- Excerpts from a lecture by Italian trainer William Pino on the occasion of the 2012 edition of "The Camp" in Wuppertal, GER. The WDSF wishes to thank William as well as the organisers of "The Camp" for allowing that this recording may be published as part of the YouTraining DanceSport programme. Recorded and edited by Prof Helmut Roland.
This really was an incredible lecture! I've been there at The Camp - actually Pino showed a lot of dancing while lecturing as well (showing us simplicity of movement vs. 'abracadabra' moves as he calls them, e.g. Slow Waltz which could also be Tango if one would just turn off the music...) but what was best: the group lesson he did after his lecture!! He just made us think about how easy ballroom dancing could actually be (even though it takes a hell lot of effort and time to get to that level
So True, thank you Mr. Pino.
William is a genius!
4:10 Benny Tolmeyer said to William, when it's too complex, something is wrong.
Abracadabra 1 high speed, 2 strange and complicated choreography.

They probably meant "dis I like" as in "this I like" instead of "dislike" :)
wow......why did you do that...lecture??
thats strange.... you made your self into abracadabra...everybody knows you because as a competitor you used to show only abracadabra without any step of basic or without any basic timing... now you dont accept this anymore... thats strange...
