I have a 2002 chevy cavalier 2.2 when I did the fuel pump current test I only get 6 commutator bars on my vantage ultra if I play with the settings all have more than 8 and it's pulling over 7.5 Amps I don't have any drive ability problems is that normal
l what brand clamp and model is it? Most of the times there is a zero nob that you can turn to zero it out on the scope. Can you email me back? Thanks for watching...there are a bunch of other videos on our channel...enjoy we hope they help.If you have not already Subscribed to our tstseminars UA-cam channel please do so. @@TSTseminars The model number is 697 Electronic Specialties. The clamp will zero out when the the button is pressed in . Once the zero out button is released the reading will slowly climb to around 18mv on the 400amp scale when connected to any multi meter. When the clamp is on the 40amp scale the reading on the meter will go up to 170 mili volts. All of this happens when the clamp is not connected to any testing cables. The current clamp has behaved this way since I bought it. The purpose of me buying this clamp was to test for alternator output. Thanks for the reply, your channel has great content.
