- I'm a collage artist who loves to work with vintage ephemera and vintage inspired papers in my art. ❤️ journal with me as part of the awesome Meg’s Junk Journal July challenge where I work on making two sides of a postcard for my junk journal.
I love creating collaged postcards, and loved this opportunity to show you how I take vintage papers, in the theme that I used for creating my junk journal, and then use them to make a unique postcard.
The best part of this collage postcard is that you get to mail it to yourself! Once you receive it back, include it in any fold or tuck spot in your junk journal.

Margarite, when I did the Valentine's postcards for my grandchildren, I also made one for my husband. It came though the mail perfect. Only one person reported damage.
It was so much fun that I did it again for Easter. Love the idea's that you share with us.

Fabulous postcard! Perfect in every way. Love the idea of mailing it to yourself, but I am so afraid that the process may damage the beautiful collage. Hope it comes back to you in perfect condition.
You can always place it in an envelope, but that kind of defeats the purpose. Just experiment and see what happens 💚

As long as your address is really clear, it doesn't matter what else you've got on there. That's been my experience, anyway. 💙

How cool is your book with the unused postagestamps! Sadly in germany we are not allowed to use stamps before 2002
Really? There's such a law?! Wow. So that means they are not valid, but you could still put them on. Just make sure you have enough regular postage. Use them up if you have them. 💚
@@MargareteMiller 2002 the money changed from DM to Euro. So you couldn't use the DM-Stamps anymore. You also can't get older stamps an where, just used ones.
I love the postcard idea. I didn’t know you could send them in the mail. Also, when do the 2024 prompts come out for the new Margarete Miller challenge?
The 2024 prompts come out at the end of this year. Probably Nov/Dec. Thanks for asking!
