- Walk around of my 2006 Kawaski Mean Streak Motorcycle. I fitted it with a fire breathing Hypercharger. Turned out to be a pretty wicked upgrade. Subscribe my page and join Project Whitetail Muscle.

I know it's an old video...but for whoever is reading this: this is a way too low idle. It will damage the engine because of the oil pressure too low and not fully circulating on all the parts inside. Idle should be around 900-1000 rpm. It's not a harley. Cheers!
Indeed. This is not a Harley Shovelhead engine, this low idle is bad for the bike.
Yuup!
Don't throw away all the old man stuff, this bike will still be going when your one
Looks great! Get yourself a Cobra tuner. ( Or similar) With the intake and pipes your starving the bike. I promise you will not regret it.
Hahaaaaaaahahahah! If you were all about "commuting" you'd have bought a Honda Ruckus or something, LMAO!
Face it boy, the only reason you 'commute' around campus on that beast is to watch the panties come flying off ever time you rumble by! And being the proud owner of a Honda VTX1800 myself- i don't blame you one single bit! Hahahahaha!
Ride safe!
Nobody actually cares.... especially girls, that you have a loud bike
There have NEVER been ANY panties flying off if you ride a Honda VTX!! Douche
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@jacobsanchez1952 all the guys not getting laid all sound the same.
I have a vtx 1800 myself and damn that mother is loud lol
I had a bike in college (early 90's). Definitely good for dates, lol!
Man that exhaust roars like a Lion.
Good lookin bike man. Love my meanie!
That's a Sweet bike Bro! I luv it!!!
Congrats your bike looks amazing!
Good job bro, be blessed stay put and focus
Looks good bro nice touches .
great ride!!!! Awesome video!!!
Looks great man. What did you use to lower it? I have an 02 but can't find the link to lower it. Where'd You Get yours? Thanks for your help.
You seem like a pretty cool dude
Very nice bike...class👌
His mods look great, but one thing I can tell you from owning that bike and hypercharger, don't ever expect to be able to use the rear brake. The hypercharger makes it very hard to reach the rear brake which you only usually use in the case of emergency.
Jim Rothe yeah I have this issue on mine and it also makes riding painful for long trips. Can't get comfortable with right leg.
I only use the rear brake and front for emergency. you can lock up the rear and still steer the bike. if you lock up the front your done
You get used to it.
Get rid of the round headlight. It needs a phantom headlight, mustang seat, floorboards, power commander and stylish smaller windshield
What u use for lights inside hyperCharger
How did u set the lights up what did u use how what where when
Where did you get the front guard
What integrated tail light is that? Bike looks good
Is it really good for small town commuting?
Where did you find the air suspension
What model is the kuryakin sir intake? Where can I buy one?
you have a link to the shocks?
Bad ass!
How low is it?
What's on the forks ? Anyone know ?
Lmfao great for first dates. Don't ride public transportation to school! This looks way cooler...... Man has a point.
How did you stick the LEDs in the hyper charger?
Max Butler the lights I bought came as a strip with adhesive on the back. Peel and stick. Take the outside cover of hyper charger off, thread the wire from the light through the backside, make sure the metal on the charger is clean, then stick it down. I did two, one on the outside plate and one on the inside. Ran it back to a switch so I can turn it on and off Easy
What did you black out your forks with?
I wrapped them with black exhaust tape/warps. Wear gloves because the fiberglass with hurt your fingers. Zip tied the ends
👍
Did you seriously just call a Mean Steeak an old man bike? SMDH
Everything you saying can be right except one thing: fuel efficiency.
You are so young, please drive safe.
Older video I know. But, guys need to stop lugging your Vulcans... Buy a Harley if you want that sound... Vulcans should be idling higher... Yes, I own a Vulcan, yes the prior owner of my bike did the same thing... Thing needs to be idling around a G
What do you suggest on changing it mine sounds just like his and wouldn’t mind it sounding better
@@jessehay-smith2472 I believe the MOM says about 700-1000 RPM range for idle, and 850-950RPM is a sweet spot from what I've been told by many meanie owners
Adjust your idle
That thing is running way too lean
Thought the same thing soon as he fired it up lmao, thought it was struggling to start and quickly realized it was just fucked.
Sounds like shit at idle. These bikes are not meant to idle that low. Looks good though.
Slow idle
Looks good but sounds bad
