Cissy and Werner, I love watching your adventure/videos! Cissy, you’re such an inspiration to me being a fairly new rider myself with a new KTM 390 Adventure (got it last Saturday) also, I just wish I was as tall as you 😊 My husband also has a KTM 390 that he got last year but he’s been riding for several years and also has a larger bike. Safe travels to you both on your adventure 😊
First off! Super Congrats on your KTM 390 Adventure! We hope you have amazing adventures of your own on your bike! They are amazing! We are very happy that you enjoy our adventures! And we love that you ride along on the journey! Haha! I am actually not very tall 1.69m but have short legs 🙈 tippy toe the bike but learned to use one foot at a time. So awesome that you and your husband ride together! We love it when other couples also ride together - go have adventures together and make memories! Good luck on your riding and enjoy your bike! Have you given your bike a name yet? 😁
Hi guys, yes we use a Garmin Montana 700i as our GPS. But creating our routes we use a bunch of diffirent apps and paper maps. We do use T4A but as great as it is it is not always the best. We see it as a great tool in the toolbox. The best way still is a very large papermap to get the rough route and then we sit and plan the roads with T4A, Google Maps, Google Earth (if we have good signal) OSMAnd Maps, MapsMe, iOverlander and our best tool Garmin Explore. We use TopoActive maps on Garmin Explore. But all of them are a bit diffirent and some have roads that others dont. But our honest opinion is a good old fashioned detailed paper map with Garmin Explore is the best combo. 👍 hope that helps.
Thank you for such a comprehensive answer. We will definitely look all the detail you mentioned. We hope you have safe travels and enjoy making memories 😊

Hi Guys, we just love your videos 🤗. We were just wondering...we see you use a gps, do you use tracks for africa to navigate all the gravel roads?
