My fav video of yours. I love the greyman idea and practices. We can't know enough about it. This video is in my opinion the next step if need be. Sometimes ya gotta just disappear and start over somewhere else for some reason. People do this and I understand why they do it. But I do love the grey man and the disappear subjects. Wish I had more places to read up on the subjects.

Another great video and as you said just disappear without a trace is soemthing you don´t do over one night. And it takes a lot of planning to and you need to have a plan b,c,d etc if your main plan does not work. Sure change your appearance work as well like change the hair color and change the hair cut and if you don´t wear glasses buy fake ones with window glass and add a beard if you don´t have it or shave if you have. But there will be one thing that can be a problem and that is if you have tattoes it can be difficult to hide if you have them on a place on your body like your head and hands and the neck. And as you said use cash is the best and keep the digital communication as low as possible. Debit cards are easy to track when you use them and the government can see exactly what you have bought wich store you bought it. So minimize the dfigital footprint to a minimum is a good thing to do and you need to have saved a lot of money if you plan to dissappear without a trace. Hey Shadow Scout, you nailed it-disappearing without a trace is definitely not something you can pull off overnight. Having backup plans (and backup plans for those backups!) is absolutely key. The appearance changes you mentioned are spot on, and tattoos can be a real challenge, especially if they're visible. Cash over cards and keeping your digital footprint to a minimum is a must for staying off the radar. Good info as a just in case. I hope I never have to do something like that, but I have considered the possibility of it some day. I have thought of most of this before as a just in case. And have even picked a fake name, that I practice in my head, just in case. Infact it might be beneficial to have more than one picked out, incase you need to move more than once. If my mother and father were aging, I would would spend 5 years learning to leave off the land and learn hunting techniques. I would instantly give up all forms of social media to start, and slowly worl everything else as tike permits. I would still check on my family without them knowing it. But I am not in a position to disappear
That’s a thoughtful plan, 1982! Learning to live off the land and hunt is such a valuable skill set, and stepping back from social media would give you the time and focus to prepare. It’s great that you’d still check on your family, even from a distance. How’s life been treating you lately?
