man, i found snesque years ago on soundcloud but then kinda forgot about it as i stopped using the app. then i think, “wait, what was that amazing SNES soundfont album i heard before?” god damn, another ones come out! and it’s just as good if not better than the first!! being able to tell which games soundfont you’re referencing without even reading the title was an absolute joy 😆 amazing work!
This is the first music album I’ve really been preemptively excited for in my life. In some places I feel like it could’ve been done differently, but you could say that about anything. The last song surprised me a bit to be honest but I can appreciate it. But as it stands: the cover art? Gold. The tracks? I’d say they lived up to my expectations. (They were pretty high for the record.) Most importantly, I can jam to this. S’good.
When it got to A Rash Decision I surprised. I recognized it but it took a second for me to remember where I'd heard it. Good song! (And album, of course.) Wait is that last song being sung by the Genie from Aladdin? That makes sense in my head at least.
You just saved 2020! Another incredible album; we just listened to this 2x thru. The Mario Paint, Earthworm Jim, and BoFII sounds you used were hitting the nostalgia spot. We're filming again this week and would love to collab again ✌️
