Nah honestly I think Catfish might be over and it pains me to say it.
The show is a very long way from where it once was, and I don’t mean that in a good way.
Nowadays you only find jokers, influencers and other people who just want their 5 minutes of fame at the expense of the show.
You can literally see it with your own eyes when you look at Nev and Kamie the last few seasons, 9/10 episodes is just unnecessary drama and it has become very rare to see an epsiode without it, Nev and Kamie always try their best to be fully engaged in the stories they hear but I can imagine it becomes very tiring when every single episode turns out to be all drama and nonsense.
That’s not why Nev made this show years ago, he truly wanted to help people, but not like this.

It just seems to me like they’re less engaged in the stories and they let more things slide sometimes in confrontations because at that point in the episode the drama is already too much to make sense of.

He was so close-minded as a cheerleader.. all my life, even when you get to the professional level. It's all dance, ballet and exercise. You can't even fraternize with players or unprofessionally. The women who do it are going out of their way.
