Im a self taut, play by ear pianst with a feel for rythym, over the last year I have gone through all you blues lessons, you have opened a new world to me. unlike other cheesy piano lessons I can easly stay focused and interested. I am completely in love with the blues, I now play in a band and get a LOT of complments! All thanks to you jonnyboy. Keep it up. this bluesy groove is so fun to play.
hugely inspiring for me, i'm just starting off, can't afford lessons ATM so i just try and sit down for a couple of hours a night and just go for it haha great video.
@captainwiggles777 Heh. Yes, it is actually me. ;) -- although all of my new videos are going up on my new channel: "groovewindow" - if you want the new stuff, that's where it'll be. @e3133d3 - I'll see if I can't whip out a transcription for this when I get a free couple of hours, and post it to my site...
Jonathon, did you ever get the transcription completed for Slow Funk Piano Improv in C? I'm a big fan and have looked at "GrooveWindow", but to no avail.
@llanfairpwllgwyn Yep - just put it right behind center of piano, aimed at piano back. Levels must be set to low to accommodate the volume. Lots of ways to do it -- this way is a very 'direct' sound, but you tend to pick up the middle register more than the high/low ends. Just experiment with placement. The recorder does a great job, though -- especially for the price :)
