2023 Toyota Tacomas not selling all models under MSRP just sitting on lots !!

- Tons of Toyota Tacoma are just sitting on the lot all under MSRP. This might be the best time to get a 23 Toyota Tacoma and you might be able to save thousands. I would not pay over MSRP for 23 Toyota Tacoma. I’m not sure how long these trucks will last and these prices will last, the last thing we want to worry about is a Truck shortage. This is Toyota Of Wilsonville.
Bottom line they're too much money. Even UNDER MSRP.
Bought a fully loaded TRD Off Road in April of 2020 for 38k (leather interior, moon roof, tonneau cover, LED headlights, all the collision avoidance stuff). Specced a 2024 with the same packages and it was 53k...At least I have another 200k miles to save up.
@@weemackee that adds up to today's prices if you take into account inflation, we're at a sub-6% (5.9% inflation rate since 2020), that would put you at paying over $45k if you bought it this year. I got the same setup as you, premium package, hard top tonneau, TRD offroad of course, at $44k, which was a decent deal. A lot of people don't realize how bad inflation has gotten in just the last 3 years. (wasnt an insult or anything, i didnt realize how high it was either until recently)
EDIT: one thing that's REALLY a problem is the interest rates now, that's the real problem for those who would have to finance
Tacoma are expensive up front, but I just read that they hold 80% of their value after 5 years!
What isn't!!
most uncomfortable and unreliable truck I ever owned
Nah, these automakers finally got all those computer chips and now there's a glut of vehicles in a time of high inflation, high interest % rates. The economy is going into the crapper 💩 so alot of households are putting off major purchases 🏡 🚙
Exactly well said my friend! I think you hit the nail on the head! Thanks 🙏 for the reply and checking out the channel my friend!
💯% correct!
Agree
Also the 4th Gen Tacoma is coming out in 2024. No point in buying this “old” gen when the new is about to come out
Economy is doing great. The fed has hinted at dropping interest rates in 24, people just aren’t buying trucks at these prices. Hopefully we all stick together and make them drop prices
just paid my 21 taco off . keeping my truck for a long time . i love it
Yup bought mines back in 2010 and the truck still going strong.
Congratulations 🍾🎈🎉 that’s awesome 😎 my friend!!! I love mine too man I just been having a blast in it lately. They are great trucks. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great week and congratulations again on getting that thing paid off. That’s what it’s all about !!
Same here practically paid cash for my 22 Tacoma Sr access cab black 4x4. The best truck is a paid off one keeping her for a long time. Love the simplicity of it. Six foot bed comes in handy. Love my plain Jane, went up a size 265/75/16 BF GOODRICH KO'2S, Black Imposter wheel skins, and a bed cover. No jump seats in back perfect truck for my simple needs. Sad to see the 3rd gen go , They are all time tested. Peace..........
I spent a bunch of time in mid-2016 finding a good 2015 DCOR. I wanted the last of the 4.0, and I’ve never been happier.
That’s awesome. Those are good trucks. I hear really good things about that 4.0 motor. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. I’m glad you got a good truck.
Very few Tacomas and 4Runners on lots in my neck of the woods in Georgia. Good video!
Nor any thing else in midsize.
WOW i have never seen soooooooooo many Tacomas. I our area most of the dealers have maybe one or two max and they are the SR's. All the good models of Tacoma's sell out real fast. Great video as always!
Yeah that’s how it is up here sometimes but right now we got quite a few. We’ll see how long it lasts. Thanks for the reply and the support. Have a great week my friend.
Buying the last model year has its ups and downs. Typically they have their bugs worked out but on the other side they almost immediately take a big dip in value when the new year is released. So if you plan on keeping it a long time and you negotiate a good deal then its not a bad idea but if you like to switch things up every 5 years then it might be better to wait it out.
Exactly well said that’s what I’ve been trying to say for a while now but if you’ve been watching these videos, you know, I sometimes have a hard time articulating my words or my thoughts if that’s correct thanks for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend. Have a great week and thanks again for the awesome insight.
I don’t think 3rd gen. tacomas will eveeerr go down on value, especially because that new 4 cylinder turbo engine on the 4gen !
Don't know what state or city this is but toyotas inventory is sold out , unlike Ford or GM or Dodge . Toyota and Honda have taken over.
big dip in value? 🤣
@@henryscreations could be we’ll see how it plays out lol either way we got good good trucks lol
Love it, thanks for the detailed walk through the lot.
No problem thank you very much. Thanks for the reply and thanks for checking out the channel. Have a happy new year.
Love seeing these trucks!! Yes my dealership has tonds of 2023.. bout half of the parking lot.. I’m a sucker for silver .. I have a 2022 but my heart is set to get the 2024 around summer.. only time I did buy a late model car was 2014 wrx sti body style and they change it to Kia 2015 style so i cop the last gen.. I love the body style of the 3rd gen. But let’s be honest the 2024 improvements is enough to move on 👍🏼..
Yeah it is a nice improvement with the 24s I definitely don’t blame anybody for getting a 24 instead of a 3rd Generation ! Thanks for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend. Have a great week.
At this point folks are waiting for the 2024. 2023 buyer have come and gone. Others just not in the market to spend 40k+ for a truck.
I think you’re absolutely right my friend well said and I couldn’t agree with you more. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a merry Christmas. !!
The inventory overstock issue is happening at almost all dealerships. The Tesla dealer at Washington Square Mall has 2/3 of the old Sears parking lot filled with vehicles.
I bought my 2015 DCOR from Wilsonville Toyota in 2016 when the 3rd gen came out. Glad I didn't buy the 3rd gen, the 3.5 liter feels lazy compared to the 4.0. I'm curious to see how the 4th gen drives!
Yeah, when I first drove the 3.5 I was not impressed at all. Somehow it just grew on me and I got used to how it drives. I’m pretty sure the new ones going to drive awesome I mean as many people complain about this one they got to get it right thanks for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend. Have a great week.
Prices are the biggest problem...I priced a base model on the lot with basic rims with an MSRP over $30K.
Yeah the prices have gotten out of control for sure !! 40,000 for an sr5 is crazy ! Maybe not bad for 35,000 but that’s still pretty high ! Thanks 🙏 for the reply and checking out the channel my friend!
I just got a 2023 Tacoma Off Road 4x4 with the leather, sunroof, JBL Stereo, Black out package, predator4 running boards, light kit, fully loaded, and I put the TRD Pro Black Wheels on it after I bought it. Paid $47,890.00 + tax and DMV. Had $6,707 extras on it.
Nice congratulations. Sounds like a awesome truck, my friend. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. Have a great day. What color did you get?
That's a lot of Tacos! Buy one whil you can that V6 engine lasts forever :) ..The new Taco engine is the T24A-FTS debuted in the 2022 Lexus NX350
Similar to A25A engine and move is not all about gas mileage but I hear pure emissions related. Keep grinding!
Thanks a lot for the reply, my friend I absolutely love my third GEN pro ! Thanks for checking out the channel. Have a great weekend.
I bought my 2023 and I love it so far. I’m glad I got the V6. That was a big selling point for me.
Maybe the higher interest rates are starting to bite. Also, Toyota’s white paint (040) on 3rd gen Tacoma’s have a paint peel issue. Toyota has just officially recognized the issue and is working on a fix. They have started sending some letters out to customers with affected vins acknowledging the issue and they are currently working on a fix.
Most of the vins affected came out of the Mexico plant. So if your vin starts with a 3= Mexico, you could be impacted. My Canadian purchased, Super White, 2020 TRD DCLB Sport 4x4 has a vin starting with a 5= Texas. After 3 years the paint hasn’t started to peel. If it does, thankfully I’ll be covered.
Yeah, they’ve had issues with that super white now ice cap for years. Hopefully they take care of anybody who’s had problems with the paint thanks for the reply and information my friend. Have a great week.
I’ve got news for you if it’s a Tacoma you have it is made in Mexico , all of Tacoma’s are assembled in Mexico . Tundras are made in Texas .
@@donaldpiper9763 yeah I’m pretty sure or three that I’ve had have been made in Mexico all have been good trucks. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel.
@@donaldpiper9763 No not true. Some Tacoma’s were made in Texas up until 2021. After that all Tacoma production was moved to the 2 Mexico plants.
Wait a minute, Tacos don't have quality issues according to all the Kool-aid drinkers that are in the Taco cult.
Awesome vid, just got my 23 sr5 few months ago.
Nice congratulations my friend I really like SR5 !! do you got like the red accents in your interior ? Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend. What color did you get?
Merry Christmas to you as well my friend.
I just bought (yesterday) a 2023 NEW Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport, Long Bed, in Red. The dealership took off $2500 off retail, and gave me a good trade in $. I decided to stick with tried and true (2023) instead of new and flashy(2024). Beautiful truck. Remember the updated Tundras had some issues? Dealers need all the 2023's it off the lot, the 2024's are coming soon onto lots. This same truck 2-3 years ago was $4-5000 over retail.
Congratulations on your truck your going to love it last year of the v6 !! You can’t go wrong with the third GEN ! The new Tacoma will be good, but like you said, it could have bugs it definitely will cost more. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. Have a great week and merry Christmas.
I just bought a 2024 Nissan Frontier King Cab 4x4 6' bed after driving a 2023 Tacoma did not care for the Tacoma at all.
If you’re happy, that’s all that matters my friend. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. Have a great week. Did you notice like a power difference is it does it shift better? Thanks for the insight, my friend.
@@littlekennytv5668 Yes better power and the shifting was much smoother. I am a Toyota lover so i was surprised at how much i disliked the Tacoma.
I just sold my 2006 Toyota Tundra 4.7 V8 it sold in 24 hrs and it had 187,000 miles on it.
Sold it because it was to large for our needs anymore. But the Frontier has more power than the Tundra did.
I bought my 3rd gen the last day of 2015 and they delivered it to my house Jan 1 2016. The best deals are in late December. Not only do dealers have quarterly and yearly volume incentives for total sales and for specific models from the factory, but they get taxed for their inventory Jan 1, so they save on taxes if they can sell by end of year.
When there is a new generation, generally the outgoing generation goes for deep end of year discounts, also. A lot of the SR's are fleet vehicles so those may be on the lot but they are already allotted to customers. By Jan 1, very few of those sitting on the lots right now will still be there and over 235k 2023 models will have sold in the US, plus another 15k or so in Canada, one of the top 4-5 best years ever for the model, all while retooling their assy lines for the 4th gen.
Personally i would rather have a gen 3 than gen 4, especially at a deep discount. They got rid of the clam shell access cab doors and jump seats and just left storage in the back of the new xtra cabs, the storage boxes and other bed features have been deleted, the pax side grab handle deleted, and other 3rd gen conveniences gone. Also the new platforms always have issues to iron out and the occasional lemon.
Hey, thanks for the reply. Thanks for the feedback that’s definitely good advice. Yeah I think it’s a good time to get a third GEN. These trucks are awesome. I think the fourth GEN will be good too but there probably will be some bugs. I mean this is the last year of the naturally aspirated V6 ! The third GEN is a great truck has everything you need ! Have a good evening and merry Christmas my friend. Thanks again for the reply.
Of course you like the Magnetic Grey…
Those colors became popular in the LAST MILLENNIUM.
There was only ONE 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road double cab, long bed left when I bought mine.
I purposefully chose to buy my 23 Tacoma over the 24 Tacoma.
Historically a Turbo engine simply doesn’t last as long as a naturally aspirated engine.
My 23 TRD Off Road, double cab, 6’ bed with the Premium and Technology pkgs with running boards and a Tri-Fold tonneau cover MSRP was $51,848. I bought mine for $48K.
I had to have the Long bed. 85% of the time my truck is on paved roads and the rest of the time it’s definitely Off Road.
With all of the factory upgrades, my Tacoma is basically a Limited Edition with the TRD Off Road pkg.
I LOVE my Tacoma.
I had been saving money for a very long time to be able to pay cash for my truck.
I drive only 6-7K miles per year and at my age this Tacoma will be the Last truck I’ll ever have to own.
In 20 years it will still have less than 150K miles.
Nice congratulations my friend I absolutely love my 2023 as well!
Thanks for the reply and the feedback have a great day!
@@littlekennytv5668 This is my 5th Toyota pickup. My first one was a 78 Hilux, an 83 Hilux, an 86 Hilux, 90 Hilux and now my 23 Tacoma.
I’d drive them for a few years and then they would become a truck for light duty work on our 17K acre ranch in Montana
Strange. Up here in Canada you can't even get one without waiting for months.
Yeah that’s what I keep hearing! I’m sure it’s because of you guys‘ harsh winters or maybe all year around conditions that these trucks are highly sought after and maybe you guys just start getting a lot allocated to your local dealers. Some of the dealerships here are pretty big so they get lots of vehicles we did hit a point where we were waiting on some of these trucks but that was a couple years ago. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. Have a great week.
11/19/23 Just picked up a 2023 TRD Offroad $37,971 MSRP $41,308 not many options but the OffRoad's come with tons of stuff as is. The deals are out there!!
Toyota has the lowest new car inventory among mainstream brands in America with just 41 days of supply. These delicious tacos will be fine :) Send'em west, we'll sell'em.
Exactly these little few Tacoma’s at these dealerships have is nothing to them. These tacos will sell their awesome trucks. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a merry Christmas.
I was over in wilsonville looking in 22 and the lot was empty. Found two sx’s online. Flew to Tennessee because it was 8k cheaper to get it there.
That said John over in wilsonville is awesome to work with.
Nice yeah everyone over there seems really cool thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great week and merry Christmas.
You certainly do know your product. Knowledge is power, and it sells too! Could you please include some 4runner info? Here in central New Jersey 4runners are still fairly scarce. Thanks, again.
Thanks a lot for the reply, my friend I truly appreciate it. Yeah, no problem I’ll try to get more 4Runner content on the channel. I actually really like them a lot. Been trying to get my wife to get 4Runner for years just so I can drive it lol 😂 one day lol thanks again for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a good weekend and merry Christmas.
I’ll always choose an n/ a engine over a turbo, because I tend to keep my trucks 10 years or longer. Just my opinion
Definitely it’ll be interesting to see how this turbo charge four-cylinder goes. I’m definitely happy with my V6 thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a merry Christmas.
I got a 2000 tacoma 2.7 and a 2012 2.7 both 4x4 manual trans.I see an expensive future with this engine lots to go wrong after warranty.Imo
Still driving my ‘03 Tacoma 4x4 with 428k. 27-30k price was nice back then too 😂
Wow, that’s awesome. The same engine and the same transmission. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
Wow, that’s awesome. The same engine and the same transmission. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
@@littlekennytv5668 yes sir, same engine and transmission. Preventative work over the years but mainly religious oil changes.

I love my 23 tacoma electric lime 4x4 sport with almond katzkin leather.... I'm happy with it.
I bet nice nice upgrade on the interior ! These are awesome trucks. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel and congratulations on your new truck. Have a great week.
Up here in Ontario Canada we have none l waited 7 and a half months for mine and paid MSRP
Yeah, that was us a couple years ago and you had to wait for the dealer to get allocated vehicles and then you were paying above MSRP or just forget about it at a lot of the dealerships not all of them but you definitely had to wait and you really had to wait if you just had to have all the options you wanted ! Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great week. yeah I think the longest I had to wait was like almost 2 months like a month and a half !
The dealers are able to take 2-3 thousand off the MSRP & still make a profit. Just goes to show how much profit they usually make on a vehicle.
Those Tacoma prices use to be Tundra prices. Its amazing expensive these trucks have gotten and its no new technology in them.
A measly $2000 discount is insulting on these overpriced trucks, especially with demand in the toilet, too much inventory and a brand new redesign dropping in a week or 2. Every one of these trucks should be $4000 to $5000 off MSRP. Toyota is ridiculous with their pricing. If you don't need a truck right now, I suggest waiting until 2024s start hitting lots or even after new years. You will get a much better deal then. These prices are still WAY too high.
These Prices are way over by $8k......per trim level...back in 2016....SR5 were selling for less than $30k, limited were $35k tops.
@bigfootswatching9986 it’s a mess truck prices have been crazy, but yeah, I’ve watched these prices go up the last couple years on these particular trucks for sure the economy is a mess inflation high interest rates, and the manufacturers just keep raising the prices. Thanks for the reply, my friend and checking out the channel. Have a great week.
Msrp for the 2024 without options or hybrid is quite a bit higher than the 3rd gen though. I wouldn’t doubt you’ll be seeing people pay $55-65k for a 2024 Tacoma depending on what options they get. Absolutely insane.
Have you been living under a rock the last year? lol EVERYTHING is overpriced. hahaa I was at subway the other day and a footlong meal was $16.75! Can you believe that, it's insane!
@@chasehelmick6025 You're right and that's the problem. Too many buyers are willing to pay these insane inflated prices. If buyers had a tiny bit of self control and some basic negotiation skills, we wouldn't be in this mess.
Still holding on to my 2022 TRD Offroad with 6 speed manual. Kind of a rare bird if you think about it.
That’s how I feel about my pro. I love my truck. I plan on holding onto it for as long as possible. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great week and merry Christmas.
The 23 Tacomas in the PNW are few and far between. Prices are at MSRP and it’s likely the 23’s will hold value no differently than they have over the last decade.
I totally agree with you. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great week.
I don’t find that to be the case here in central OR. Lots of stock and it’s all being discounted.
I got a Smoking Deal on a 2023 Tacoma TRD Off-road 4 Door, 6" Long bed with all the upgraded Bilstein suspension system and Fully loaded inside and out. Bought it 2 months ago for $40,000
I had no problem buying a white one at that price......
Exactly that’s an awesome deal and white looks good !! Thanks 🙏 for the reply and checking out the channel my friend and congratulations on your new truck and merry Christmas
Toyota needs to bring back the small pickup. I'd buy one. I'm not interested in the overgrown Tacoma.
Yeah, I think they got a small pick up truck in the works. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a merry Christmas.
The problem is the interest rates.Unless Toyota going to offer 0%
Yeah that’s what I’ve been hearing. That would be awesome if Toyota offered 0%. I think they got some type of deal going on right now but I’m not sure. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. Have a great week my friend. Thanks for your support and thanks for your service.
@@littlekennytv5668they current finance rate is 3.99% 48 months if it go’s 0% I’ll pick me up one
I like my Taco with all the fixin..
❤ lol 😂 good one Thanks for the laugh my friend I feel you though I’m the same way I like mine loaded lol 😂
White gets better mileage and the paint don't burn off as a bonus.
At least the 2024 has finally adjusted the GO CART driving position where you are sitting almost on the floor with your legs and feet straight out in front of you.
Yeah, I have a 23 so 20 and up. They actually have a power seat so I think that helps a little bit. Also people use the seat jackers they swear by them I might just order some just to try them out to see if that changes anything I’m hoping the 24s are gonna be awesome. I like the redesign. I think the interiors nice I’m interested in the iforce max the hybrid version. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a merry Christmas.
My dealer in NJ sells them before they arrive. Last week none on their lot.
That’s how it was too around here about a year and a half ago. I’m expecting the same thing once the 24s get going that’s if they’re any good. lol 😂 thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my
friend. Have a great week and merry Christmas.
All the price gouging has come full circle and I think the public is hopefully done with the games, trucks will continue to sit on lots while the dealers continue paying floorplan interest... maybe some will even close down...........
Yep that’s how it goes. You reap what you sow. What goes around comes around thanks for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend. Have a great week.
Well since 2023 Models are now year old trucks who would pay full retail vice getting a 2024?
If you want the last v6 Tacoma you would glad I have my 23 I absolutely love my truck! Thanks 🙏 for the reply and checking out the channel my friend ! Have a Merry Christmas!
Where the heck is this!? I live in the Houston area and you can't find any new only used. $41k is a deal
Wilsonville Oregon Toyota Of wilsonville. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a merry Christmas. I hope you find your Tacoma.
People are nervous about the economy. As a result, large purchases are being delayed. They will repair the old vehicles until after the Presidential election. I believe 2024 could be a challenging year for most working people. The oversupply of vehicles with a low demand usually means the market will adjust to lower prices. Car dealers don’t make any money when vehicles just sit on the lots. Expect prices to be soft.
Well said my friend thanks 🙏 for the reply and checking out the channel have a great weekend and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hopefully things will get better sooner than later!!
I see a lot of 7544s in many regions now (Portland and Denver), most of them in Ice Cap 040. The ones with the packages (AT, TP, & OF) are plentiful in the Southwest and many dealers are showing the discounts on their websites.
In English lol 😂 7544s ? you must work at a dealership LOL thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great week.
Last year people were on a waiting list 3 to 6 months. 😂
Because people want the 24s!

What’s going on with that White TRD Off Road 4 Runner?
I love forerunners, but the channel hates them lol 😂 yeah they got a lot of for runners I mean a lot of the dealerships just have tons of them and I think they’re awesome but the same thing with Tacoma next year is gonna be the new one 2025. It’s just the old technology but it’s the same thing with the Tacoma It works and a technology is not that bad. Thanks for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend. Have a great week.
All four doors I don’t want the extra doors hate the way they look I have one now unfortunately had to replace my old truck and didn’t have a lot of time to look for a two door could not find one any brand

I’m looking to buy a Tacoma, waiting for last week of December, where is is this dealer at?
Toyota of Wilsonville in Wilsonville, Oregon. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a merry Christmas and good luck on getting your Tacoma.
Of course the people being invited to the events will have nothing bad to say to stay in toyota's good graces so they can drive the hybrid early too. The new one looks great, but every youtuber toyota invited is defending the outrageous new pricing. Looking at well over 40k for a double cab 4x4 SR5 in the new model lol
Yeah, I can’t disagree with you what I will say is this I mean it’s a four-cylinder I drive my wife’s Kia soul and it’s not hard to make a four-cylinder now I don’t know if it makes it more difficult because it’s turbo charged but it should be pretty flawless. You know after all the complaints from the third GEN I think they got it figured out.
@@littlekennytv5668 I'm confident in the new powertrain, but I cant stomach the huge price bump myself. The 24 sr5 was a possibility for me to consider next year to finally replace my 15 year old car. It's now off the list. Cant be spending that much with current inflation and already having a mortgage
@@bladerunner766 yeah I was kinda looking at the prices it could be like a $5000 price increase on a off-road but I think it’s probably closer to 3000 it’s definitely an increase but I totally get what you’re saying and where you’re coming from. Thanks again for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend and the feedback.
Well said all the taco channels have been schilling hard for the new taco.
My Dealer in Norcal has 25 . . . the last few years they have had only a couple on the the lot, if any . . . more are coming every day
Yep, it’s a lot of them on the lights, but the options are limited, and the colors are limited and I doubt if we see anymore Pros should we might not even see any more trails thanks for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend. Have a great week.
I got an idea when trucks don't sell.......DISCOUNT THEM MORE! LIKE $10K to start. Then $20K.
That would be awesome 😎 lol 😂 thanks for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend. Have a great week but yeah you need at least a $5000 discount on these trucks right now.
I like the king cab with a v6 and 4wd? Seems to be more rare in this generation but I know they exist.
Better get those pre 24 Tacomas. Asking a 4 cylinder to do what the older 6 has been doing and doing well for years is a recipe for disaster. The big 3 have screwed up all their truck engines and transmissions, now Toyota in 2021 with the Tundra and now 24 is doing the same with the Tacoma. 😔
Lol 😂 that’s what I’m think 🤔 I hope 🤞 they come through for all the taco 🌮 people lol but yeah I’m glad I got my V6 thanks for the laugh, my friend I definitely needed it lol 😂 thanks for checking out the channel. Have a happy new year my friend.
I don't know if you can call that discount, they jacked up the price 5-10K and now they claim price cut.
Lol right
Sir you know your tacos very well.
Thanks 🙏 a lot I try to lol they are very cool and interesting trucks still so much more to learn about these trucks ! Thanks 🙏 for the reply and checking out the channel my friend!
I'd rather have one of these than a Turbo charged engine. Long live V6!!!
I love the third GEN I’m super satisfied with my 23. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a merry Christmas.
@littlekennytv5668 I still have my 08 Gen 2 and still going strong 💪Merry Christmas as well!
Just maybe it has something to do with the RIDICULOUS prices they're charging for them. Ditto for Rams and F-150s.
Looks like PRISON GRAY to me!
Glad I bought my 2023 white TRD Sport access cab in June. It was hard to find one back then. I haven't seen any access cabs in your videos lately. Is it true they will no longer be made in 2024?
Yeah, I haven’t seen a lot of them lately that’s for sure they’re still going to make them but they’re not gonna have the doors open. It’ll just be a two door and you have to move the seat to get to the back but I don’t even think they’re going to have a backseat I think it’s just for storage. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great week. It’s actually going to be called the pre-runner. I believe that’s what they bring it back.
Congratulations don’t when you’re white sport access cab that’s a nice truck I really like the access cabs you can if you got any wheels and tires on it yet or do you plan on putting any on it ?
The tires that came with the truck were changed to Falken Wildpeak A/T 3W. Same size. I almost bought the TRD PRO wheels but kept the factory ones for now.

Fuck the dealerships, they jacking up prices for their own cosmetic junk.
Lol 😂 thanks 🙏 for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a Merry Christmas!!
Nobody can afford anything at these outrageous prices, not only are loans with higher rate, but insurance, and everything else that comes with owning a vehicle has skyrocketed. Service, maintenance, repair, gas, insurance ~ how the Hell do people think anyone can keep up with such overwhelming numbers? Let’s be honest if a burger at McDonald’s is going to be 20.00 because the government wants more money then there’s a big likelihood McDonald’s dies in the near future. All this thanks to the Biden administration. 3~4, years ago a payment for such vehicles was 400~500 including insurance ~ today that price tag is 1.200 or more. People finally see how they are getting screwed and said I need to eat instead.
Timing cover oil leak on this v6. It cost a fortune to fix 😅
Interesting at about how many miles thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. Have a great day.
Are they also offering low interest financing plus under msrp?
I have heard that they’re trying to give you the best interest rate possible I guess that kind of depends on your credit but the interest rates in general. I here are still pretty high. Thanks for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend. Have a great week I don’t work for the dealership so you might have to contact them if you’re interested in purchasing a vehicle and ask about those interest rates
Funny how many people will pay anything...just to say they got a Tacoma....LOL. I had one....nothing special, sold it after 2 years since long distance travel was very very uncomfortable. Terrible comfort.
Yeah, takes a little getting used to but you had two years so I guess you never got used to it lol 😂 did you ever do seat jackers? These are awesome trucks no doubt about it. They’re the best midsize truck on the market so if you need a midsize truck this is it its the best one. but for long distance, travel with the family wouldn’t be a good idea for these vehicles for one or two people fine but like I tell everybody with these trucks it’s a lifestyle it’s not just a truck. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a merry Christmas.
Who the hell gets rid of their vehicle after six years? I had my old Tacoma for over 20 years got the third GEN and I’m keeping that for 20 years or more.
That’s what I’m saying yeah it makes no sense at all to trade in a perfectly good truck. I’ll probably have this truck for a long time Lord willing it’s a great truck and I absolutely love it. They did a great job on the third GEN thanks for your reply and checking out the channel my friend have a merry Christmas.
@@littlekennytv5668 you as well
Naturally aspirated V6 all the way!! They'll sell all of them, not to worry.
Don’t know where you’re looking, this title should say “ just my area”. You can’t talk for a whole country. Because New England, they’re not keeping them on the lot. They sell as soon as they come in for above msrp.
It was just like that a few months back around here the thing about it is there’s always dealerships that are gonna do markups and there will be ones that don’t now if you only have one dealership in your town you’re out of luck but there’s plenty of dealerships that aren’t doing any mark ups and you could save thousands of dollars right now in the northwest Oregon I can’t really speak for Washington I’ve spoken to people from around the country and they have either at MSRP or under MSRP but there are dealerships who will mark up and maybe they just don’t get as many trucks or they sell faster thanks for the reply and checking out the channel but yeah, it was just like that around here you know a couple years ago I mean even a year ago I paid a markup on my truck, and there was dealerships that weren’t marking up, but I might not be able to get my truck for sure I wouldn’t of been able to get my truck ! Have a merry Christmas my friend
Those prices don’t matter. The stealership can rip you off in literally a dozen ways to markup those sticker prices. I just bought a 23 tacoma 4x4 in lunar rock here in South Carolina. I got the best deal that I could after 2 weeks of negotiating with the dealership. Still over paid a little. I don’t want the new redesign because it’ll be 3yrs before they workout the kinks. And it will cost considerably more.
Wow, that’s crazy. You had to negotiate for three weeks with them well at least you got an awesome truck. I love Luna rock. Yeah they probably gonna have to work at all the bugs in the next couple years and they’re definitely gonna be expensive. Thanks for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend. Have a great week and merry Christmas.
@@littlekennytv5668 Same to you. Thank you for the video.
Just traded mine in 2 weeks ago
I would buy one tomorrow if I could find a manual transmission. If anyone knows of one let me know.
It’s been a while since I seen one, there’s actually a TRD pro that’s a manual but it’s got some miles on it not new if I see on I’ll let you know. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a merry Christmas.
Never ever pay what the dealers ask for...stick to your guns...
Definitely thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a good weekend and merry Christmas.
Too expensive for me, $48,000 for a midsize pickup? I have owned a few Tacomas, so I know the vehicle... That is nearly what I paid for my first house! Age and inflation have turned off many of us older guys in regards to purchasing these new vehicles. This is simply getting stupid, and it is easy to figure out whey the lots are loaded with vehicles.
Yeah it’s crazy right now ! Just like any market though up down and all around lol ! But I definitely agree with what you said ! Thanks 🙏 for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a Merry Christmas!!
They are too expensive; and dealers order them loaded with options.
People here want near their purchase price for their 4 year old truck... no shot, i'd buy new.
I have been looking but around but I really like a limited. They only have it in Black, so I want really a choice. There is not a lot of Tacomas sitting on lots in Texas either unless you are talking the base model .
Check out one of my latest videos. There’s a black Limited in there a really nice one. I hope you find what you’re looking for soon. This one’s in Salem Oregon. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great weekend.
No dealer adjustment get one. But it’s to much dealer adjustment
40-42K & those are nice 🛻💨 I think those LED headlights especially for the 💰 are the best option you can get! Changes the 🛻💨 imo... If rates were low like 4% or less I would go buy a '23 but it's more important to me that I pay off the truck I have then I have the newest truck 👌
And that’s very smart. Thanks for the reply and checking out the chat on my friend. Have a great week.
@@littlekennytv5668 hell yeah bro! You have a good week also Make the best of it & that TRD pro you have is VERY nice I know the 🆕 🛻 💨 Tacoma's look fancy but I'm sure that truck you got will last a lifetime It's not perfect but it's a damn good truck! I got the '22 off-road 6-speed manual basic 📦... I got it with a 6-7-year 120K warranty $0 deductible totaling $41,500 so at least the whole time I'm paying for it I won't have to pay for any repairs & hopefully it doesn't need any 😂
@@honda116969 exactly well said my friend yeah the 3rd gens are awesome and they will last forever and I just love it ! Thanks for the support and checking out the channel my friend. Have a good one.
They went too high on the prices and with interest rates so high and inflation nobody can afford new vehicles. Everyone has had to tighten their belts plus so many people that purchased during the pandemic owe way more than what its worth and are too far upside down to trade. I would buy a 2023 over a 2024 though its tried and true rock solid reliability the 2024 is turbo charged and untested.
I’d sooner have a 23 than the rediculously overpriced 24
Yeah, I’m just not sure if it’s gonna be 3000 more or 5000 more or 7000 more lol but the 2023 is a great truck We know that for sure !! thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great day.
@@littlekennytv5668hi Kenny , I have a 2018 off road, it runs perfect, I’ve not had any issues or problems with it. The dealership wants it back. They make an offer every time I get the oil changed, but I ain’t never going to let it go !
Send them to Florida
We got a lot of them. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel. Have a great week my friend.
Do you know any dealer who has a new Ram TRX @ sticker or better?
We have a jeep and dodge dealership in Salem Oregon on Mission Street. They’re doing a lot of trucks for MSRP and they have a lot of them over there from time to time.
Certainly can't find that kind of inventory in the southeast..... Thanks for sharing
No problem thanks for checking up the channel my friend and thanks for the reply. Have a great week.
@@littlekennytv5668 A lot are under 2K msrp but no manual.
@@littlekennytv5668 let me know when they have a 50% off sale on the 23 Tacomas
@@sammyjammy6647 lol 😂 thanks for the good laugh my friend lol
@@littlekennytv5668 I call it like I see it. The improvements in the 24s make the 23’s less desirable. Especially the 23s sluggish V6, noisy crawl control, uncomfortable seating so on and so forth. I would only be tempted with the inferior 23 if it was a 50% off fire 🔥 sale
Where is this? I’d like to get that gunmetal gray one.
Wilsonville, Oregon, Toyota Of, Wilsonville thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend
Everyone Waiting for the 24 Tacoma’s- You swapping solar for the new taco?
Yeah, a lot of people are waiting on the 24s. I’m not sure yet if the right opportunity presents itself for the right truck maybe I really like my truck a lot. I love the color and I love the third gene. Thanks a lot for the reply and checking out the channel my friend. Have a great week !
How much for the FJ that was in the background?
For what ever reason I did not get a price ! Thanks 🙏 for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a great week and Merry Christmas!
I went to Sullivan brother toyota in Kingston MA. The greedy dealer had a $12k mark-up ob a trd pro. I said thank you and walked out
Wow that’s crazy yeah I would have did the same thing ! Thanks 🙏 for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a great week ! Merry Christmas !
Hell is dark too
what can you get a regular cab 2wd 2023 tacoma?
What's the price?
All different prices, my friend under MSRP thanks for checking out the channel and thanks for the reply. Have a good weekend.
When a good price on a mid size truck is 44k. Lol
It is the best midsize though. Thanks for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a merry Christmas. These trucks are super expensive.
@@littlekennytv5668 I agree they are the best. I’ve had a few first generation Tacomas. I just can’t fathom that amount of money on a depreciating item. That’s a lot of cash.
Unless you live in Alaska or Montana you do not need a 4 wheel drive. If you want to throw you money away buy a 4W drive. Save your money fools. Oh by the way the manufacturers and the dealers will steal your money with a big smile on their face.
They need to take that interest down to 0.9-1.9 percent again then ill go grab a new 2024 tacoma lol
Right lol 😂 thanks 🙏 for the reply and checking out the channel my friend have a great weekend my friend and Merry Christmas
Who needs low interest rate. Pay cash.
