Bank 1 rich code has not come back on. With JUST one injector replaced it was not enough for the code to come back on. But two or three injectors, yep! Still working on the perfect THE PERFECT idle with new ordered injectors. Link at the end of the video when it finally fixed!
I have a 2002 Nissan Xterra and I keep getting a cylinder to misfire the engine light would come on when it misfires but then the light goes off. It has stored to code saying cylinder to misfire. Sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn’t. It’s so random. Sometimes it lasts for a long time. Sometimes it goes away right away, I’m wondering if I can just lift the Plenum up far enough to get to the cylinder to fuel injector if I test it with an oh meter what should it register at compared to ones that are working?
Do you ever use fuel injector additive cleaner? It works to some... I have p0300 frontier..doing my search now. What obd2 scanner do you use? Thnx for vid!
do you have the link to the injecto that was giving you the running rich code? would like to get them and test the flow and see if i can use them on my supercharged vg33
there is something wrong with your plan to put injector "on a can" to clean it.... you cant. these injectors are SIDE FEED so the only way to clean is with a machine or build a rig with another fuel rail
I have this same problem it revs up fine sitting still just has no power when your driving it evenwhen i put it on the floor then all the sudden you feel the power come in and out and the power comes back. It will idle smooth as silk or a min or 2 when parked then the idle changes pich and you hear the pft pft in the exhaust then smooths back out, then starts shaking again in drive the engine light will sometimes flash because it running so bad!, I got a bank one lean code and a knock sensor circuit code, i replaced the knock sensor but it still has this intermittent missfire. Its like its not getting enough fuel under load! everything is new plugs wires dist every sensor even the fuel pump and regulator . its very frustrating!
Don't know if you've already resolved this but from what you've written, it sounds like you've been getting a random misfire code (P0300). If that's the case and you also show bank 1 lean condition it almost always means you have a vacuum leak on bank 1 (cylinders 1,3,5). This means unmetered air is getting sucked into that side of the engine. In that case you need to conduct a vacuum leak test to determine exactly where the air is being introduced. As to the knock sensor, there was no need to replace that. The knock sensor code p0325 is only triggered when it determines that an engine fault is found; so the sensor was actually functioning as it should.
Harness on valve cover to facilitate checking ohms on each injector. It helps to locate the high resistance one.
Yes 2 were 5 and 3 ohms.
Thx for this
Dealing with a bad injector on mine and I’m swapping with new out soon
What did you lube the o rings with??
Great!!
nice video... I have the pathfinder and having the same problem
Nice!!

Watching from Conroe, Texas. I enjoy your videos.
This Injector Saga is sure a lot of good information towards understanding their 'quirks'.

Sometimes just to see if it actually works. But most of the time it doesn't fix a issue like shaking/missing when a injector is going bad or sicking.

The sold out of them. I found out later they are for a 16600-9S200 JS23-4 for Infiniti QX4 LE 3.3L 1997-200. They were on e-bay.
@Johnny Five kool man mine actually ohmed out of spec so can't do that

I have a 2003 X and it’s got a Cyl2 miss! Think I need to pull that intake and replace. Wish I could reach you.
