This song is track 11 from the album Caribbean Folk Songs by La Petit Musicale, SANCH CD0104, which I recorded on Sunday, September 24th, 2000 and Sunday, 25th March 2001 at the auditorium of the Learning Resource Centre (LRC), the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad.
The LRC is an ultra-modern facility located just north of the main library. It was formally commissioned on November 6th 1996. State-of-the-art electronic audio/visual equipment enhance the 400-seat air-conditioned space making it ideally suited as a venue for workshops, concerts, plays and other special events. The architectural design produces rich sound responses that make the venue a particularly interesting space for recording small ensembles.
