Mr Jerry. Thank you for taking your time to help us. I know of your giant footprint in this industry and that's enough for me. I have been doing repairs for a long time and nothing is ever as simple as one, two, three. You do great real time seminars and take time to incorporate other training elements in the presentation. I also enjoy Mr Pierre,s Res pole's expert comments and evaluations
Tom thanks... Thanks for watching...there are a bunch of other videos on our channel...enjoy we hope they help.If you have not already Subscribed to our tstseminars UA-cam channel please do so. Interested in more training? Go to www.tstseminars.org and www.attstraining.com

John thank you very much for your comment and taking your time to watch the webcast. When you get a chance checkout the other webcast that we have on UA-cam. TST thanks UA-cam for their support with helping technicians via our webcast and the other great videos that that have.
If you purchase the full kit it comes with the cables for the OBD I vehicles. It's a great tool to have since it has PathFinder (a trouble shooter helper) and Identifix besides BOB (break out box pin information and more). Thanks for watching
Not sure where you are coming from. The webcast was made to provide infromation on using different tools to diagnoses a PO171 problem. Would you like to provide a better description on what you would do with a P0171?
Correct Freeze Frame is king when it comes to any DTC. The reading can be 15% up or down of the Freeze Frame readings, Great information that some techs forget to use. Thanks for your comments and watching.
It looks like your ECT is low... I assume the readings are from a warmed up engine at idle. Check your intake, air filter etc.How about the O2 sensor? Fuel delivery?
Change your scan tool readings from LBS to GPS...You should have 1 GPS per cubic inch of displacement. Is it a 2 Bank system or just one? It looks low. The fuel trim being that high means you have a Lean condition and the PCM is trying to add fuel. Does the O2 sensor read over 850Mv when you add propane or tap the throttle 5 to 6 times (so the TPS will send a rich signal to the PCM)?Try disconnect the MAF and check STFT and LTFT, Check for vacuum leaks, fuel delivery...

I would just ignore his comment. Scannerdanner seems to target a larger group of young DIY and some pro's. But by reading some of the comments on scannerdanner videos it mostly DIY. Scannerdanner is good at what he does and the information he gives. but a te is outline for making that rude comment and I'm sure scannerdanner would agree too! I follow and attend your free webcast and it is as good as scannerdanners videos. Keep up the good work!!!

all you need is the freeze frame data and the a scan tool to look at current STFT to know if the lean code is vacuum leak related or under load.
Does that Genisys tool also work on EEC-IV, or just OBD-II?
