Do any of you who think it is masterpiece tell me scene which was masterpiece the whole movie was like talking talking talking even not in English in French and german
This was a fantastic movie overall with MANY good actors in it, but the one who really stole the show was Waltz. I guess he was barely included in this trailer because internationally he wasn't known all that well, merely in German speaking countries. Still a good trailer through.
Brad pitt movies always do that. they didn't show too much of antagonist in the trailer but in the movie, they are main focus. for example, you can take Kevin Spacey in seven movie trailer. Kevin didn't even mention in poster nor tralier because he is not a popular actor at that time, same goes to Christopher.
Tony Flaco Yeah you're right. We are used to trailers that show all the money shots which ruins the film. Tarantino trailers are okay, but it's better for the film.
I must admit, I put off watching this film for so long because the trailer and TV spots made it look like a dumb parody. And although many parts were a bit over the top, I was actually surprised by the level of depth and authenticity it had. Aside from the ending, which was obviously fiction, this film actually seemed like it could be telling a true WWII story. I'm usually not a fan of Tarantino films, as they're so over the top, but this is some of the best cinema I've ever seen.
how can u not be a fan of tarantino? also i’d just like to say that i enjoyed the movie more the second time i watched it so give it a re-watch sometime.
@@ashtonlyons2139 There's also quite a lot of authenticity with things like the uniforms and stuff, but yes there were some fictional elements thrown in and some historical inaccuracies
My favorite movie of all time and it’s not even close. The cast, the plot, the dialogue.. everything about this film is phenomenal. Quentin Tarantino is a genius.
This is an example of what a "false advertising" lawsuit that was recently in the news is all about. Though bits of dialogue that weren't in the theatrical release isn't as egregious as a particular actor in the trailer but not the actual movie, I still think the former isn't that awful.
i finally watched this movie and i expected a scene like that to come on at some point. watched the trailer to confirm if this was even what i thought it was or if i was just misremembering the trailer from years ago
the first trailer was trying to make it out to be a typical gritty world war 2 movie. this one was trying to paint it in a comedic light. the actual thing, a dialogue heavy master piece that is my favorite world war 2 movie.
After watch the movie, this trailer is amazing... But I would have hated it if I saw it before I saw the movie. (Have you noticed how much it didn't appear in the movie at the end? .)
No they didn't at all... Literally only told the story of the basterds but didn't even mention the girls part in the movie. Not to mention they didnt go into detail about killing Hitler...
rastaziggy81 OK i guess you're right about the girls, but they showed us that Hitler will be at a cinema and they showed us everyone getting shot in the cinema and the cinemaa burning... So anyone who can put 2 + 2 together will have the ending spoiled for them
McEgge I agree with you, but we already have a good understanding of the film. I feel like if you haven't watched the film you might not even realise that it was the cinema on fire, it could have been anywhere
incredible movie, waltz is amazing, when brad pitt enter the scene suddenly the movie look cheap, when waltz presence again, it look good again, i dont like the ending, brad make it look cheap, i repeat, cheap, waltz deserve respectable dramatic tragic ending
This movie was pretty good but at the end you'll see it's horrifically inaccurate in terms of historic authenticity. lol The Kill Bill movies will always be my favorite out of Tarantino's works. :)
Not quite... because at least 3 films have been made about real WWII big cases of Jews killing Nazis,- the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, the Sobibor Escape and the Bielski-led partisans, all available at least partly on UA-cam. Not to mention less dramatic cases of killing Nazis in other places.
