    My 2006 Victory Hammer 100ci Stage 1 RPW Slash Exhaust, Power Commander 5, and K&N Filter put down 80 hp and 103 lb ft at the wheel. Bike sounded awesome, great video.

    I vote this number 1 best looking meanstreak!

    What rear fender is that? I love the look.

    Those numbers seem about right, you won't see much more even with a optimal tune.

    Your fender is a nice improvement over stock imo.

    My 2005 (1600), stock Dyno @ 65 hp/72 ft. lbs. tq, but with the big 3: Vance and Hines Big Shots (2 into 1 into 2), Power Commander ll, and Barons Big Air Kit, dyno'd at 73 hp/94 ft. lbs. trq...and that was with a not perfect map i downloaded from a Vulcan site. You may need to experiment w maps, but those numbers are way off for what you've done. you should get around 20% gains.

      Yea the bike also has aftermarket cams. The dyno guy said the software seemed to be running 30 horse low due to the heat that day (101 plus). I should be around around 95 with my mods

      @@jeremysgarage498 oh, you did the cams? Nice. I read about those for the Meanie in an article in MC Mag back in the day, lol (2004). To max the performance with those a nice 2 into 1 Sidewinder was the preferred pipe. 84k trouble free miles on my Meanie. Love that rear fender, looks great.

      Ya once you Change internal parts you need a quality runner to fine tune it my Raider that has a D&D intake & cobra exhaust I've been researching different tunes and the best tune other then being professionally done is Ivan's tune those programming set ups are constantly causing issues

    On a big v-twin with shaft drive 65 at the rear wheel is pretty good for a Meanie with only external engine mods. Assuming 15% loss through the driveshaft and transmission means it could produce 75 hp or more at the crank.

      @3613jeremy 2 роки тому

      I've been told drive shafts drop around 20-25% where belt is 10-15% and chain drive being 5-10% of total power loss from crank

      Greetings, interesting info on the parasitic loss of final drives. Which I thought the use of a shaft drive didn't make any sense on a power cruiser like the Meanie. Yes, it maybe smoother, but shafts still require maintenance. Reinforced belts would have been lighter and just as easy to maintain if not easier. Strange though, Kawi use belt drives on some of their larger displacement models.
      Thanx again

    Is this a 1500 or 1600? What were the results of the Dyno run(s)?

    65 seems close to target for these, they only sound like 80hp ^^

    I was told a my bike (2007 Meanstreak) couldn't be tuned. Where are you located?

    • @jeremysgarage498
      @jeremysgarage498  3 роки тому +1

      It can absolutely be tuned with a power commander 3. I'm located in Louisville.

  • @pulvil29
    @pulvil29 Рік тому

    my 1500 was running power commander and hypercharger and was dyno'd at 90bhp

    • @jeremysgarage498
      @jeremysgarage498  Рік тому

      That definitely sounds more accurate of where mine should have been. I also was told the dyno was running 30hp low due to extreme heat that day.

    • @andyvanherwynen4866
      @andyvanherwynen4866 8 місяців тому

      If that was measured 90hp at the rear wheel means 103.5hp at the crank. No VN1600 will do that without some internal engine mods, like higher compression near 10.5:1. Some heads porting. Maybe even a hotter cam than is stock in a Meanstreak. 90hp at the crank for the VN1600 without internal engine mods is a LOT if gain, unless you're pumping a lot more gas and air into the engine.
