Installing a FITCAMX dashcam on my 2019 Audi ETron. They say it is an easy install but things aren’t always as they seem. We’ll also show you some video samples in broad daylight and in normal city night driving.

Thanks for the review. I am thinking of getting one of these for my Audi as well. I saw one car enthusiast at the car and coffee for his Audi and it looks really neat. However, it seems kind of disappointed with the quality of the video. I am currently using the Ventrue N2 Pro, but the new car that I got is tight and it's hard to run the wire.
Yeah behind those neat Fitcamx installation, there might be inevitable broken clips behind that only he is aware :) Fortunately Audi designed redundantly for those clips so it will still holds well even if one of two clips were broken. I wonder why newer car doesn't have dash camera factory installed that I am willing to pay for.
I tried to install the version with rear camera. I couldn't for the life of me get it to fit as the extra rear cable made it impossible to put back together. Fitcamx sent me an updated version, hoping i can get this one to work.
I had a devil of a time trying to just get the standard one in place. It was a tight fit. Im glad I didn't have to deal with a rear camera cable. I wish you good fortune in trying to piece all that together.
I beleive the parking motion only works if you purchase the fusebox wire harness and connect directly to the fuse. As it is, beleive it is connected to rain sensor and when car is off nd no poweer, it will not do anything if someone comes by and hits your car?
That is correct. This is why I was disappointed in the features of this camera. The only thing it had going for it was the fact that it blended nicely with the interior. In the heat of South Texas it sometimes begins "graining" the video very badly. I really should have stuck with Viofo.
