Polaris offers two different 2 up seat options. One just has heated hand warmers and the other has both heated hand warmers and a heated seat. So the 2nd switch on the right hand side would be for the heated seat. Great video Luke! Cheers 🍻
Best sled I've ever had for two up riding was a 2020 850 xc137. Had heatet passenger seat, heavy duty springs and som other extras. Pulled a small sled with fishing equiment, chairs, fire pan, food etc. Sled was amazing to drive. Smooth and powefull, mistres hated open lakes and fields😉 The heavy duty springs allowed good speed in bumpy tracks as we don't groome them in Norway
I agree the bag is on the small side. Polaris should put the M2 journey bag on the adventure. After all, that bag is specifically designed to fit behind the two up seat on a 137” track.
Love the blue reminds me of the old indy sport color. My grandfather passed away last summer. I did a lot of snowmobiling and hunting with my grandfather growing up. We rode Polaris back in the 90’s his first Polaris was a sport. So really beings back a lot of memories seeing that blue on a Polaris again. But i do agree about the steel blue not a fan. Black or white would look much better or maybe just all lite blue. Great information on the adventure. Thanks
@@joshgessinger4509 Sorry for your loss pal. Cherish those memories. I to have memories of snowmobiling with my father and grandfather I’ll never forget!
The M2 journey flex bag fits behind the seat on the 137 and offers more room so that takes care of that issue. For me I want the 4 stroke but need a turbo because we ride at altitude. Hoping Polaris brings it this year for their 75th anniversary
It must be almost impossible meeting all customers expectations and preferences. Here in Scandinavia we get the Nordic Pro, which is kind of like a light version of the Titan, aiming towards utility but also giving the opportunity to have fun with. With that you get the 650 motor, a 146" track with 2" luggs, QS3 shocks, a loading rack, towbar and the 7S display. Adjustable skiis 91-104 cm (I think). With that you can add a two up removable seat with handwarmer AND the heated seat (that's what that other button was for). Then you can add a big storage box, which you just click away when you don't need it. To me, this setup sounds like the perfect allrounder. You get excellent trailhandling, reasonable off trail capabilities, family ready and at the same time something you can go away with on your own and have a ton of fun with, on and off trail. I find that it has been difficult to find the snowmobile that is good for hauling the family and at the same time being able to go out and ride just for fun. Maybe the perfect compromise?
I think they didn’t go with the assault platform for two up riding because of the uncoupled suspension of the assault, would probably wanna make front end standup more often with someone on the back vs the 137s coupled, that’s my guess why they went with the 137
For me... it makes sense as a 137. You said it youself... you'd ride it as a solo sled most of the time, BUT for us family guys that may have to take a wife or a kid on occassion... PERFECT!
Thanks for the review on this sled, and I agree with you. The last few years I was looking at the 'Adventure' thinking that doesn't offer anything much or more as I have the older Axys model Adventure with the saddlebags and it has everything I need, great riding sled, totally happy with it... do wish I had that new 650 or 850 but the 600 will do for now.
That 600 you have is a great engine. The Axys chassis was a great chassis as well…. I’d be happy with what you have currently! Latest and greatest is appealing but it’s not like you’re riding something from 1978!
I bought a 2022 Adventure 650, I wished it had come with the heated seat from the factory, the optional seat does not have the colour match stripe, it is just black so I didn't add it. I love the bigger storage out back as I only ride one up, really enjoy the ride and power. I totally agree the 650 is fantastic, I had an 800 before and I do not miss it for trail riding. Mirrors could be higher but work ok. Just wish we had better winters to enjoy more in SW Ontario.
Own a 2019 Polaris 550 adventure with 155" track. Also 9" skis on the front. Can go anywhere. Very fun to ride also very simple technology. Which other manufacturers don't offer much of these days.
I agree, a 144 or 140 something would of been a nicer length, but it may of come down to what they had the most of in stock or possibly just to save a few bucks in retail price to make it look more attractive to other machines knowing that those 2 up trail sleds dont go off trail much so it saves a couple pounds, couple dollar bills and a couple inches of length on the trailer or truck bed. I had a Bearcat Ltd with the 1100 4 stroke twin, 20x155 track. On trail, there was no real advantage over my Polaris Touring 137.
I have the same complaint with 2024s colors but with the grey. I really don't like the total replacement of black with all grey. It just doesn't look nice to me.
The sleds from the 20th century had plenty of room for a second person even though the track length was minimal, now you spend 20K + on a sled with 4' of extra track and tunnel length and you get a dirt bike seat along with quality control that seems to be a big issue with all the new MFG's
Means they’ll have an update, after a season of having the Skidoo screen, as to which digital display they like best…. Currently the Polaris is the industry standard but after a year with the Skidoo that may change. Thats what they’re saying…. Not sure why that wasn’t clear but hopefully I could help you!
@@pajamatime5750 ya I figured that it meant the 10.25 gauge, but you never know, in 22 everyone thought the 7.8 was the new gauge and then boom a new comes out…lol
@@Fossillarson lmao I just might have to… our season is normally coming to an end in the next few weeks to a month here, but this year we don’t have snow, it’s currently pouring rain, my sled along with everyone else’s here hasnt moved unless it’s to pull gear from trailer along a beach to fishing hole

The foot rests clamp onto the running boards, you could probably adjust them if you want.
The Adventure models have the heavier duty trapezoid cross section rear torsion springs.
Love this sled from Polaroid especially with my fav 2 stroker the 650

I also wonder if the 146 skid used in the assault transfers too much, especially with more weight to the rear of the sled.
