Omg! 1-3 weeks to go just 43 miles. Where I live we do it in 45 minutes. I pay for these tough and resilient people. May they have good health and happiness!!
right? I just drove 300 miles in 6 hours over mountains and all. It was nothing compared to this. At work I fuel and grease heavy machinery in remote locations, I have fun driving the muddy roads but what I do is a joke compared to this.
Hard work and conditions like that makes these people unbelievably strong, both physically and mentally. Look at these guys. They look all muscly and healthy.
My eyes are filled with tears by looking their conditions of living and May God ease their sufferings and and makes their life easir. We thought our life is bad but in compared to them they are dreaming to live a life like us. These people are honest, brave and Very grounded to earth...hats off to them
hmmm, I appriciate your empathie but afterall who says these people are not happy. from my perspective apart from the mining village, congolese people live sometimes a very fullfilled life full of real relationships. I am certainly more isolated than that village living in zürich.
The Congolese are happy yes but as a result of resignation and adaptation to condition you have no control over. The world should move at a pace set by modern standards but many who still scramble for the resources in the congo can not allow a change in this country
they remind me of the kind of kid at school who always works for hours for each exam and gets mediocre grades. It is just not there. Inefficiency of this scale is painful to watch.
This is the hight of human evilness you’re watching. Congo supplies the America and Europe resources but no one out of grateful heart wants to help them. We are all selfish
I have not known too much about Congo but heard this is more beautiful and rich in natural beauty .. hope this country will be developed and people will be happily living

Fantastic documentary. It's much better if you understand swahili even with minor regional differences you get more context as quite a bit is getting lost in translation. But great job filming this.
This is translation and narrating, it may not be the same but interesting on the side of narrating. Keep up the good work I like the way he narrates these documentaries, he tops all who narrates these documentaries. He is great 💪 ❤️
The translation is not really 100% true in different points. For instance at 4:38 ("Oh God, what a disaster"), in reality the guy was saying:"Kwende mbele" the meaning in english is "Going forward".

Junior is such a resilient, tough, and determinant driver, a hero in the whole journey
Kudos to junior
he has the cleanest educated french by far. PHD driver
in Congo, the very few are extremely rich and the majority are very poor. But the time I spent in Drc taught me to appreciate life and I fell in love with that country.
Swahili music is very pleasant...
the truth is Congo is the kind of place, that if you shed your blood for it, I'd feel extremely bad for you
I salute to all hard working citizens of Congo... God bless them with good health and good food through out the year
that man said, "it's not a country for living it's a country for suffering". I nearly feel out of my seat. Homie is keeping it 100%.
We complain in life about small things but great respect to these people for what they are facing is really unimaginable
I am touched when the guy said Congo is not a country for living, it's a country for suffering.
But they don't believe in using birth control.
He also said "it's better to leave this country".
They're in middle of the rainforest where humans don't really belong. Sadly, life is inevitably going to be super tough.
Here in Qatar 🇶🇦 and i have ever used those roads in DRC just 3yrs back thank u very much 👏 dia respect ✍️✍️✍️✍️✍️

Honest and hard working! God bless these hard working men.
they remind me of the kind of kid at school who always works for hours for each exam and gets mediocre grades. It is just not there. Inefficiency of this scale is painful to watch.
A lot of respect for these people and the daily struggles that they face 😢
This is the hight of human evilness you’re watching. Congo supplies the America and Europe resources but no one out of grateful heart wants to help them. We are all selfish
I have not known too much about Congo but heard this is more beautiful and rich in natural beauty .. hope this country will be developed and people will be happily living
They will not develop cos then their mineral resources could not be robbed by western countries loke french and brits.
They're much happier than you dude. Relax.
the god of development will one day bless them
Aku berharap anak cucu kita mendapatkan kehidupan yang lebih baik di masa depan. Semangat pejuang kongo. Spread love from Indonesia
I was traveling through the Congo, using different methods, walking through the jungles with water up to our waist and loaded with backpacks and bags. I know what those conditions are and this video reminded me. Exceptional document, congratulations.

Wowwww, insane, watching this videos i get to appreciate the good life I'm having here in miami as an uber driver..!..people complaining sbout how bad life is here in the U.S,need to watch this kind of videos..!
yeah
The homeless people in the us eat better than these people. Our standard of being “poor” would be extreme wealth to these people. Its crazy how perspective changes everything.
Después de ver este documental mi vida es otra ellos si sufren pero le sonríen a la vida aka en USA tenemos todo a la mano y todavía nos quejamos Dios bendiga a toda esa gente en especial a los niños 😊
Reminds me of when I was a youngster lol, riding in the back of the truck full of cattle. You couldn’t get me to ride in the cab. 🙏🏼♥️to our brother’s.
Grateful for absolutely every small thing, big things and everything in my life! Kudos to the entire documentary team. These people have probably the toughest life to live and still keep going. Hats off!! Huge respect and love
Such a very very challenging journey. I admire these dedicated guys for their work hard in transporting the basic goods to the remote villages with lack appropriate infrastructures. God bless you all brother....
Y know there are ric people living. In this country. And. No one. Help. They parting to god to help and never come

@@yustomwaisomania2587 Nobody said anything about your county get out your feelings. The Congo is the jungle and most people couldn't survive a week in it.

Thank you for bringing World the story of the forgotten people of the Congo. More and more we are starting to see the corruption and disregard for human life in this country.
The Congo is a hellhole and has always been, talk about a cursed land

Human resilience is awe-inspiring. Even in the face of impossible odds, (by their own admission), they’re able to keep the local maternity clinic busy. Because nothing helps such a situation better than prayer and kids.
Maybe they should only have kids they can afford to raise and all the praying in the world hasn’t helped them one bit…
They will never make progress.

Ok mas
i know this region . Tears come in my eyes while watching. I wish them courage and may the almighty have pity on them.
why? they are having a lot of fun. They literally live in paradise.
Reminds me how fortunate I really am. Even dealing with hardcore addiction like I have, I’m still so much better off than so many people out there. I have nothing but respect for these truckers and Congolese
I d still prefer this over beeing hardcore addicted. I am sorry for your circumstances but honestly. I rather struggle like they do everyday over becoming depressed in a "modern" society.
There is no worse than addiction
Hard to imagine those roads they are on and the lives they live, respect to all the people struggling to survive and hope everything's getting better.
yeah, 43 mile for 9 days, ..
Its even getting worse. they have a broken government
wish they could unlock the blueprints for roads already man. the RNG is screwing them over
Wow these people are legendary. Their ingenuity is unbelievable.
Excellent video. Thank you for sharing this part of the world with the rest of the world.
Appreciate this documentary 🙏
And I'm really really sorry about those people who struggling this thing.

I and my fellow country people ( South Africans) will not live a week in this country, you guys are tough.
You probably can.. there are millions of people who think likewise in your country.
This was one of the most depressing things I've ever seen. Absolutely insane. People deserve better.
Gives new meaning to the old phrase 40 miles of bad road. Such misery these people are subjected to for the pittance that they earn I can't even imagine. Good video.
All my respect for the people of Congo, they show his daily fight to live, saludos desde 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
Looking at them, I remember that incident in India when one man built a road through a mountain...
Or how another person in Africa planted a whole forest himself!!
And many other examples when people start working FOR THEMSELVES! and get great results!
Why don't all the villagers want to get together and build a good road for themselves!!!????
NO! They are waiting for someone to come and do it for them, and INSTEAD OF THEM!!
Until they change themselves!! - And they will not change the structure of their society! - they will be doomed to live in poverty and all this shit!
I don't feel sorry for them!!!
hopefully born in the jungle in your next life
This is too harsh
@@sleepmnan22sleepman50same with my country Haiti. People protest for not change the country themselves but they protest for change from other countries. If everyone in the country stand still and build a road then plant trees then surely in 10 years things would change for them.
it shouldn't be too difficult to build and maintain roads with such hardworking, resilient people
Thank u for sharing this amazing doc. 👏👏👏New sub here🙋🙋🙋
Your journey is truly extraordinary. The driver's persistence in passing this road is transportation's struggle to facilitate the distribution of goods belonging to the community.
Roads like this are rarely found in my country, of course because the government really pays attention to them.
This video was a year ago, hopefully it will be good now.
The roads only gets worse with time. I live in Eswatini and I can attest to that fact. Nothing ever gets better.
Great work by congo people....In Pakistan we also face some problems like vehicles stucked in mud, No transport, terrorism, poverty and sufferings.....
Life is beyond android and ios. One of the finest documentary I ever come across. Despite the unfavorable conditions and uncertainties surrounded I really like the courage and efforts of these people to overcome the obstacles the hope that keep their spirit going and find the way to reach to the destination. The German truck is so strong that it can withstand any road challenge. Good Documentary by the way.
Congo just got a vibe to the journeys i have watched on them. So memorable and deep.
A good documentary. What initially started out as a casual 5 minutes view got my attention as the story unfolds. Glad i stayed till the end.
Only two things linger on after watching this:
one - Thanking God for the Blessings which we took for granted.
Two - a genuine wish that their situation would be improved and to get that road made so they dont suffer like this.
After watching this i have decided not to complain about my life! hope people of Shabunda! will have better future one day!

Thanks so much for documenting this incredible story of resilience, resourcefulness and plight. Really well done. Helpful for those of us that haven't a clue except for distant news stories.
Pero, por qué viven en aquel remoto lugar?
I'm only watching but can hardly bear the stress, can't imagine the suffering of these poor people 😭
Fantastic documentary. It's much better if you understand swahili even with minor regional differences you get more context as quite a bit is getting lost in translation. But great job filming this.
swahili my foot.. Swahili is for east africa... i hate the language.... all south africa hate it
This is translation and narrating, it may not be the same but interesting on the side of narrating.
Keep up the good work I like the way he narrates these documentaries, he tops all who narrates these documentaries.
He is great 💪 ❤️
Quite a lot but when you don't understand the language you flow with the narrator
The translation is not really 100% true in different points. For instance at 4:38 ("Oh God, what a disaster"), in reality the guy was saying:"Kwende mbele" the meaning in english is "Going forward".
I like their Swahili..
The truck is tough as well as the drivers and crews. Very nice documentary video.
