headset, under normal office use began to malfunction. The microphone boom arm must now be constantly readjusted in order for it to work. It has a crackling sound that can only mean it is starting to short out. I have seen postings about this so I know it's not a one off event. To be honest, this just happened and I have opened a trouble ticket with Jabra and I don't know how they'll handle it. I will update this post with what they do. If they do they right thing and send a replacement, I will let you all know... but to be honest, I am searching for a new daily driver. UPDATE: Jabra handled the issue by providing a replacement without any hassle at all. I had to follow a few easy steps, but they approved the replacement immediately. I just did this today, 30 December and I should receive the replacement in a few days. If I have any problems I will let you guys know. But so far, I think their customer support was outstanding.
I don't know what to do cus i've got two exact same headphones and they just keep disconnecting even tho they're updated and everything. the new one is worse than the old one.
Jabra doesnt provide support after a 1 or 2 y ear warranty period , even if its a recurring model defect inspite of the fact that u can buy a 100 sony headphones with the cost of a jabra one. Ths clearly reflects poor company values, why pay a brand price for such a company ?
I don’t think Sony provides support after warranty period either right? Price is different yes but there are other features Jabra headsets have and integrations with work software that bring some additional value.

I love your videos and finalized to buy Poly 4320,but got Evolve 75 from office.I haven't used any software ,audio is from mobile phone bluetooth pairing. When are you extending headset advisor support to Indian customers, you have got many users who rely on your reviews.
@@stkmobile2086 By chance did you order from an authorized dealer of the Evolve 75? There’s many counterfeits and you’d want to rule that out. Unfortunately there’s nothing else we can suggest because the mic noise cancellation is built in. There’s limitations to how much noise it can block out but unless you have some industrial type fan it should be reducing most of that noise.

Hi David! Thanks for this review. Does it connect to a desk phone or only mobile (via Bluetooth)?
You're welcome, thanks for watching! This headset is best for your mobile phone and computer, and wouldn't be recommended for a desk phone. For desk phone connection check out this headset to consider ua-cam.com/video/3bhIaH0sVwU/v-deo.html
@@HeadsetAdvisor Thanks for your reply! I think the clear option for me is actually the Plantronics Savi. I work in an open space with colleagues so the ANC/full headset is very important to me. As I understand, it can be connected to computer and desk phone? Great vid!
@@HeadsetAdvisor Thanks a lot for the confirmation!
What's the major difference between the 75 and the 75 se?

@HeadsetAdvisor thank you for the feedback
Is this headset compatible with teams ?
Hi Henrik, are you saying from your test the audio was more consistent in comparison to our video?
@@HeadsetAdvisor No I'm saying the Jabra Evolve 75 microphone did not sound good in this video, while it did sound good in your showdown video. I'm guessing that is due to choice of mic settings in the headset?
@@henrikr5623 Ohh yes another subscriber pointed that out as well, so thanks for bringing it up as well. I think we had an issue with the microphone on this video and we may have to redo this video for the most accurate microphone test unfortunately.
How 300 dollars headset can't give you Bluetooth 5.0 and can you replace a dongle if everything is done there
Keep in mind, this is an older generation of wireless headset.
How can I download my headphones to. M the. Cell
Do you mean pair? you'll press and hold the pairing/power button on the headset for 3-5 seconds then go to bluetooth settings on your phone. If your referring to the software search for Jabra in your app store.
When I play music via mobilewith high volume . Sound is coming out.
Coming out of the speakers of the headset?
@@HeadsetAdvisor yes
Is it compatible with android ?
Hi Akash, yes it's compatible.
Sorry to hear that I hope Jaba’s able to find a fix. Here’s another model to consider for a new daily driver ua-cam.com/video/2y5tTOAzmUI/v-deo.html
@@HeadsetAdvisor Thanks for the response, can I ask how the side tone works on the Orosound? I need to have more control over that volume level.
@@RecklessG1 sidetone can be adjusted within the Orosound Link app. You have 6db levels of adjustment.
it's a really good headset, but oh god it keeps disconnecting from my computer and i'm using usb cable for it. the cable is sooo unstable
Hi Christina, that doesn't sound normal. By chance have you updated the headset in Jabra Direct? www.jabra.com/software-and-services/jabra-direct
I don't know what to do cus i've got two exact same headphones and they just keep disconnecting even tho they're updated and everything. the new one is worse than the old one.
@@christinaa2183 Which apps are you using on the computer?
Jabra doesnt provide support after a 1 or 2 y ear warranty period , even if its a recurring model defect inspite of the fact that u can buy a 100 sony headphones with the cost of a jabra one. Ths clearly reflects poor company values, why pay a brand price for such a company ?
I don’t think Sony provides support after warranty period either right? Price is different yes but there are other features Jabra headsets have and integrations with work software that bring some additional value.
@@HeadsetAdvisor if I knew I could use it for only 2 years, I wouldn't pay a quarter of what I did to buy a jabra headset
is it just me or is the mic quality horrible lol I feel gaslit
Ya it doesn't perform the best but many of the new headsets perform better like the Jabra Evolve2 55 headsetadvisor.com/products/jabra-evolve2-55-stereo-headset-wireless-bluetooth-headset?_pos=5&_sid=7144247f4&_ss=r
is it me, or do the mic on these sound awful?! For almost 300 bucks that's what you get??
Unfortunately on this video we don't believe it's the headset. It's the way we recorded it so we are going to have to redo this.
I bought the headset, after watching this review. The quality of microphone in super bad. It's capturing all the noise from outside. I wonder how the mixer grinder noise was not captured during recording via mic. The review seems to be fake.
Hi Rajesh, sorry to hear your experience. Making a fake video would go against our mission of bringing honest in depth headset reviews, and would be a disservice to our customers and subscribers. If you read anywhere online, you’ll know that’s not the company we are because our reputation is everything to us.
Which device and app are you connecting the headset to? There may be an adjustment that can be made.
@@HeadsetAdvisor Hi David,Similar to Rajesh's comment ,I experienced mic is capturing ceiling fan noise and in most of my meetings people ask me if am I driving and talking ,because there is a constant air noise .I tried by enabling ANC and without ANC ,but no luck ,mic seems to be capturing noise. Any suggestions ?
So kuch more expensive than jabra evolve 40 and the mic quality is soooo much worse….
Thanks for watching! It's not a fair comparison because the Evolve 75 is wireless and the Evolve 40 is wired, so they're really for two different types of needs. That bieng said, you think the mic on the Evolve 40 sounds night and day better then the Evolve 75?
Don't translate the name video! Dislike.
Huh? Not following here. 🤔
