  • Herminia Ibarra, the Charles Handy professor of organisational
behaviour at the London Business School, delves into what talent looks like in the age of artificial intelligence. Leaders are people who move a company, organisation, or institution from its current to - ideally - something better. In the age of artificial intelligence and smart technologies, this means being able to actually make use of the vast technological capability that is out there, but is wildly under-used.

However, innovation does not always come "from outside". If the organisational culture nurtures but also expects ideas internally - radical and incremental - then incredible competitive advantage can be created and sustained. It all, of course, comes down to the collective intellectual horsepower within the business/organisation and this ultimately comes down to recruiting the right people - and then having very clear and articulated development plans for each person so their capacity to contribute can grow.
There are many spokes to the wheel but far too many organisations do not and will not commit the time resources to do these critical elements.

And, finally (!), the use of Gold Standard and scientifically validated Psychometric Tools can add immense value here too. Check out LDCeurope.eu for example.
