What I can say is that Vitória impressed me. I am Brazilian from the state of São Paulo, and it’s the first time I’ve seen Vitória filmed from the inside. It truly has that Rio Grande do Sul vibe. The city took me straight to the 1950s; there’s nothing to change there, just preserve it for what it is-a majestic place that takes me back to a special time in our country. Beautiful Vitória.
i am a Chinese,Luckily i went to Vitoria twice a month for business. The City i live in China is also an island city called Xiamen which is also like Vitoria and also the city i took flight first to Qatar, then Sao paulo then Vitoria. I have to say this is an amazing city with genuine and helpful Brazilians and scenic spots and delicious food like moqeca. I stayed there for 4 months in 2024. Funny thing,i had been to Bahia,ES,Minas like Vitoria,Belo horizante,Valadares,Vitoria da conquista and many small cities, but never been to Sao Paulo or Rio hahhah
sorry,twice a year,two months per time
Yes it really is a nice city. It seems very livable as does Vila Velha.
Vitoria - ES it is a nice place to visit.
Vitória is a good city, but is often forgotten by other brazilians. Great video!
Yeah it was pretty good. Thank you!
Anchieta Palace is the seat of the executive branch of the state of Espírito Santo, built in 1551 as a church first, then a school and finally the state`s seat of the executive branch of the state starting in the 18th century. Visitation is allowed, same with the governor's residence in Vila Velha that also has art pieces for viewings in the gigantic yard surrounding the place (must schedule visitation first)
“I heard this city was dangerous. I don’t feel it. Maybe because I live in Rio.” 😂
Do you feel that if it was a weekend there would be more activity in the street?
It's not that dangerous 😂
I think if you went for a weekend you could find more to do but probably likely more action in Vila Velha on weekends.
Vitória is not a dangerous city, walk from Camburi beach to the center of Vitória, calmly... for Brazilian standards, Vitória is a very good city to live in (it doesn't have the glamor of Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo ), but it is a safe city, you can walk everywhere, there are good shopping malls, people are well educated... I was born and live in Vitória, in terms of quality of life, it is one of the best cities in Brazil.
I did not find it to be all that dangerous in comparison to Rio or Sao Paulo.
Gun violence every week depending on the neighborhood you live in.
I have read it has the 4th largest quality of living in Brazil.
It is but still has it's dangers.
@@nickmusttravel yikes. I will stick to Portugal. Lol.
It's NOT dangerous to me. It reminnds me of Boston in the 1980s. Just be aware of your surrounding most especially at night. Like anywhere in the world. I have a home on Aleixo Neto Street. It's a great neighborhood.
Your in the old part of Vitoria. There is a revitalization going on downtown. I love the old buildings there.
It was not as dangerous as Rio or Sao Paulo that's for sure.
Abs
Nothing like grafiti to make a building look shitty. I’m not talking street art.
I agree. 💯
you look and sound too serious to get genuine answers my dude. those sunglasses make you look like authority
Could it be the sunglasses? lol I have sensitive eyes from sunlight.
Which is the safest city in brazil
Florianopolis for me.
City Looks boring, no life
A lot of the activities moved from downtown Vitoria to other neighborhoods like Nick said in the beginning. Vitoria is a small Island, so things moved to it`s waterfront, the neighboring city Vila Velha and the mountains (1:30 hours from Vitoria). It has a great quality of life compared to most of places in Brazil. You could enjoy a morning in the beach and a great sunset in the mountain in the same day. Great place to raise a family, open a business (2nd best place country wide), second best place to grow old.... and so many others. There are a lot of other projects starting in the Greater Vitoria area that will transform this capital to rival any other in Brazil by the year 2030. So if you are an investor I would say Greater Vitoria might be a place for you to look into while things are still in breaking ground, in a few years it will be impossible to buy here. Vitoria already has one of the most expensive square feet in Brazil. It also has one of the best GDPs in Brazil rival to Sao Paulo or the cities in South Brazil, it`s just that most people do not flaunt it like in many other places, but it would surprise you just how wealthy the place actually is!
