Such a pretty color combination! It is so helpful to see the side by sides with different mediums. I am planning do dinner a bloom with students I work with in an alternative high school so they have holiday gifts for loved ones.
It's a very helpful video tutorial and it's beautiful. I would rank it to my personal preference which is the first is the Australian floetrol, the second will be the US floetrol and last ( the third )will be the one with the pre-stain wood conditioner. Let me know your preference please if you don't mind 😊
Thanks so much!!! I’ve been hearing about Australian Floetrol for a while now and really appreciate the side by side by side :). Only thing is, I can’t pick a fav after watching twice- guess I’ll watch again lol. And yes, I’d love to see the mix of US and AU 👍
Lovely tutorial my favourite is Australian floetrol BUT why does Amsterdam paint seem to be the only paint to use. Are there any other brands that work Thankyou
Yes! I would like to see you do a tile with 50/50 Aussie Floetrol &U.S. Floetrol. If it works well, that combination would, indeed., be a better lower cost mix for a cell activator.Thank you so much for doing these tests and sharing the results with the rest of " us painting fools " !!! Brenda from Northern California. 🥰🤩🤗🙃🙂
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE EXPERIMENT, I LIKE THE ONE WITH THE WOOD CONDITIONER, AND YOUR EXPERIMENT MADE ME THINK ABOUT THE INGRIDIENTS OR COMPONENTS OF THE 3 MATERIALS YOU USED, SO IF WE KNOW THAT, WE'LL SEE THE DIFFERENCES AND THEN WE CAN ADD THE RIGHT COMPONENT TO OUR CELL ACTIVATOR, CAN'T WE? IS JUST AN IDEA. YOUR WORK IS WONDERFUL. MY BEST WISHES, GREETINGS AND BLESSINGS FROM 🇲🇩.
I am a new subscriber and this video is why I subscribed! I like #1 the best something about the colors seems sharper and more true thank you 🙏 awesome video and great information!!! 🥰🙏💗
Appreciate the brevity of the video and focus on the tile.along with the comparison of activators. I'm going another direction with multiple layers and color-shifting paints but skipped the basics to pouring and this was great. (Not going to have to purchase the Aussie Flotrol since I have three American ones that I got for free and they do fine🏴☠)
Wow, I'm impressed with how little of an amount of paint you used with the pm and how effective it was, for some reason i was thinking it would take a lot more then just a lil dabble off the stir stick
This the first time watching one of your videos. I'm looking for ways to make cells in my paint pours. I'm very very new to this ,just going for it. I don't really have money to go out and buy chemicals. Is there anything at home that would be suited to use to activate cells? Btw, I like the first one you did of the three. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I appreciate this video very much.
Hi. Thank you. I know some people have used dawn dish soap. It never worked for me but I didn’t really use it much. Try searching videos with this dawn dish soap cells 😃
I found there are 2 minwax prestain wood conditioners. One is for oil and is in the red can. The other is water based. Which is the correct one to use...oil or water? Thanks so much. I've really enjoyed watching this and have learned alot!
What do you use as a spinner and how do you stop the tile from flying off? Where did you put the wood conditioner and why? They are all very pretty and nice colours too. Thank you for sharing.
Hi. Thanks for watching. 😃 In many of my videos I explain how I put a small amount of paint down then stick my tile in that. You may also try double sided tape. The spinner I use can be purchased on Amazon here Kootek Aluminium Alloy Revolving Cake Stand 12 Inch Rotating Cake Turntable for Cake, Cupcake Decorating Supplies www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z7XMQP4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_5EN17MKX0EB5EMEQWXEH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
So beautiful, all three, thanks for sharing. Maybe a stupid question (I am completely new in the pouring process), but the colored paints are just paint or did you add something else in?
Hi. Nope! Just clean your piece with isopropyl alcohol before applying resin to remove any dust and oils from hands etc. make sure paint is fully cured before applying resin as well 😃
@@LoriMcKinnonArt I am confused about the different types of measurements. I use grams. I’ll convert but can you go over it here? I’m not good with numbers. Thank you!!

Lovely tutorial my favourite is Australian floetrol BUT why does Amsterdam paint seem to be the only paint to use. Are there any other brands that work Thankyou
Thank you 😃 I do not know exactly why that is, there’s just something in the paint that reacts with the Floetrol
Love the Australian floetrol best.
