This song is a fantastic example of how the Beatles worked together to take things to the next level. Paul wrote the verses, John wrote the chorus, George suggested the switch up to 3/3 time, and Ringo laid down those tasty drum tracks 👌
The Beatles are so popular because no one else produced these sounds before them. They essentially created pop music and changed the course of musical history. 100% originality that we take for granted today.
I'm married to an older man who lived through this stuff when it was new and popular. What he has to remind me is that there was NOBODY doing music like this. When you hear those changes? I am an older woman who was a child when the Beatles came to America and listened to their music until they decided to go their separate ways. Of course during that time I also listened to more bands who also played rock then psychedelic rock, then heavy metal over the years.
When they first went on the Ed Sullivan Show it was the "long hair" (yes, that was considered long hair) that people commented on -- their energy and very enjoyable songs. The first hit I remember from them is "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" and "She Loves You" - such simplistic songs that were catchy (my father would complain about how stupid but I couldn't stop singing she loves you yeah yeah yeah). The older girls went crazy because of how cute Paul was. Before they became famous, the Beatles played in clubs in Germany so when they hit the scene, they had a lot of songs written. Lennon & McCartney wrote them, George Harrison later on. The Beatles were unbelievably famous before the Who even started. The Stones did not become super famous until a few years later, but nothing like Beatlemania. (Certainly over the years they are as famous but not back then.) This was 2 months after I saw them in concert. HELP! had either just been released or was about to be. My cousin was living in England then (his dad was Air Force) and he got some of the LPs that were only released in the UK - my sisters and I were so jealous of him!
@@concettaleipham6810 When I hear this song, my mind automatically starts singing the next song on the LP because that's how I listened to it in my youth.
People don't realize the innovations, new techniques this group along with George Martin came up with ...way back then. They just churned out SOOO many incredible songs ! The BEST !
No he enhaced ,THEY created..and dont refer to them as a boy band. The "Boy Bands" as they were known who came later...no t talented ,no comparison...@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425
They were genius songwriters/storytellers/composers/lyricists. The Lennon-McCartney songwriting team was unstoppable! This is one of my favorites. And the best thing is that the next Beatles song you hear will never sound like the last one you heard! Great choice and reaction. 🌸✌️
Yes, but they also changed art, fashion, even the general attitude towards religion, when they went to India and all of them returned wearing Nehru shirts. (lol) I had one. They were arguably responsible for progressive rock with their last two albums. I remember when this song was a huge gigantic hit- like all their hits. All their music from this period is just about my favorite....but with the Beatles, my favorite tends to be the one I happen to be listening to. You'd love "Help!". Great album, great era.
The fourth member is George Harrison, who wrote some of the most iconic Beatles songs, including Here Comes the Sun. He also has solo hits and later joined the Traveling Wilburys. You might want to acquaint yourself with him.
Especially since he did a reaction (and another lately with KrizKaliko) to "While my guitar gently weeps" with Prince and Georges's son, a celebration after George passed. And of course that song was written by George. I respect BP's "I didn't grow up with that, I'm uneducated", but sometimes he could do some homework after reacting to things, ffs
Want to hear an incredible story? Listen to this: one morning, Paul woke up with an entire song in his head. He played it to John and asked "what's that song? I can't get it out of my mind". John said that he had never heard it but that it was very good. Turns out that it was one of the most revered and a favorite Beatles song: Yesterday.
And George Martin - called the "Fifth Beatle", created the string quartet arrangement for Yesterday based on how Paul said he wanted the song to sound.
John was my favorite and Paul was most other girls...I was an adult when John was murdered..remember exactly where I was and cried for days!!! I remember asking my Mom how could I be so incredibly sad over someone I didn't know and wisely she said you did knowhim in a way ,he was such a big part of your youth and now you lost a part of your youth...
Imagine the joy of having grown up with this in the background of your life. I was privileged. I was also blessed to have parents who knew what was happening and bought us Beatles albums and encouraged us to recognize the genius.
I'm 75 and lived those times, it was so refreshing to hear something different from music that our parents were listening to. You have to go back and listen to music before they came around to understand what I'm talking about. Not all their music is a favorite of mine but it is innovative. Love your reactions to all the music you've been listening to. Great response.
One of the things that make The Beatles so great is how much they changed and took the rest of the music world with them in just 7 years as a band. When they first hit the scene, they did stick to the established formula somewhat and put out a lot of short catchy songs that were the required length to get airplay as singles, and they were the best at it, but then they evolved and changed the entire music landscape. I prefer their later songs and albums, which became more and more sophisticated, but you can see their greatness just by how many of these catchy gems they made in a very short period of time.
I remember The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. Musically, those four lads from Liverpool didn't know they couldn't, so they accomplished things no one else ever dreamed of!
My mom made sure we watched the Ed Sullivan Show that night. We *always" watched Ed, but she REALLY needed us to see them. We both picked *George* as our favorite Beatle.
The Beatles turned out over 185 original songs, that were virtually all very complex. Their lyrics, and melodies alway give good vibes. To this day, The Beatles are the highest earning act of all time. But even more impressive is how they played in their live shows, from 1963-1966. Nobody played better, or tighter live, than The Beatles! Their musicianship, stagecraft, and overall professionalism, was second to NONE, and they were all only in their very early 20's. Check it out, you will be amazed... great Job!👍🏻
You know what. i hate that sentence. They were not ahead of their time. What happened is very few people took the Beatles lead. A lot of bands just left the ball on the court dead. There are some that did take the hand off. While others didn't.
"We Can Work It Out" was recorded over two days in October 1965 in sessions amounting to 11 hours - the Beatles’ longest time spent completing a song to date. Paul McCartney wrote the upbeat verses and chorus, reportedly after a disagreement with his then-girlfriend, actress Jane Asher, while John Lennon had the idea for the pessimistic “Life is very short” counterpoint. According to John: "Paul did the first half, I did the middle eight. But you’ve got Paul writing, ‘We can work it out, we can work it out’ - real optimistic, y’know, and me impatient: ‘Life is very short and there’s no time for fussing and fighting, my friend.’" According to Paul: "I started writing the song to try to figure my way out of feeling bad after an argument (with Jane Asher). It was really fresh in my mind. You can’t write this kind of song two weeks later. You have to do it immediately. Writing a song is a good way to get your thoughts out and to allow yourself to say things that you might not say to the other person." Paul and Jane Asher unfortunately split up for good in 1968.
George Harrison, George wrote the songs "Gently Weeps", that was released as a single upon John's recommendation. George also wrote "Here comes the sun", "Something", etc. Ringo wrote "Don't pass me by", sang lead on "Yellow Submarine", "Octopus's Garden", "With a little help from my friends", "Act Naturally", "What goes on", "Honey Don't", "I wann be your man", "Boys", "Matchbox",
All of the Beatles songs were written and arranged by them. Key changes, time changes in the songs were all their ideas. That's why they were the number one band back in the 60's. This is what I grew up on & it was fantastic.
Paul wrote the verses, John the middle eight. John said years later that Paul's lyrics tend to be happy and upbeat, while his own lyrics tended to be darker with certain bluesy edge. In the verses, Paul is very optimistic "We can work it out", while John is very impatient in the middle eight "there's no time for fussing and fighting". The yin and yang of the Beatles.
When one of their songs leans towards positivity, that’s Paul’s influence. When it seems darker, that’s John’s influence. Sometimes when they were writing, John would encourage Paul to be a little more edgy while Paul would encourage John to lighten up a little when he got too hopeless sounding in his lyrics. They said that themselves. The two of them wrote most of their songs. They were only in their early TWENTIES! Incredible! Their music was so wonderful to discover. My friends and I would get a new album and play it over and over until we knew all of the lyrics and sang them. They came along after JFK was murdered and they gave us hope for our future. I was 13. Nancy Lee here. I appreciate your musings. Good insights.❤
The best way to experience The Beatles music is chronologically! Start with some songs on their first records. Meet the Beatles was one of the first albums that everyone had to have after they first came to America in February 1964. Go back to that one. I Wanna Hold Your Hand was the first big hit in the States. They performed it on Ed Sullivan show and this song STILL holds up today as a great rockin’ song that changed THE WORLD!
@@tracymetherell8744 I agree!! The early Beatles stereo mixing had sharp separation of the channels. For example, with drums panned hard left and background vocals panned hard right. It felt very unnatural hearing it like this. It was before mixing techniques mimicked how humans actually hear with their ears. Chuck
@@Bassman.9 Ah wrong. Anyone who knows the real story behind their fame will tell you that it was Epstein who changed their look their songs and sold them to a teen audience and radio stations. So they are just a boy band. Exactly what Simon Cowell does today with his bunch of groovy accountants and also the same applies to Elvis and the colonel.
And still going. Slowing down, lower volume, but the genius lives on and will do so forever. He has continued to be an amazing creator and an incredibly humble, decent man for nearly seven decades. Absolutely a living legend and worthy of respect from every decent person on earth! 💐
You know a lot of other people will tell you that there are other bands out there that have better music possibly... Maybe even sold more.. maybe even more creative and certain aspects. But every single one of them owes their fame and fortune to the Beatles. Without the Beatles they would never have been
I wouldn't call them rock'n'roll. More like folk pop to me. They did a lot for music, then Led Zeppelin got hold of it and did it better. Just my opinion.
This is Paul. Listen to his later solo stuff. Just could spit out melodies and harmonies and stitch them together like nothing. One of the best of the last century.
On the verses Ringo is hitting the snare drum on the two and four of the four bar measure. When it goes to Life is very short he changes and hits the snare on the 1,2,3,4.All 4 beats of the measure. it then switches to a waltz beat on fighting my friend which is 1,2,3 1,2,3 1,2,3 1,2,3.Really cool. I’ve been a huge Beatles fan from the beginning. I remember hearing this song when it first came on the radio. I remember how different it sounded to me at 13. Day Tripper was even better to me back then because it was a rocker and had the great guitar riff. That riff still holds up to this day. I ran out and bought the 45. I had been playing guitar for 2 years and I couldn’t wait to put it on and learn that guitar riff.
NOBODY made music like this back then - they took Chuck Barry, American soul, Buddy Holly rock & mashed it up & came out with their own sound - I was a teenager at the time & we all had mad crushes on these FAB 4!!!!! They were way ahead of their time & changed the course of rock & roll!! They were all in their early 20's when this same out!!! I WORE their 45's out!!!!! Their song "Yesterday" is considered the most covered song of all time & is also voted by other songwriters as the song they wished they had written!!!
I discovered the Beatles when I was 12 in 1978. For the next two years I only heard Beatles starting with the early song and stepping forward from year to year - my favourite Band for all my life.
"Day Tripper" was originally intended to be The Beatles’ final single of 1965. However, "We Can Work It Out" was felt by the group and their manager, Brian Epstein, to be the more commercial song. John Lennon disagreed, and fought to retain "Day Tripper" as the lead song (btw "Day Tripper" is a superb song!). The result was the single being marketed as the world’s first double A-side, which was released on 3 December 1965 in the UK - the same day as their sixth studio album "Rubber Soul" - and three days later in the US. In the UK, "We Can Work It Out"/"Day Tripper" entered the singles chart at number one, where it remained for five weeks and sold over a million copies. This double A-sided single also topped the charts in the US, and became The Beatles’ fastest-selling single since the release of "Can’t Buy Me Love" on 16 March 1964.
George Harrison,it was his song While my Guitar Gently Weeps you reacted to the cover of with Tom Petty,Jeff Lynn,Steve Windwood,Dhanni Harrison and Prince.Need to do the Beatles original.
Not an accordion. John was playing a harmonium that they found hidden away in the studio by chance. John and Paul both could play various keyboard instruments. Even Ringo could play in C.
Most everyone covered a Beatle song at some point in their career ...and most everyone will recognize a song of theirs even if it's played as elevator muzak
Dude, my compliments on your deep appreciation and understanding of the Beatles' craftsmanship, artistry and inventiveness. The Beatles were arguably the most influential artists of the 20th century, in any medium.
I keep the Beatles on UA-cam's "Shuffle" playlist pretty much every day. I was actually too young to be from the Beatles generation - my parents were too old...So I really "discovered" them much later in life. I said it in a previous post here - The Beatles are to modern music as Bach, Beethoven and "the gang" were to classical music. I love this particular song, BTW.😀
This is 1965. Realize they were very young. But their last appearance in 1969, they were adults. That growth was phenomenal. Their last works were more like Led Zeppelin. In this song, Paul wrote the beginning and the end. John wrote the middle. Then George Harrison arranged the middle to the tempo of a waltz. They just don’t get enough credit for being great musicians. Really good songwriting. This was from their Rubber Soul album, my favorite album and I still have it. That’s almost 60 years ago. I was five and it was a birthday gift. Any track on the album will blow you away. Later came the heavy rock sounds from John mostly. Helter Skelter and Revolution, and Come Together. Many more. Deep rabbit whole. Plus each of them had successful solo careers.
You said John mostly wrote some of the harder rock songs. That's true although it's a sweeping statement. However, the first song you put under that umbrella was a Paul song: Helter Skelter.
I believe collectively they wrote almost 200 songs. They were then and are still amazing. My favorite band of all time. My favorite band since I first heard them, at the age of 15 yrs., 61 years ago!
Those drops from 4/4 to 3/4 always fascinated me when I first heard them and have greatly influenced me as a composer. I love how the song finishes with a single bar of 3/4. Amazing writing!
George Harrison is the one you're struggling to remember. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," "Something," and "Here Comes the Sun" are some of the Beatles' amazing tunes penned & sung (lead vocals) by George. HIGHLY recommend all three!
The amount of and variety of nuances that the Beatles added to their songs, set so many standards. They created their own genre. No one has ever come close!
1964 was a huge year for music. The Beatles had., I think, seven songs in the Billboard Top 100 for the year. Others on that top 100 included Barbara Streisand, Dean Martin, The Animals, Roy Orbison, The Drifters, and Jan & Dean. Big transition year for pop music---- we got "Hello Dolly", "People", "Dancin' in the Streets", "Oh Pretty Woman", "Dead Man's Curve", and "A Hard Day's Night" all in a twelve month span. Oh, and "Louie Louie". 1965 was the height of the "British Invasion": Beatles, Stones, Herman's Hermits, Dave Clark Five, Chad and Jeremy, and lots more.
Writing from Australia...I'm 69, My mum bought the first FOUR Beatles albums when I was a kid...I still have them and I bought the remainder till Let it Be. I have them all on vinyl and no doubt they will outlast me.
This song is from their "Rubber Soul" album. Prior to this, although they were already popular, most of their music was pretty similar to many rock & roll artists of the period. With "Rubber Soul" they definitely showed the world that they were a step above. This is when they really became a driving force in the way future music would be written and produced. They were always looking for new sounds and original ways to use the studio equipment.
This is the Beatles. 1960's. Already showing that they are not the same, showing original music, very early in the era of rock and roll, not a genre yet, still a few years away, but this early music from the Beatles started a revolution in popular music. They are unmatched to this day.
I love every stage of the Beatles journey. The moment I hear one of their songs it makes me feel happy and young again. We Can Work It Out is such a great song and very representative of the mid Early Beatles. Hit after hit after hit through every stage of their career. Truly remarkable. Hey Jude was never a favorite Beatles song of mine, but I can still listen to it with a smile and the melody is fabulous as usual. The end goes on too long for my taste but I was listening to it the other day and was struck how subtle variations in the background instruments keep subtly changing that chorus and move it along in interesting ways. There are maybe three or 4 Beatles songs I don’t love and they tend to be what I would call “silly” songs. But even those are incredibly melodic and get stuck in my head sometimes. Glad you are diving deeper into The Beatles - John, Paul, George and Ringo. Their music hasn’t aged a day for me and millions of other people around the world.
Black Pegasus, here is the info on this song : "We Can Work It Out" is a song by the English rock band the Beatles, written by Paul McCartney and John Lennon. It was first issued as a double A-side single with "Day Tripper" in December 1965. The song was recorded during the sessions for the band's Rubber Soul album. The single reached number one in Britain (where it won the Ivor Novello Award for the top-selling A-side of 1965), the United States, Australia, Canada, and Ireland. In the UK, it was the seventh highest selling single of the 1960s. "We Can Work It Out" is a comparatively rare example of a Lennon-McCartney collaboration from this period in the Beatles' career, in that the two songwriters worked together as they had when writing the group's early hit singles of 1963. "A Day in the Life", "Baby, You're a Rich Man", and "I've Got a Feeling", are among the other notable exceptions to this trend from the group's later career
Hey BP, Below are some key dates in the Beatles history, starting from 1962. You may find this information useful when attempting to crawl into the biggest "rabbit hole" of them all! Note that in the US market in the '60s, it was expected for albums to include the current hit single, whereas British albums typically did not duplicate songs released as singles. This resulted in 11 Beatles albums being released by Capitol in the US from 1964 to 1966, culled from seven UK albums and various singles. This discrepancy between US and UK releases was rectified many years ago. So, all 12 studio albums recorded in the UK by the Beatles are available in the US, and are considered canon in both countries. To avoid confusion, only the 12 studio albums recorded in the UK (ie, as the Beatles intended), are noted in the list below. *1962* _January 1, 1962_ The Beatles audition for Decca Records but are turned down, as "guitar bands are on the way out". Oh yes "He knows". Paul McCartney said that the fact that he, John and George all went to 'Art School' in Liverpool gave them a lot of confidence to be creative and innovative. They absolutely knew they were good...
Paul McCartney said in an interview a few years ago that him and John were looking for something different to use in the middle 8, when they sang life is to short for fussing and fighting my friend and George Harrison suggested they slow it down to a waltz type break and it definitely worked!
BP, this song is just one of their many good songs. Every LP/CD is filled with numerous hit songs. I would recommend buying the complete Beatles box set which consists of 16 CD's, or, you can get the whole set in vinyl. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!
They worked for years - literally YEARS - to figure out how to write not only popular sons, catchy songs, musically excellent songs, but also EFFICIENT SONGS.
Just about everybody making music now can trace their inspiration back to the Beatles. Even you, BP. If not directly, then the musicians who inspired the musicians who directly inspired you. A lot of inspiration can happen over 60 years, after all.
There are 'Paul' songs and there are 'John' songs; this is a 'Paul AND John' song. Optimist Paul wrote 'we can work it out', John the realist wrote 'life is very short'.
According to Beatles Bible, Paul wrote the verses to this song, and John wrote the middle eight. Paul is being optimistic and John being impatient. Paul wrote it after a disagreement with his then girlfriend, Jane Asher. It's one of the great things about John and Paul co-writing their songs together. I had the pleasure of seeing the Beatles in concert live in Portland Oregon in August 1965. I think it was on their second tour of the US. As I recall, they were scheduled to play somewhere else, but that fell through, so the opted to play in Portland instead. That was a lucky break for me, and an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience. I figured if I don't see them at the Portland show, I'd never be able to see them anywhere else. I was not disappointed.
Beatles have different stages. Early Beatles are covers of their influences like Chuck Berry. Then, what I consider a middle stage which I feel this song represents where they began writing their own songs. Later, a very experimental stage. All good.
There's a reason why John Lennon and Paul McCartney are still considered two of the greatest songwriters we've ever had. They were just that good.
This song is a fantastic example of how the Beatles worked together to take things to the next level. Paul wrote the verses, John wrote the chorus, George suggested the switch up to 3/3 time, and Ringo laid down those tasty drum tracks 👌

The Beatles! The best Band EVER! Musical geniuses. Lennon,McCartney, Star and Harrison. ❤️✌🏻🎶
George Harrison actually came up with the idea for that 3-time Walz breakdown. Genius stuff
George used waltz a few times. I Me Mine, Behind That Locked Door.
They were genius songwriters/storytellers/composers/lyricists. The Lennon-McCartney songwriting team was unstoppable! This is one of my favorites. And the best thing is that the next Beatles song you hear will never sound like the last one you heard! Great choice and reaction. 🌸✌️
Beatles...the band who changed the music FOREVER....The GOAT !!!!!
The greatest of all time.
The fourth member is George Harrison, who wrote some of the most iconic Beatles songs, including Here Comes the Sun. He also has solo hits and later joined the Traveling Wilburys. You might want to acquaint yourself with him.
Love, love the Traveling Wilburys! 👍
Well you beat me to it, telling Black Pegasus that the fourth member is George Harrison.
He wrote my favourite Beatles song. Something.
You do Robert, George Harrison and his son Dhani Harrison.
This is what we listened to, for free, on public radio. Good times.

And one of the most covered songs as well. So many people recorded Yesterday. You really need to cover that song next.
And George Martin - called the "Fifth Beatle", created the string quartet arrangement for Yesterday based on how Paul said he wanted the song to sound.
"YESTERDAY" NEXT PLEASE!❤❤❤❤❤
Yesterday is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most covered song in the world…2200 covers!
"Scrambled eggs" was what Paul said he kept thinking. Changed to "Yesterday", eventually!
Listen to their music in order from beginning to end of their career and be amazed by their musical evolution and innovation
The Beatles aren’t everyone’s favorite band, but they’re the greatest band!
If the Beatles are not your favorite I would bet it's your favorite bands favorite band. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
and it’s really not debatable.
To remember: It's "John, Paul, George and Ringo". That's how they were known during the Fab Four days.
To me it was George, some other guy, some other guy, and some other guy
George was always my favorite, too.
And the order in which they came together.
The harmony singing line is one of the best ever.
This is what happens when four musical geniuses play together, timeless music
And all lived close together as kids, karma.

For sure...they changed ,grew and we with them!
The BEATLES were ahead of their time. Simply brilliant. Their music proves it.
⬆️⬆️ THIS! They were ahead of their time and the basis for ALL future rock! That's why they are the GOATs.
But you’ve got Paul writing, ‘We can work it out, we can work it out’ - real optimistic, y’know, and me impatient: ‘Life is very short and there’s no time for fussing and fighting, my friend.’"
According to Paul: "I started writing the song to try to figure my way out of feeling bad after an argument (with Jane Asher). It was really fresh in my mind. You can’t write this kind of song two weeks later. You have to do it immediately. Writing a song is a good way to get your thoughts out and to allow yourself to say things that you might not say to the other person."
Paul and Jane Asher unfortunately split up for good in 1968.
Thanks for the backstory! I have always loved this but never knew the details 🌸
Wow I'd like to have whatever book you have on them and their "story"

The best way to experience The Beatles music is chronologically! Start with some songs on their first records. Meet the Beatles was one of the first albums that everyone had to have after they first came to America in February 1964. Go back to that one.
I Wanna Hold Your Hand was the first big hit in the States. They performed it on Ed Sullivan show and this song STILL holds up today as a great rockin’ song that changed THE WORLD!
they set the blueprint for the next 50 years and they were done at ages 28 and 29
The best way to hear The Beatles is with a great pair of headphones. You’ll hear them the way they were meant to be heard.
I believe this for all reactions, though I have tried to say this also, he believes his speakers are as good as headphones.
Nahhhh, they were best heard while parked in Santa Cruz CA, on the speaker of the car radio of a 56 TBird with the top down during the summer!

It's a Paul & John song. They melded two songs together, with Paul on lead vocals.
This song is appropriate for our times.
Meaningful on many fronts.
The Beatles were the greatest bridge composers that ever existed.
The bridge is the "Life is very short" part. Nobody has ever done bridges like them.

Another favorite was their song "Anna"...so heartfelt!
Perfect example of Paul and John’s ying and yang of song writing.
Paul’s sunny “we can work it out” combined with cynical John’s “life is very short”
@maryt2290 Sadly it was one of several times John foreshadowed his own fate in his music.
And Paul's middle eight in A Day in the Life
"Day Tripper" was originally intended to be The Beatles’ final single of 1965.
Plus the Travelling Wilbury songs that you reviewed.
The accordion was a nice touch to a good melody. Gives it that continental feel. Stevie Wonder loved it and recorded a version.
Not an accordion. John was playing a harmonium that they found hidden away in the studio by chance. John and Paul both could play various keyboard instruments. Even Ringo could play in C.

Dude, my compliments on your deep appreciation and understanding of the Beatles' craftsmanship, artistry and inventiveness. The Beatles were arguably the most influential artists of the 20th century, in any medium.
I was raised on the Beatles and even 43 years later there music still sounds relevent so many amazing songs for you to discover still bro 😁
You said mostly when mentioning some or the Hardee rock songs. Yet the first example you gave was a Paul song: Helter Skeltor.
Dude, this rabbit hole runs very very deep.....enjoy the Journey !!!!!

I'm glad I grew up with this fantastic music. 🎶🎶🎶👍🙋♀️
Hey BP,
Below are some key dates in the Beatles history, starting from 1962.

Great list and great job StephenStrudwick8095, you are on it and I know you were there for it all. Good work and thanks!
@@davidjennings1771 Thank you. 🙂
Oh yes "He knows". Paul McCartney said that the fact that he, John and George all went to 'Art School' in Liverpool gave them a lot of confidence to be creative and innovative. They absolutely knew they were good...
Paul and George didn’t go to Art School 😊
These guys are legends, beyond legends, for a reason!
I would recommend buying the complete Beatles box set which
consists of 16 CD's, or, you can get the whole set in vinyl. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!
They worked for years - literally YEARS - to figure out how to write not only popular sons, catchy songs, musically excellent songs, but also EFFICIENT SONGS.
This song isn't just about a couple's relationship. It's also about friendships, family, and social dynamics.
Just about everybody making music now can trace their inspiration back to the Beatles. Even you, BP. If not directly, then the musicians who inspired the musicians who directly inspired you. A lot of inspiration can happen over 60 years, after all.
Writing lyrics is a real talent but composing an original, unique and catchy piece of music is genius.
All good.
The best band ever EVER or ever will be again.. 🙏🏻💛💛💛💛💛
