* ANNOUNCEMENT*
Paul at Moonraker has just informed me he is offering the HEATED seat the HEATED grips AND the engine BARS for £510 all including fitting! Call 01603 623601 to take advantage of this offer!
Thanks for the review, very informative 👍
Thanks Chris
What a great review Nick, definitely have to take one of these for a ride at the end of May and will see how I get on. Guess will have to see what the long term ownership is like with these. Fingers crossed.
Yeah you'll be pleasantly surprised!
Great review and a good looking bike. In two years I've never noticed before that you don't pronounce your 't's !
Best wishes to Jo in her new Job role.
im an essex boy you know lol
Nice. The 502 TRK is popular in NZ 🇳🇿 where we have alot of gravel roads & the 702 TRK has been eagerly awaited for that extra hp & Nm.They are fully loaded bikes with a great price.
Did you farted🌬️,you stinker😂
Lol, no, I didn't flatulate. It was a sound effect....honest. this 702 X, though, its hitting the right notes.
@@nicksepisode I heard you strain
😫🌬️
😁😆😂🤣.
Hahahaha!
Great review nick an awesome bike at a bargain price.
Isnt it just what we need in todays current financial crisis !
Zontes have had back-lit controls for a couple of years, it really does improve night riding.
What a great idea! Zontes, I must try one!
@@nicksepisode I had a 2022 zontes gk125 zt (?). Best bike I've ever owned. Did a nearly 3000 mile trip from Shetland to Somerset and back via Cumbria and Wales, fully packed with camping stuff. Not a problem. Comfortable and economical. Over 300 miles to a tank.
Can you please provide a link to buy the inside net/ liner for the top box? Those are not factory and they set is perfect. Thanks
They come with benelli panniers
@@nicksepisode hmm sadly they do not, must be something your dealership is doing (also the backrest isn’t standard.
@perovic96 ill ask Paul and get back to you
My only concern as I was looking at buying a 702x... is the service intervals are every 3000 miles.. I thought for a tourer was pretty poor
Really? I can’t believe I over looked this. That’s not ideal
I got lost how was the height reduced. Or was it just another seat for £50 ? Otherwise i would have thought £50 was just the Labour.
Sorry the 50 was for the labour. This procedure lowers the seat height by 5mm
That is a lot of bike for the money especially with the boxes 👍
Isn't it just !
Looks like you get alot of bike for your money there. Perfect budget bike for traveling the TET all over Europe.
Yes Im very tempted!
@@nicksepisode Well, tou know, it's almost time for an "oil change" on your monkey. 😂
I bought a Benelli TNT for the DGR, was reluctant and didn’t expect much but it’s actually quite a nice thing and I certainly agree that the quality of Chinese bikes has dramatically improved of late.
Those TNT's are a bargain! compared to a Grom too, not too dissimilar
I doubt if the price includes the £117 road tax or the registration with d.v.l.a
Yeah it comes with 6 momths road tax. The price also includes VAT
@@nicksepisode that's good I've bought 3 brand new bikes. I've always had to pay registration fee and VED on the invoice.
@chrishart8548 the dealer pays it though
@@nicksepisode that's great. I would of always assumed the price included vat anyway that would be crazy otherwise. Vat really adds a lot..
Some dealers can be crafty and advertise the price in bold without vat and a small print saying plus vat
9:13 🤣
It was an accident 🙊
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 ....... How ever : CC ?? no ? The center stand looked. somewhat, hanging down ?..... The wind shield - is a "phenomenal" one 😆..... BUT looks like you've skipped the most important part - that "camel toe" foot of the side-stand 😀
And - are the wheels tubeless ?
I’m glad you’ve noticed this. I purposely didn’t roll off the specs, because let’s face it, you look them up if you are that extra step into buying one. Not everyone wants to hear some UA-camr rolling off figures. It’s my approach to reviews, they’re plenty of other reviewers out there that get all technical with you. The cc is in the name, I think the most important part is the seat height ! The rest is how the bike makes you feel and I think that out weighs anything written in black and white. The tyres are tubed, unfortunately a tubeless set up will add to the over cost. I personally don’t mind if a tyre is tubed so I don’t think that should be a deal breaker.
I’ll take your feedback on board though.
Cheers Mr Waves

Corrert - to watch how the moto vloggers read all the specs ( some do ), is not always interesting, but the most important stuff like the electronics, suspension, service intervals, front light, wind prot., riding pos, handling..... yes, those are more needed. If one has bought a good emergency service - tubeless is, probably, not an issue, but if not - fixing a flat "on the go", can be a pain in the ass 🤷🏻♂️ And generally, with todays' tech, the Cruise Contr. should be on every bike. Many of us - over 45 - do get numb throttle hand, which, also presses the front brake ! - so it is a safety feature too.
The bikes from manufuckturers that STINGE CC out - not 4 me 🤢
@sandwaves5642 thanks for your feedback its really appreciated 👍
