G Scale Trains AR

On Sunday night, Mother Nature supplied the challenge, Monday morning, the Aikenknees Railway provided the solution..!
We have temperatures at 12C below and 1:29 scale of 5 to 8 feet of snow, topping out with a few 12 foot high drifts. The operating crews with Wedge Plow-CN23744, pushed by GP38-2 CN9404, CN9406 and SD40-2 CN5937 followed with Caboose CN79235, persisted and had the main line open by noon.
Shortly there after, Grain Train 421 was on the move.

I'm not a modeler, but I love seeing things like this. A model snowplow actually plowing snow. I wish I could make myself into a G scale human being and get a cab ride in that lead unit.

At some train shows, there are booths where you can pay to be scanned, they send you the file so you can 3d and paint it...

in 1:29 numbers probably 4 to 6 feet with some drifts reaching the top of the cab windows, 12 to 14 feet. 😎
