The “popular” spanish chocolate you bought was for cooking! It is for making hot chocolate😊
I thought so too
I think the chocolate with yellow wrap was to make the cup (liquid chocolate) greetings from Spain
That's true, se han equivocao a la hora de comprar 😂😂
We have one of those in the US
Yes, and the sugus are also very popular
I'm from Barcelona and most of the things that you bought I never tried but well😂
Whatt really? I am from Barcelona and i do have tried most of them jajajja
Me hace gracia como lo has traducido la frase diréctamente del español te doy mi like
18:48 nooo SUGUS are soo popular in spain. Everyone loves sugus here😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sugus de Suchard son suizos aunque super populares en España.
SUGUS ARE GREAT, and are really popular (I'm from Madrid)
I'm from Asturias and yes, sugus are popular.
A que si me encantan los sugus!!
@@MrsLizziee y si eres también de España pa que le respondes en inglés jajjaaj

@@MrsLizziee tranquil@, me vas a dar lecciones de vida ahora
I’m from Spain and half of the snacks you had aren’t typical 😅 but sugus and boca bits are so popular. Chili crips isn’t from Spain I didn’t saw them in any shop.
Frit Ravich is a Catalan brand and you can find it in Catalonia (i'm from Barcelona), but I've never seen Chilly flavour at any supermarket haha Saludos!!
@@descoleta Bueno supongo que será exclusivo de Cataluña ya que aquí en Valencia no los tenemos
@@saulgoodman292 puede ser si :)
real, yo las patatas de chili no las he visto en mi vida
Sugus are quite popular in Spain. Specially when you are a kid! My favorite was the blue (pineapple flavour)
im from tenerife, "The Candelaria" chocolate is for cooking lol.
Hi guys! I’m Spanish, from Sevilla. Sugus are popular, I used to love them as a kid. The dark chocolate and tirma brand are local from the Canary Islands, so you won’t find them anywhere else in Spain, I actually have never eaten them. I never buy Boca Bits, but when I eat them somewhere I remember they are not bad haha but I don’t buy them anymore anyways. I think the bags from the brand FRIT must be an off-brand because I’ve never seen them, maybe that is why they are quite plain not as flavorful as the original brands. Me encantan vuestros vídeos, os veo siempre. Besos desde Italia, donde vivo ahora 😘😘😘
Actually Sugus is the most classic candy brand in Spain
La Candelaria is only popular in the Canary Islands. It's a chocolate bar that you dissolve in milk on the stove. I don't think people ever eat it raw, it's just to make hot chocolate
Exactly
I loved this video!! You guys always have great taste haha. That chocolate that you both rated 3 and 4, is usually made to make hot chocolate. What you do is heat up some milk and then place one bar and let it melt completely. I am from Colombia and that is how we make our hot chocolate. Love you guys
Thank you Lina! no way!!! Totally didn't know that, i reckon i would love it much more in a hot chocolate! Thank you for letting us know ☺️
Lina Ruiz that is so cool
Yeah, we have something similar in both the U.S. and Puerto Rico different types of flavors and chocolate.
Oh my gosh I can’t imagine eating Abuelita (what we have here) 😂 no wonder it was so crumbly and sweet! Mystery solved.
Yep, i totally thought it’s like “abuelitas” when they were talking about it.
QUICK SPANISH TIP!
Vowels in Spanish only have one sound per vowel, whereas in English they can have several different sounds per vowel. This one bit of information helped me so much when I was in Spanish classes!
I’m a new mother and these are the videos I watch late at night while my daughter eats. I cannot wait to introduce her to some of the things I have been able to try because of your videos - candies, cookies, and chips I’ve never thought to try. I wish you both the utmost success ❤️
I like that you're getting ideas of things to put in your boxes from the food you're eating from other places!
I watch your videos with my 3 year old and 1 year old we absolutely love to see you and alex try alot of different snacks, both such wonderful and funny people 😊
ah thats so lovely to hear. I'm so pleased you all love them 😀
These videos and this channel is saving me and keeping me sane through this crazy time!!! I find myself having cravings for things I've never tried !!!!! Love it!!!
Awww thanks so much for my request!!! I really truly loved your video once again!!!☺️💖💕
I never get tired of watching these tasting videos. They are fascinating!
"How this stay in Spain" haha... *40°C summer memories* you dont fully know what a miraculous thing the fridge is
🤣you means southern Spain (Andalusia
I just have to say something after binge watching several of your videos. I love the show but I have also noticed how respectful you are in each of your videos no matter what culture you are reviewing. It really makes me happy!! A lot of British youtubers are snarky (especially when they are trying something from the USA.) Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your videos!!
Great work as always guys..... looking forward for more vids
I really enjoying watching these! ❤️
Yaay so pleased you do ❤️ I hope you love our ones to come 😀
I love when I get my notification for a new video, as always another great video. Looking forward to the next one.
Hi guys!!! I'm from Barcelona, Spain.
Give me a glass of milk= dame un vaso de leche
I love this candy = me encantan estos dulces
Os han gustado los dulces de España??? (Have you enjoyed spanish candy?)
Hey! We absolutely love Barcelona!! Very jealous you live there!
Thank you for the Spanish phrases 😀 We loved trying the Spanish candy! Thank you
en mexico se dice:¿te gustaron los dulces? aquí no se dice Os han 🤔
the truth is i was born in the US but i speak both Spanish and english
Gloria Simón it’s so cool u live in Spain 🇪🇸

American here. I've never heard of Gourmet Lay's. I'd sure try them if I saw them though! But we do have Bugles - I used to put them on my fingers as well when I was young! 😁
I put them on my fingers too when I was little... I used to call them 'witches' nails'. :)
Like si eres CANARIO y lloraste cuando viste las tirma
I love you guys! I do miss "cheers" before each item. Cant wait to see what you try next.
You can get pickups in tesco, asda sainsburys! also mini ones, and caramel chocolate ones!
I saw them recently! funny how we get some things here! Thanks for letting us know ☺️
I love watching these trying foreign candy videos, everytime I see a new video posted I have to make time to watch it. I am such a candy person, I don’t know what I would do without candy. I have wanted to receive foreign boxes for the longest time, however my mom never lets me get any. Therefore, I result to watching your videos! Lol
In most cases I would choose milk chocolate over white, however the white chocolate covered Oreos are delicious! I haven’t seen gourmet Lays here in the states yet.
ah no way!! They must really be good then! Not sure why i thought they were from the US? Maybe because the US usually get everything first haha
I love love love y’all’s videos! So much fun to see your reactions! Here in Georgia, United States, we can only find white fudge covered Oreos near Christmas. I’d be more than happy to send some to you guys!
Hi Kate and Alex....I love your candy tasting videos
I'm from Spain and there were some tings I've never seen before but you also got some really classic typical sweets too. I personally like "bocabits" and I must say that "sugus" really are typical from Spain I think almost every Spaniard knows at least what they are or has tasted them once.
As for the easy spanish phrase :
Me ha encantado el vídeo
I enjoy watching these videos... You guys are awesome 😇 love your videos
Got my first box from y’all! Have tried all the chips (crisps) so far. Absolutely LOVE the space raiders!! So addictive!! Going to get more, y’all have me hooked!! Hugs!! Just love the box!!
I just keep on watching your videos - you two are the best!
Love you guys!!! Love you’re vids there amazing and they make me crave some chips or candy 🍭
Me ha encantado el video!
I LOVE the video!! I'm from Badajoz, Extremadura! We have all the things that you show us!! 💕
Never seen lays gourmet before in the US
No way! For some reason i thought thats where the gourmet ones started
Never seen them either!
Zayah Dreyfus - I haven’t either. Not sure we have them here.
I've never seen them in the USA either.
I've seen them in few Mexican stores I live in Colorado USA
I use Duolingo... Learning both French and Spanish. Love your videos!
I love Duolingo!! I’m learning Spanish too on there so I can speak to my boyfriend’s family better ☺️ so glad you are learning too. Love you both!!
Addicted to your trying snacks from other countries videos. Can’t wait until you and your brother make the bean boozled challenge video.
The white chocolate oreos are the most amazing things ever they are devine!!!
Soy de las Islas Canarias 😄 Me alegra que os gustaran las chocolatinas Tirma. Son típicas de aquí ~
Greetings from Gran Canaria
I love you trying video. The choloate bar (La Candelaria) in my family we use it to make hot coco or to put it in dessert. We dont eat it like that. We bake with it.
Hi guys! Great video!
You definitely did a good choice buying those candies, I’m from Valencia and I think the most typical Spanish candy is the “tubitos”, and yes, we eat it during Christmas. Fun fact, those are also called “barquillos” that’s mean (literally) little or tiny boats. “Pink panthers” are also very popular in Spain
Love this video and I am learning Spanish just not on duolingo, but I have use the app before. 💛💛💛
Ah no way! I hope it's going well for you!
Looking forward to watching this once we have had supper. My parents live in Spain so hopefully I will know some of the sweets you have ☺
Love when I have a video to sit down with and enjoy. Have a nice dinner and i hope you enjoy watching ☺️ Ah no way, thats awesome! Let us know how we did with picking!
Uh! I'm from Madrid, so it is really nice to see you trying our candy! Some of those are mainly found at gas stations or at the airport (like those "Frit Ravich"), and I have never seen some of the rest (such as the last 2 items, the "Ambrosias" bars. We do have something similar, without the coconut flavour, which is called "Huesitos"), but you have tried some of the most popular candy and snacks we have!. For example, Matutano is a really popular brand that makes most of our salty snacks. The chocolate bar from "La Candelaria" is used for cooking, hence the shape and the texture of it. Great video, guys! :)
And, here comes the sentence in Spanish:
Los Sugus son un clásico.
I don't know how I found you two but I'm now a fan.
JUST SUBSCRIBED to your ultimate british box!!! I've seen all of your videos and I'm beyond excited to receive my first box! I imagine I wont get one for October, but probably November's box. Either way I'm so so excited! -love from a patient hungry canadian.
the cokies named principe are one of my favourites when i was a child
the chocolate bar that says la candelaria its in Argentina, for example, what we call "chocolate de taza" its the one we often use for baking or we grate it as a decoration in desserts, cakes, etc.
Filipinos, boca bits and trollis are pretty popular/common here in Spain
I don't think I've ever seen white chocolate covered oreos? The mint fudge Oreos are absolutely outstanding!
That Chocolate called "La Candelaria" and the other ones from the brand called "Tirma" are typical things produced in the Canary Islands 😍
Thanks for sharing, so interesting to see how the flavors take for you! It changes from one country to another, depending on the culture
We have sugus is malaysia too! They’re quite popular here... well they were my childhood candies at least
Found a Milka bar last week (featured in a previous video you tried) here in USA (North Carolina)... my kids and I all have it a 11!!! Would never have tried it if I hadn’t seen your video... seeing these Milka ones make me want to drive the 30 minutes back to that store to get another... lol
Ah no way!!!! Thats so lovely to hear! So glad you enjoyed it. Sometimes a chocolate bar is worth the 30 minute drive haha
¡Me encantaaa ! I love the way you both speak in Spanish ! I'm from Andalusia and your videos are the GOAT! Keep on with the good job 😘😘😘😘
Pd: "Sugus " are pretty famous. They are a classic ;)
Ah thank you so much! I don't think i have a very good accent haha. Oh cool, thank you for letting me know ☺️
I loved your video with the candy from my area (Pacific Northwest USA) and this was also so much fun. Kate is so pretty and I love listening to the two of you. I get these boxes from Universal Yums and the Spanish box didn't have any of these items but I wish they did.
I love spanish candy, my grandfather and mother are both Hispanic and we love our spanish candy. Amos los dulces 🧡 also would love an autumn taste test of your British Foods in the local stores.
Ah no way! We do love them too! Can you speak Spanish fluently? We will be doing a unboxing of our christmas box coming soon 😀
InTheKitchenWithKate lovely I love learning about British food too. I speak it well enough but my family speaks it so much better
Hispanic and Spanish aren't the same thing dipshit me cago la mujer
Las patatas fritas son la mejores
Ha i love when they are eating the crisps ( im British ) kates describing them and he is just sitting there eating them ha love your chanel😂😂💙💙💙💙
I am learning Spanish on Duolingo. I have a student with Autism, who is newly in the States from Mexico. And I am brushing up on my Italian as well. I was brought up in a house with parents and grandparents born in Italy. I feel like I am losing the language I spoke as a child, so I am using Duolingo to bring it back. 🙂
Oh cool! Thats awesome! That's great you are trying to get it back, i hope it's going well!
I'm learning Polish on the language app. I like it
That made me double take on "The Suite life of Zack and Cody"
That made my day. You guys are great! 👍
Love every single video!! You guys crack me up!!!!😘💖💯💯👍👍
Hi guys! I don't know if someone has said something already but, that La Candelaria chocolate is for making hot cocoa. Just melt it I boiling hot milk( evaporated milk is best), and a couple of cinnamon sticks, sugar to taste and enjoy!
I'm from Spain Madrid
I LOVE your hair
Me encanta tu pelo
Sugus are actually very typical in Spain! They remind me of my childhood 100%!
Surely more testing Australian foods videosss!! 💛💛
we have something similar to the munchetos things called munchos. the pick ups look amazing. I would separate it and put a melted marshmallow in-between like a smores I bet it would be delish.
Sugus are very popular in Portugal, at least they were when I was a child!
Ah no way!!!
White fudge Oreos are amazing!! I found them over here in B&M!! Also recently tried cinnamon bun Oreos they are lush!
You guys are are so funny !!😂 I love you guys!!❤️
Thank you Jessica 😆 Glad you enjoyed it ❤️
You guys make me so hungry!😂 I love the way you guys eat/chew!!🤗😆 make it look divine!🍫🍬🍫🍬
Oh white chocolate filipinos! I just loved them ! You also find them in Portugal so almost every time I go there to see my family or when I go to a Portuguese supermarket here in France, i pick some 🙈.
As usual great video ❤️
I'm not from Spain but our Spanish is similar. Amo tu canal.. i love your channel! ❤️❤️ an easy sentence could be Eres bonita.. you're beautiful 🌼
Im addicted to Pickups alot of shops in the UK are doing them
White choc oreos are amazing!
Definitely seeing more Pick Up's in the Uk shops now too!!
Munchitos highly resemble something we used to have in the U.S. called Muncho's ... very similar I would say though I have not seen them here in a very long time. The original Nestle Chocolate Bars were just pure chocolate, we still get them and we love to use them in Smore's ... graham crackers with a piece of nestle chocolate bar between them and a toasted marshmallow ... delicious especially around a fire. Love watching you two sample the snacks from around the world.
I'm Spanish, exactly from Andalusia!!!!💃💃💃❤️❤️❤️
Really ?
First time I've seen any of your videos but now this is my 9th love them sooooooooooo much x
Hey!!! Love the video! But im from Spain, Seville and I've never tryied some of the candy that you are trying! I would LOVE to show you what is really tipical from here!
These videos are so fun! I have made a few taste test videos as well, they are always cool to film :)
Kate you were talking about not having tried the chocolatecoated Oreos. I saw them at Gatwick Airport on Tuesday and at Kingdom of Sweets on Coventry St. on Monday. Both milkchoc and white choc.
You can get pickup bars in the Uk and Ireland 🤗, check in like Asda’s Morrison’s Tesco etc you will find them
The Oreos covered in white chocolate are really good. I normally only see them around Christmas. Hope that helps you find them!
Hi Kate and Alex. I'm a subcriber from Tenerife (Canary Islands - Spain). I like seeing you two trying candies from Spain. This La Candelaria Chocolate is made in Tenerife but we use it more to do hot chocolate in a mug because of the powde it has, we obtain a thicker hot chocolate. The brand Tirma (you have tried some candies from this brand) is also made on the Canary Islands only, and it is very popular. The most popular candy from this brand it's called Ambrosía, it is the purple one you have tried.
Thank you very much from trying these candies.
PS: Sorry for my English.....
Canary Island have their own brands like Munchitos or Tirma. In Spain (mainland) there are complete different snack brands.
You were correct with the qadbury bar with kettle chip! There is also a bar with CC's corn chips! Taste really good :) us aussie come with with some good but also weird combos.
Hi Kate and Alex, I've bought the pick up's in Aldi before. I think they have them in all the time. Just thought I would let you know so you can enjoy them x
I would LOVE to send a box from San Antonio, TEXAS!! American Favorites with a Combination of Southern Comforts and Mexican Favorites you MUST TRY!
And btw la lechera is a sweetened condensed milk, used for desserts, here in Mexico we even use it on pancakes (like if it was maple syrup)
I'm from Valencia in Eastern Spain.
I love crisps- Amo las papas
The white chocolate fudge covered oreos come out around this time of year in America
Oh really! For some reason i thought they would be year round!
I live in southeast Texas about 2 hours outside of Houston and we Start seeing them when the retail stores start putting out the Christmas decorations lol !!! I love them
InTheKitchenWithKate here in Southern California we have them year round. But around Christmas I see them even more! Especially white chocolate ones!
i’m not that into white chocolate, but the oreos covered in white choc are WAYYYYY superior!!
every year i go to lanzarote it’s a MUST to pick them up
😍😍😍😍
I am from lanzarote 💁🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
We have white chocolate Oreos in Mexico, too!
I'm from Asturias, Spain, a little town called Cerredo, I really LOVE sugus 😍 and the chocolate you had used was for Hot chocolate. It's for Melt and drink or be use to cakes por cooking recipes. I REALLY LOVE BOCA BITS 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
That thick bar makes great chocolate milk, with a touch of cinnamon so good added to hot milk
You make hot chocolate with those chocolate slabs... in a pot of water you boil water until all the chocolate melts into the water then you add milk and sugar. Best hot chocolate EVER!!!!
Hey guys. I live in Flint Mi and I have never seen the gourmet lays. You need to try the Cookie Layer Crunch candy bar. They are so good!
I liked this video, I'm Spanish, from Granada, Andalucía 💃🏽😂
