Funnily, "Bearer of the Sigil" is more or less what Malcadors title "the Sigillite" means over in 40k - so Kevin might very well be(come) the Malcador of Hunter: the Parenting
There are points in this video that point to Big D 'playing' Kevin. Statistically the most successful interrogations are when you befriend your source of information. The most successful interrogator in WW2 never once used torture but instead made sure his charges slept well, had conversations with them and brought them little gifts. It is possible this is what Big D is doing. HOWEVER. There is another possibility. There are also many points that favor Big D being a Mercy Hunter. A type that doesn't buy into the whole 'kill the monsters for revenge' or 'kill the monsters for God' shtick. He appears, specifically, to be a Redeemer. A Mercy Hunter that believes not all 'monsters' are evil and chooses to go after only those who are actively doing harm and even then, get to know them before deciding if they deserve a quick, clean death or if they can be put on a better path. Points for either argument, but the second one would be so much fun to see clash against Door's narrow minded 'all of them evil, all of them must die' view.
Maybe the "playing him" came first, before Big D realized just what a tragic and broken *human* being Kevin is and - maybe deliberately, maybe not - switched gears mentally to the whole Redeemer shtick? Big-D obviously is not nearly as one-note about his Vampire Hunting as Door his. But yeah, honestly I don´t think that BD is playing Kevin and instead feels genuine sympathy for Kevin. It just doesn´t *Feel* fake to me and BD isn´t that good an actor to just fake it.
@@DerIrre1 in the case of door, it’s kinda justified, he’s a military minded man. He probably had to deal with shit like that before, and is basically the guy who plans for when it happens. You will see why I make this assumption in episode 3. Also D is blasted on drugs.
Based on what D says about being the bearer of "his" sigil and regent of a new paradigm shift, I believe D is actually a Visionary. Those of this creed can actually create new sigils, and thus spread their message and beliefs to others hunters for ages to come. As the name would suggest, they can also lean toward rather radical beliefs.
@durema9720 now i wanna create a vampire that was in both and so knows both but is also trying to redeem himself and find a cure for vampirism but well he's on the run now and he's joined a group of others (this will never happen as I don't play wod but I would like to)
@@theenderdestruction2362 Gameplay wise that wouldn't be possible, unless the GM is open minded enough to allow it and the character doesn't seem too busted. Lore wise I have heard that it is possible for vampires to learn the disciplines of other clans with a great deal more effort than it would require to master the disciplines of their true clan (the one they were sired into). The tremiere are also notoriously tight lipped about blood magic and will NOT teach it to vampires of other clans, you would have to be a tremiere that either somehow managed to get accepted into clan tzimiche (tremiere are universally disliked by other clans so good luck) or had learned the ways of flesh crafting taught to them from a member of that clan (much more likely to happen than the previous). Treimere would never welcome outsiders, that I can assure you of, they hate the other clans as much as the other clans hate them so you would have to start there to get their blood magic.
I mean if we assume every generation since caine has 3 childer on average, not likely to be accurate but higher numbers make the percent ridiculously low unless we really overcomplicate it, that would put 9th generation in roughly 3% of vampires, which seems reasonable, and remains quite nice in power level
So, Tzimisce and Tremere. They're linked in that the Tremere rendered down numerous Tzimisce to get their vampirism and they've warred frequently over that fact. The Tzimisce are also one of the sorcerer clans among vampires, which may be where you're getting them confused with the Tremere. Well, the Old Clan Tzimisce anyway. I think the New Clan that's hooked up with the Sabbat focused more on Vicissitude rather than their Koldunic Sorcery of the Old Clan.
A good rule of thumb is that the Tzimisce are polite, grotesquely alien, and generally hairless; if they don't look they belong in the dictionary under the term 'Uncanny Valley' odds are that they are not Tzimisce. Unless they look like Dracula, in which case they MIGHT be Old Clan Tzimisce, but as a rule the biggest tell for either group Tzimisce is their politeness and hospitality, because the Clan as a whole has a fixation on courtesy that becomes more and more exaggerated as they get older. The Tremere typically look like they just walked off the set of a Matrix convention, but some of them lean into the whole wizard thing. Most of them don't wear hats, but eyewear and some kind of robes or heavy clothing is common.

I think Erandil had great fun trolling SpeakerD in this, hehehe.
I think that, if Big D was to be related to Cain(e), he'd be Seth, the third child. Because Abel is dead, there's just no way around that, if Abel is suddenly not dead, then God has no reason to keep punishing Cain(e).

The prospect of Big D's elder and peers is tantalizing, especially with the implications of just how old he might be. How often do you have to correct youself in your head on this being the Norfolk in England and not the American city that holds a major naval yard? I don't know whether Big D is serious about offering a place for Kevin, and if he is, I don't know if just intends to use Malcom, or genuinely treat him as an ally and maybe friend. Canon big E would never have that level of kindness, at least not once he had his sons, no, tools. TTS? Hard to say, but leaning towards no except for the funny. Big D? Maybe.
