I think bc she’s used to eating nutrient dense foods. Her body wasn’t getting its usual nutrients and hungry for more so she kept eating till full. That’s why she said she felt hungry again later on.
well a normal person shouldn't finish a whole pizza by themselves, so Linda actually ate like a normal person by eating half of them. You can tell she pushed herself to eat as much as possible so that like the Dr said she can eat more of her healthy food when she comes home.
I don't think her diet is that nice. Fat-reduced yogurt with honey? Still lot's of meat and wheat produce? 🤔 When she was like "Oh I love salads!" I actually expected much more salad and green veggies and less processed meat and flour crap. Also juice? Juice, even freshly made, is never that good, unless maybe you are in dire need of quick vitamin boosts. Always eat the whole fruit with a big glass of water instead. But I'll admit her initial diet is one of the healthiest on the show so far.
It's clear Linda is pretty good with food. She's not picky or ridiculous with her food as many of the super skinnies have been. She does well with the food swap too. She just needs to make some of her meals a bit bigger, and probably add in more snacks to put on some weight.

Thomas got the BEST kickoff o his new eating plan, by being paired with Linda. The variety of gorgeous foods was a much better start than the usual super-skinny's diet of 3 celery sticks and a "meal" of tea.
Linda's meals look delicious! The portions are obviously too small for someone who works out and is as active as her, but the meals themselves look tasty!

She indeed looks amazing. But she just needs to put some extra fat on. Because at this age ovaries go to rest. And only fat cells can convert testosterone to estrogen to sustain a certain amount of estrogen in the blood flow. Low BMI at this age also has a poor effect on bone density, increasing your chances of bone fractures (including hip fracture).
Her diet is fine, it's the fact of her not eating ANYTHING with fats, carbohydrates, sugars, etc. And the fact of her over exercising But she's definitely not the worst that's been on here
This is the best episode I've seen this far. Linda genuinely tried to finish his meals, and tried her hardest to teach Thomas the positive things she knew. Thomas was incredible. He gave Linda's healthy foods a chance, and didn't complain about the portions. He openly accepted her food habits. I think they completed the diet swap with grace. I am so happy for both of them. (:

I started at 338lbs. This show really motivated me and kind of shocked me into losing weight. Making me more aware of what I'm really putting into my body. I now weigh 182 lbs with another 50 lbs to go.

I'm 180cm and I increased my weight from 49 to 70. I give you a challenge and I want you to try it for yourself, then you can tell those people "full mouth of excuses". Eat as much as you can, to the point you get extreme stomach pain, your esophagus gets dry, your body refuses to swallow the food, you have a hard time breathing and you are sweating like you were weight lifting... ok now try to eat more, if you manage to eat a good portion of food after that, then come here and frame others, thank you.

For her age and amount of body fat! Because normally, as you get older, if you tend to be a little bit skinnier, wrinkles show a little bit more and the skin looks less toned than for someone with more fat.

When Thomas said he was 23 my heart broke a little. He seems like such a kind person and seeing the photos of him as a kid it's clear he's always been big. To be so big at such a young age must've been hard, and I'm really happy at the ending and that he looks much happier at the end of the show. Linda was a great swap for him diet wise.

People on here: I DEFINITELY know more than a trained and educates doctor and she eats ENOUGH. Umh. People. She's skinny. She has a low BMI. She eats healthily, just not always enough? Especially since she seems to be so active. They wouldn't have had her on the show if she wasn't this skinny. She just needs to eat more, since she's an active person
Alot of people are saying she eats enough for a normal person. Which she does. But she needs to double her portions if she wishes to continue her active lifestyle. Which is something people have problems understanding. I was 87 pounds and 5'8 and I was 100% sure I was healthy. I was eating recommend calories for teen girls, and I ate 3 healthy meals a day. But I didn't factor in the fact that I did multiple sports (6) and had intense training sessions where I burned close to quadruple calories than I had eaten. After being told I wasn't allowed to compete anymore I finally understood how you had to factor in what you burned. Linda is eating a healthy diet for someone who exercises some. But she exercises and burns too much for her diet and she just needs to increase calories to adjust to that.
Mo Mo She eats like an average person, but that shouldn’t be the goal, it should be to eat what’s good for you to sustain a healthy lifestyle. Everyone’s body, and calorific needs vary. I just wanted to say that, to specify why when people say, “She eats like a normal person,” but you should eat for your body, it doesn’t matter what “normal” people do.

Probably the easiest diet swap so far! :) I think they really hit it home with the people that get paired up because they all learn from each other. Take that lesson to everything you do in your life, allow yourself to learn from other people's good and healthy habits. Be kind.
Probably my favourite episode ever. Both swap partners were so easy going and willing to teach each other and put in 100% effort. I think that attributed to their overall success. Well done!!
This is probably one of the best pairings on the show. Even though both of them are polar opposites with their food choices, they each give the food a chance and try without complaining.
A truth here for sufferers, around 16:00, he notes that losing weight will help with sleep apnea. I can attest to the fact. I was waking up choking at night it was so bad. After my first 20 pounds lost, my sleep improved. Snoring is not as harsh and I dont wake up gasping for air, and I have more energy in the daytime now.
I think Linda secretly loves her food. That may be why she is so determined with her diet, because she is scared to let go even a little in case she can't stop. I know that feeling.
i’m loving linda’s attitude throughout the whole swap 💜 i’ve always disliked how picky most of the skinnys are, which comes off as bratty and annoying to watch ☹️ and it’s obvious they _don’t want_ to gain weight and look “fatter”- so they definitely need to get past that if they ever want to get better. but linda has a really nice and positive mindset.. and is actually trying! 🙂 which is nice to see. plus she’s gorgeous!
I hope all the people that participants met in US are also getting some health through this program, cause I feel quite bad for them that they're only shown as something that can happen to the participants. Of course, it's a great motivator for people who are close to that stage but I think this people need help more than anyone else.
Also the bread, they don't eat gets wet and moldy, which is really bad when they eat it. And also when it decompose it is nutrients for alge, which will destroy water quality when there are high amount of those.
I love the fact that they both seem so appreciative and willing to try each other’s meals. They’re both so nice about it and they both just seem like they’re great people

Linda's tuna salad pita / apple / granola bar, or homemade soup and bread looked so nice! She just had to be more aware of her calories especially when she boxes, but I'm glad Thomas learned that healthy food can taste good and not be just a chicken breast
I just love Thomas, he’s been my favourite person on the show yet, I was so happy to see how good he looked after losing 3 stones. He was so genuinely nice and always reminding Linda that she had done a good job at eating. They were a great pair, and Linda’s meals didn’t seem so bad. I would definitely try them, even though I know because she is super active it isn’t enough for her. Anyways just wanted to share how much I loved the sweetness of Thomas and he made my day. I don’t usually comment but yeah
I can relate to this I used to be 400 pounds now I Am 330 pounds I am so proud of myself I never thought I can do it. Now I'm still working on my goal of losing 100 pounds.
I really did like her attitude towards the entire experience. She ate as much as she could without complaining about it. She didn’t criticize him for the way he ate. She didn’t cry or have a meltdown over their switched diets like so many others have, which I really admired. She was awesome 😎👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 . Well I shouldn’t be surprised in this case. If you feel 'fat' you might wanna try eating MORE and going to the gym though, maybe what you feel you're missing is some muscle :) But really, don't lose weight.
By far my favorite episode, I've watched it multiple times. Not only are both Linda and Thomas personable, but they both did really well during the swaps. No complaining, and they showed real effort. I couldn't believe how well Thomas did!! 3 stone, it's an absolute shock. Just goes to show if you really want something, you will put in the effort it takes to get there. Well done Linda and Thomas.
Honesty, her breakfast is better than mine. I usually have a granola bar with tea or almond milk. If I feel like I wanna cook, I'll make some eggs and toast instead.
These two were both so lovely, I hope they stayed in contact to support each other♡ Her eating is honestly fantastic, just needs more quantity, and he clearly really appreciates good food and I hope he can overcome his food addiction and change his diet!

when you're underweight/very skinny its often physically impossible to stuff yourself. You'd get sick and probably dry heave.

Thomas got the best exposure to healthy and varied food from his superskinny partner, and lost more in those following two months than anyone else I’ve seen so far. I don’t think that’s a coincidence!
When Thomas said he was 23 my heart broke a little. He seems like such a kind person and seeing the photos of him as a kid it's clear he's always been big. To be so big at such a young age must've been hard, and I'm really happy at the ending and that he looks much happier at the end of the show. Linda was a great swap for him diet wise.

Umh. People. She's skinny. She has a low BMI. She eats healthily, just not always enough? Especially since she seems to be so active. They wouldn't have had her on the show if she wasn't this skinny. She just needs to eat more, since she's an active person
Alot of people are saying she eats enough for a normal person. Which she does. But she needs to double her portions if she wishes to continue her active lifestyle. Which is something people have problems understanding. I was 87 pounds and 5'8 and I was 100% sure I was healthy. I was eating recommend calories for teen girls, and I ate 3 healthy meals a day. But I didn't factor in the fact that I did multiple sports (6) and had intense training sessions where I burned close to quadruple calories than I had eaten. After being told I wasn't allowed to compete anymore I finally understood how you had to factor in what you burned. Linda is eating a healthy diet for someone who exercises some. But she exercises and burns too much for her diet and she just needs to increase calories to adjust to that.
Mo Mo She eats like an average person, but that shouldn’t be the goal, it should be to eat what’s good for you to sustain a healthy lifestyle. Everyone’s body, and calorific needs vary. I just wanted to say that, to specify why when people say, “She eats like a normal person,” but you should eat for your body, it doesn’t matter what “normal” people do.

@@danae9520 ughh i love this comment so much, i live with my aunt who tells me i eat too much just because i eat more than her. im taller than her and im still growing, my dad tells me the same thing because i eat more than him. he is also shorter than me. my aunt even says shes gonna start restricting my food. i would be concerned if i had kids and at 14 they werent emptying the fridge every week

Probably the easiest diet swap so far! :) I think they really hit it home with the people that get paired up because they all learn from each other. Take that lesson to everything you do in your life, allow yourself to learn from other people's good and healthy habits. Be kind.
Probably my favourite episode ever. Both swap partners were so easy going and willing to teach each other and put in 100% effort. I think that attributed to their overall success. Well done!!

A truth here for sufferers, around 16:00, he notes that losing weight will help with sleep apnea. I can attest to the fact. I was waking up choking at night it was so bad. After my first 20 pounds lost, my sleep improved. Snoring is not as harsh and I dont wake up gasping for air, and I have more energy in the daytime now.

I think Linda secretly loves her food. That may be why she is so determined with her diet, because she is scared to let go even a little in case she can't stop. I know that feeling.

i’m loving linda’s attitude throughout the whole swap 💜 i’ve always disliked how picky most of the skinnys are, which comes off as bratty and annoying to watch ☹️ and it’s obvious they _don’t want_ to gain weight and look “fatter”- so they definitely need to get past that if they ever want to get better. but linda has a really nice and positive mindset.. and is actually trying! 🙂 which is nice to see. plus she’s gorgeous!

I hope all the people that participants met in US are also getting some health through this program, cause I feel quite bad for them that they're only shown as something that can happen to the participants. Of course, it's a great motivator for people who are close to that stage but I think this people need help more than anyone else.

Also the bread, they don't eat gets wet and moldy, which is really bad when they eat it. And also when it decompose it is nutrients for alge, which will destroy water quality when there are high amount of those.

I just love Thomas, he’s been my favourite person on the show yet, I was so happy to see how good he looked after losing 3 stones. He was so genuinely nice and always reminding Linda that she had done a good job at eating. They were a great pair, and Linda’s meals didn’t seem so bad. I would definitely try them, even though I know because she is super active it isn’t enough for her. Anyways just wanted to share how much I loved the sweetness of Thomas and he made my day. I don’t usually comment but yeah

I can relate to this I used to be 400 pounds now I Am 330 pounds I am so proud of myself I never thought I can do it. Now I'm still working on my goal of losing 100 pounds.

I really did like her attitude towards the entire experience. She ate as much as she could without complaining about it. She didn’t criticize him for the way he ate. She didn’t cry or have a meltdown over their switched diets like so many others have, which I really admired. She was awesome 😎👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 .

If you feel 'fat' you might wanna try eating MORE and going to the gym though, maybe what you feel you're missing is some muscle :) But really, don't lose weight.

By far my favorite episode, I've watched it multiple times. Not only are both Linda and Thomas personable, but they both did really well during the swaps. No complaining, and they showed real effort. I couldn't believe how well Thomas did!! 3 stone, it's an absolute shock. Just goes to show if you really want something, you will put in the effort it takes to get there. Well done Linda and Thomas.

Honesty, her breakfast is better than mine. I usually have a granola bar with tea or almond milk. If I feel like I wanna cook, I'll make some eggs and toast instead.
It is a good diet but it’s not enough calories for her really active lifestlyle.
