- Dr. Salman Akhtar, renowned author and Professor of Psychiatry and Human Behavior at Jefferson Medical College, discusses the faith hunger that led him towards psychoanalysis, as well as three facets of analytic attitude, namely survival, vision, and faith.
His presentation is the second segment of an eleven-part series from the Danielsen Institute's 60th Anniversary Celebration, the 2012 Merle Jordan Conference, entitled "The Skillful Soul of the Psychotherapist: Master Clinicians and Theologians in Dialogue."
