Do you have an idea of how graduate programs when they see WGU bachelors ? Not sure if you heard from people ? How that works? Is that even possible to get accept to notable programs ?
I was accepted into Georgia Tech’s Computer Science which has a 25% acceptance rate. WGU can get you into any top grad school. Maybe not ivy league, but anything else.
Thank you for your response. As you stated it would pretty much require masters degree since a bachelors in this is not much. So I’m not sure how it would be looked upon by schools when it came to applying due to it being a P/F university
@@AyoCriss I was curious about the answer to your question and came across this self-report by WGU students: www.wgu.edu/alumni/career-support/education-and-professional-paths.html
@@alexsheppe Thank you I am taking all of the classes you stated on Sophia now plan to enroll in WGU by December. Does WGU take most of sophia's classes?
Any news about transferring credits? I'm about to apply the program but wonder how fast i can complete it, by taking credits from other platforms like Sophia etc
If you don’t have any college credits, WGU might deny you unless you have a very high High School GPA. They did it to me many years ago. Basically, go complete 9-12 credits from Study.com or Sophia and you’ll 100% get accepted.
@@alexsheppe I work at Amazon and they offer WGU as a career choice and pay up to 5k a semester. So I'm trying to take advantage of what they are offering and this is exactly something I would want to do to fulfill my goal. I've never been to college so I'm literally at square one. I do have my HS diploma. I have a 2.35 tho and the requirement for this program is 2.5 (i’m literally right there.) and are you saying compete 9-12 HS credits? Idk where to start with this. And I will for sure be accepted? Thanks.
@anthonyh6992 you’ll be for sure accepted if you complete around 12 credits on study.com. They aren’t high school credits, they are called ace credits which will be accepted as college credits.
In my job searches, most (if not all) schools require a master's in school counseling, social work (like case manager) may be an option. But the only counseling jobs I can find that allow only a bachelor's is addiction counseling.
Are they only accepting 45 total transfer credits from all sources, or will they accept more credits from other colleges as well? I have almost a full bachelor's in psychology from a different university. I always regretted not finishing it.
Not sure exactly how the Psychology degree works as it’s really new… but absolute infinite time morning wake up work on school 13-14 hours and go to sleep? I mean… should be able to do it in 6 months.
How soon do think or know when
WGU will add a masters for psychology program?
Super excited to see WGU is adding more programs. Probably gonna snag this one for fun after a year or two. Can't beat it for $4k
Alex, I just spoke with wgu on 8/29 and they're accepting 75% on this program.
You are awesome for this! Very well done. Resonated with me very well. Thanks!
Which Facebook page did you see WGU mentioned on? Thank you for this video! I'm hopeful!
Is the spread sheet for psychology degree updated? Im starting the top of next month
Wow!!!’ Ty I’m excited for this!
Thank you so much Alex
Did anyone try to transfer the classes with the asterisk, and did it work?

Is a bachelor of science harder to complete than a bachelor of art in psychology? Are all the questions multiple choice?
Some classes are a multiple choice test, some are a paper.
Hey Alex when will you do an updated video?
Hopefully by end of September when they update the transfer list

How is it going?
How are things going for you? I'm starting next month. Kinda nervous about it.
Where do you get the transfer list ?
Are there any other schools like wgu that offer MA therapist degree programs?
I’ll try to do some research for you
@@alexsheppe oh thank you so much!!!
I heard that WGU might have masters in psychology coming 2025? Have you heard of this?
My counselor told me yesterday but said he thinks it’ll be 18 months
Hi Alex are you open to consulting directly fee based to get someone onto a program? Thanks
I believe the new date is Sept 1st for the full credit transfer outside of the core classes. Have you updated your spread sheet?
They still haven’t released the classes that will transfer yet. I will make a new video and spreadsheet when they do.
@@alexsheppeany clue when that will be?
Probably by Mid August but I’ll keep an eye out.
Does anyone who went through this program have a list of the classes and whether they require an OA or PA?
