After cutting these to the ground four times this summer because I was trying to get rid of them in their current spot, I decided they really wanted to live and I moved them to my backyard. I’m glad I did they are very pretty lol
they will die in a summer direct sunlight in Zone 5 or higher ,I am in Zone 5B or 6 , they don't like dry sandy soil , if you grow in sun , the soil should be moist all the time and provide afternoon shade , or it will turn black and dry out .and more sun the foliage wont turn out good .
I'm so excited to find your channel! We just moved to the area, so I'm following to find what my garden can show off!

Yay! Persistent and pretty! I'm so glad you found a home for them!
What is the plant to the left?
The plant to the left of the Brunnera is Euphorbia martinii - another one of my favorites :)
Euphorbia (spurge )
can these be grown in pots?
Yes! They are great in pots - especially in the shade.
They often reseed by themselves. You could also dig it up in the fall and divide it into smaller plants.

What if you have these is full sun?
They need a little more water in the sun here in Seattle and sometimes the leaves burn a little. I pull my burned leaves off and it does ok.
